“How are you doing? Did you find something that makes you happy? How about your songs?
“Well, everybody likes the new song I wrote. Recently, I’ve received a business proposal so now I’m composing for a foreign group.” Talking about what he liked, Wen Niannan showed a smile on his face.
Dr. Li nodded and continued: “That’s good, as long as it makes you feel happy, it’s a good thing.”
“Then…How are you and your husband?”
His grip on the cup tightened, Wen Niannan slowly lowered his head without daring to speak.
Dr. Li spoke again: “Niannan, you can tell me anything. I’m your doctor and also your friend. There is nothing you can’t say to me, don’t worry.”
“He…asked me for the divorce…I don’t know what to do…” Wen Niannan sobbed, finally saying that what he didn’t dare to mention.
“That’s why you don’t want to continue your treatment? You can tell me, it’s better to say it.”
Finally, he found someone who can talk to, Wen Niannan told him a lot of things, things that he didn’t dare to mention before. Dr. Li sat on the opposite side listening carefully and guiding him through the process.
An hour later, when the upper part of the hourglass was empty, Wen Niannan’s voice stopped, his face looking more healthy than before he entered the doctor’s office.
Dr. Li walked Wen Niannan to the door and couldn’t help saying: “Niannan, you have to live for yourself, think more about yourself, and find more things that make you happy.”
“Well, I found something I like, I’ll think more about me, thank you.” Wen Niannan nodded to Dr. Li and turned to leave.
Looking at Wen Niannan’s lonely back, Dr. Li shook his head with a sigh, returned to his desk to dial a number.
“Hey, it’s me.”
Instead of going home directly, Wen Niannan went to the commercial street where he had been before. He wanted to walk around and relax.
Unknowingly, he walked to the entrance of a musical instrument store, looking at the exquisite piano through the window display, he touched gently the glass, with a joyful look in his eyes.
“Do you like it?”A familiar voice came from behind.
Wen Niannan was surprised when he heard the known voice, he turned to see Tang Shuo standing behind him, looking at him with a brilliant smile.
“You…why are you here? “He asked in shock.
Tang Shuo stood by his side, smiling at him, he turned his head to look at the piano in the window.
“Do you like this piano?”
“Yes, I like it, I like it very much.”
As expected, Wen Niannan liked it, but even if he liked it, he couldn’t play it because Gu Yansheng didn’t like him to play the piano.
When he just got married, Wen Niannan had to move to the house, he explored the house to get familiar with it. Passing by Gu Yansheng’s study, he saw that the door to the next room wasn’t closed.
He walked past, trying to close the door but saw the piano in the room. He was instantly attracted by its view, curiously he got closer and pressed a key, caught a glimpse of the two letters above…LS.
Thinking it was Gu Yansheng’s engraving, Wen Niannan didn’t care too much. He placed his fingers on the piano keys, and a bright slowly piano sound could be heard, gradually overflowing in the whole room like a tide.
Wen Niannan, who was immersed in the beautiful sound of the piano, didn’t see a silhouette coming down from the car through the window.
“Sir…Master, you’re back.” Xu Shu changed his words immediately, remembering that the young master was already married.
As soon as Gu Yansheng entered the living room, he heard the sound of the piano coming from upstairs, his face instantly became gloomy.
“Who is up there?”
Uncle Xu was frightened by Gu Yansheng’s angry eyes, he quickly said: “Well…It’s your husband.”
