It was almost two o’clock when they arrived home, Uncle Xu greeted her nervously as soon as he saw that Lu Yun was back.
“You’re finally back, Old Lady. Please go and see Sir.”
“How is Niannan? Hasn’t he woken up yet?”
“No, Dr. Lin has come to see him. He said it’s because of the stress, anxiety, and lack of sleep, that he would be sleeping for so long.”
Lu Yun rapidly went upstairs to Niannan’s room, Zhou Yuanfeng followed her giving the luggage to Uncle Xu.

The light dimmed gradually through the window, the man on the bed frowned slightly, rubbing his temple, he opened his eyes.

He loved Shen Luoan very much, but he wasn’t divorced from Wen Niannan yet. For Gu Yansheng, the intimacy between lovers was sacred. He didn’t want to have a relationship with Shen Luoan without his divorce or take advantage of him.
“Luoan, I never cared about physical contact but I love every touch of you. You don’t have to do anything to please me. So will you wait for me? When we can be properly together.”
“Okay, I promise you, thank you Yansheng.”
He stroke Luoan’s head lightly. Then he looked down at his watch. It was almost three o’clock, he didn’t believe he slept for so long.
“Luoan, are you hungry? It’s late, I’ll make something to eat, wait for me…”
He looked up looking through the window when a realization hit his mind.
“I… did my cell phone ring?”
“What? It didn’t ring.” Said Loane, looking at him with a blank face.
Gu Yansheng took out his cellphone from his coat but found that it was turned off. There was still battery he thought, how could it be turned off?
