Additional Inheritance - Chap 82
Chapter 82 (M)
Returning to his hometown he hadn’t seen in ages, Wen Xiaohui walked off the plane and drew a deep breath to experience the dry air that was so different from the South. The sky was still overcast. It was obvious that he’d inhaled more than just air.
As if there was no one else around, Luo Yi held Wen Xiaohui’s hand as they left the airport, ignoring the shocked expressions of the bustling crowd. Luo Rui followed beside them and his ears reddened subconsciously.
After getting into the taxi, Wen Xiaohui tried to sit as far away from Luo Yi as he could, but there wasn’t much space in the back. Luo Yi continued to hold his hand. It was almost like a nervous reaction – as if Wen Xiaohui would disappear as soon as he let go. Their palms began to sweat. Wen Xiaohui felt uncomfortable and he started to struggle. He couldn’t free himself.
The cabin descended into an awkward silence.
After a while, Luo Rui said, “Xiaohui, Auntie is coming back to China tomorrow.”
“So soon?” Wen Xiaohui’s heart clenched. He really missed his mum, but he realised at this moment that he wasn’t prepared and couldn’t help feeling cowardly.
Luo Yi seemed to be able to read his mind. “Don’t be afraid. If you need…”
“I don’t need you to come with me. Don’t provoke my mum.”
Luo Yi said dejectedly, “Okay, I won’t go, but you have to give her the set of jades. You promised me. You should have given it to her on her wedding day.”
Wen Xiaohui was worried that Luo Yi would insist on coming along, and he immediately agreed to compromise. “Fine.”
Luo Rui turned around in the front seat and said softly, “Don’t worry, I’ll come with you.”
Wen Xiaohui gave him a look of gratitude.
The driver brought them all back to Luo Yi’s house. Wen Xiaohui got out of the taxi, and he raised his head to stare at the villa. He felt a multitude of regret. In this house, fate had brought them together and it had also driven them apart. From the budding of love to its intensification, their love transformed into something ominous until, ultimately, it withered away. It all happened in this place. Of all the places in the world, this was the one he was most unwilling to enter, yet it held a multitude of unforgettable memories.
Luo Yi tightened his grip and turned to glance at Luo Rui. “This is your first time at my house.”
Luo Rui nodded absentmindedly, but he wasn’t sure why he felt a chill down his spine. He’d known Luo Yi for so long and it was his first time at Luo Yi’s house.
Luo Yi smiled. “I won’t invite you inside. The driver will take you back and I’ll take Xiaohui-ge home tomorrow.”
Luo Yi Rui nodded once more.
Wen Xiaohui said, “Xiao Ma, let’s keep in touch. See you tomorrow.”
“See you tomorrow.”
Once Luo Rui left, Luo Yi lowered his head to kiss Wen Xiaohui on the head. “Welcome home.”
Wen Xiaohui clenched his fists and felt a sudden chill rushing towards his forehead. Those two words were spoken in a neutral tone, but with a hint of coldness. He was aware that Luo Yi had been holding back his anger towards his departure, and perhaps it forced him to remember things he wanted to forget.
“Why are you daydreaming? Come on in.” Luo Yi led Wen Xiaohui into the house. He said with a smile, “Without you, the house has lost its soul. It has been waiting for its master.”
“I’m not its master.” Wen Xiaohui couldn’t bear Luo Yi’s sinister tone.
“You are if I say so.” Luo Yi turned to push Wen Xiaohui against the door which hadn’t been completely closed, and Wen Xiaohui forcefully bumped against it causing a loud bang. Wen Xiaohui hadn’t yet recovered from the shock when a warm pair of lips pressed against his, and his mouth became filled with the taste of Luo Yi.
Luo Yi confined Wen Xiaohui between his arms, securing the back of his head with his hand. He kissed Wen Xiaohui aggressively and hurried to stick his hand down Wen Xiaohui’s trousers to grope his balls.
Wen Xiaohui moaned. He wanted to resist, but his hand froze. Why make any unnecessary moves? He thought to himself how there was no benefit in provoking Luo Yi, and like he had said previously, it was just sex.
“I really want…” Luo Yi panted heavily in his ear, “to fuck you right here. I want to fuck you in every inch of this house like how we used to.” He pulled Wen Xiaohui’s trousers down roughly, then turned to push him down onto the plush woollen rug.
Wen Xiaohui bit his lip as he looked over Luo Yi’s shoulder at the chandelier hanging overhead. He tasted the metallic flavour of blood when Luo Yi’s finger breached his most intimate place, and his gaze gradually became hazy. Wen Xiaohui went rigid. Luo Yi’s lips kissed Wen Xiaohui’s chest, who felt as though he was being licked by a venomous tongue. Danger and fear made him tremble, but it also filled him with an inexplicable sense of sexual pleasure.
Luo Yi used to be gentle and restrained, but he no longer needed to put on an act. He was generally capable of pretending to be the perfect lover, but once naked, he was like a savage beast released from its cage – vicious and eager. Wen Xiaohui was drunk that night. His memory of what had happened was fuzzy, but in this instant, he couldn’t have been more clear-headed. He took in Luo Yi’s eyes, which had become bloodshot due to his intense possessiveness. In particular, when Luo Yi penetrated him roughly, his sense of satisfaction was akin to possessing the entire world.
Soon, Wen Xiaohui was unable to continue observing Luo Yi. Under Luo Yi’s forceful thrusts, he struggled to stay alert and could only bob along to Luo Yi’s movements in the ocean of lust. His head spun. The familiar surroundings looked warped and shredded his rationality.
Luo Yi must have gone mad – he made love to Wen Xiaohui ruthlessly as he continuously changed position and location. They fucked when the sun dazzled in the sky and kept going until it dimmed. It seemed as though they were trying to contaminate every corner and every floor tile in the house with the scent of their entanglement, like some kind of bizarre and lewd ritual that would trap Wen Xiaohui in Luo Yi’s hands and heart forever.
From his strong initial reaction to fear and then delirium, Wen Xiaohui used both his body and mind to experience Luo Yi’s endless brutality. When Luo Yi thrust into his body over and over, it finally dawned on him that he was being punished for leaving, and Luo Yi was demanding back the two years that they’d lost using this extreme and desperate act of pleasure. It gave him a warning that he’d never forget. He realised now, more than ever, that he might never be able to leave Luo Yi…
———————————————-
It was already pitch-black outside when Wen Xiaohui woke up. He found himself lying in bed, and he couldn’t remember when he lost consciousness. He only recalled his chilling memories of Luo Yi.
His whole body ached and both his mouth and tongue felt dry. He gritted his teeth as he tried to get up to grab some water, but his body protested as soon as he moved.
Luo Yi woke up and whispered, “What’s the matter? Do you need to go to the bathroom?”
Wen Xiaohui glared at him in the dark. “I want a drink of water.” He opened his mouth, but his voice was hoarse.
Luo Yi turned over and got out of bed. He soon came back after pouring a glass of water and brought it to Wen Xiaohui’s lips.
Wen Xiaohui gulped it down as the refreshing liquid flowed through his parched throat. He felt pain like he was being burned.
Luo Yi stroked Wen Xiaohui’s cheek. “Do you want to drink some more?”
Wen Xiaohui shook his head.
“Are you hungry?”
Wen Xiaohui lay back down on the bed. He didn’t want to say anything.
Luo Yi said tenderly, “You must be exhausted. Too many memories came flooding back when you came home, so I couldn’t control it…”
Wen Xiaohui pressed his ear tightly against the pillow as he tried to block out Luo Yi’s voice. However, he still had another ear.
Luo Yi hugged him around the waist from behind. “It’s just past 4am. It’s an awkward time, so try and sleep a bit more.”
Wen Xiaohui continued to stay quiet.
Luo Yi kissed Wen Xiaohui on the neck. “You’ve been asleep for nearly 10 hours, so I guess you might not be able to fall back asleep. Would you like to chat?”
“I want to sleep,” whispered Wen Xiaohui.
Luo Yi laughed, “I bet you’ll fall asleep while we’re chatting.” He couldn’t hold himself back from kissing Wen Xiaohui again. “Did you like it? No one else can satisfy you like I can. You kept moaning and it sounded so nice. It’s a shame I didn’t record it.”
Wen Xiaohui’s face felt like it was scorching. In the dark, his eyes widened until they were perfectly round.
“Do you remember the video we made together? I used to take it out to watch whenever I missed you during the past two years. You’re so captivating and delectable. How could I give you to someone else?” Luo Yi turned Wen Xiaohui around to face him. “The main thing is, no one truly loved me besides you.”
Wen Xiaohui’s heart quivered. In the light of the moon, he looked into Luo Yi’s eyes, which looked as deep as the ocean, possessing love so deep that it could make a person drown. He pinched himself discretely and said coldly, “Yaya sacrificed so much for you, but what does she mean to you?”
“You don’t understand. Mum was full of contradictions – she despised my birth and feared me when I was growing up, but she couldn’t free herself from the bonds of motherhood. Did she love me? Perhaps, but she also hated and feared me. That’s why I said that her death freed her. She chose to leave because she wanted to leave me.”
Wen Xiaohui felt a chill in his heart. Luo Yi had never said these things to him before, and they were enough to break his heart. He couldn’t bear to think about Yaya’s suffering over the past decade – she was the partner of a vicious wolf and also gave birth to a wolf cub. At this stage, even he thought that Yaya had made the right choice.
“You’re the only one.” Luo Yi’s cotton soft lips brushed the tip of Wen Xiaohui’s nose. “You’re the only one who genuinely loved me.”
Wen Xiaohui said in a low voice, “How many times do I need to tell you? You’re not the person I fell in love with.”
“It’s still me even if it’s the pretend version of me. You like me, not anyone else, and I can give you any inch of my skin or any particular detail that you fancy. My feelings for you are real even though I told many lies in the past. Please give me a chance. I’ll return everything to you.”
Wen Xiaohui put his hand on Luo Yi’s chest to gradually place some distance between them. His eyes shone brightly as he looked straight at Luo Yi. “That’s impossible, Luo Yi. How can you not understand? It’s impossible unless you can turn back time, so that you never lied to me. I don’t have any other options if you want to keep me by your side. I’ll keep you company if you want to have sex. I’ll agree to everything as long as you don’t make things difficult for my family and friends, but this is how things will be between us. That’s it. We can’t go back to the way we were.”
Luo Yi grabbed his hand. “Then what does that make us?”
“Whatever. Boyfriend, fuckbuddy, or kept-lover – you can decide.” Wen Xiaohui said quietly, “Luo Yi, you’re a capable person. I’ll obey you and do what you tell me to do, but you can’t control my heart. Let’s be realistic and make it work somehow.” He turned over after he finished speaking. He didn’t want to see Luo Yi’s face anymore.
Luo Yi stared at Wen Xiaohui’s frosty back. He clenched his fists, which made a popping noise. He never knew that Wen Xiaohui could be so determined and cruel, but he finally experienced it with his wounded heart.
Neither of them slept that night nor did they speak another word. Wen Xiaohui kept his eyes open and stayed up until dawn before he reluctantly got up. He took a shower, getting ready to go to the airport for a pickup.
Luo Yi got up too. He chose some clothes for Wen Xiaohui and prepared breakfast without saying a word. Then he instructed the chauffeur to take Wen Xiaohui to the airport.
Just before heading out, Luo Yi lowered his head and kissed Wen Xiaohui on the forehead. “Would you forgive me one day if I treat you well for the next 10 years or 20 years? Or a lifetime?”
Wen Xiaohui glanced at him calmly, then turned to leave the house.
Luo Yi’s eyes followed Wen Xiaohui as he disappeared into the car and took out his mobile to make a call. His low and deep voice echoed in the empty living room. “I need you to do something for me.” He didn’t have the patience to wait too long. He was desperate to see Wen Xiaohui smile at him again, no matter the consequences.
