Don’t Mess with the Puppy! - Vol.1 Chapter 3 Part 4
“I guess it’s easy for a doctor to make such recommendations. Here.”
“…Infuriating.”
Yoon Chi-young bought strawberry juice and gently coaxed Heeseong. Heeseong received the juice with a fierce frown on his face. Actually, he wanted hot chocolate, but Yoon Chi-young had bought him something else, saying he shouldn’t have chocolate, so he was dissatisfied.
Heeseong sat on the soft sofa in the lounge in a delinquent posture and drank the juice. He didn’t know why there was a luxury lounge inside the hospital, but he had long given up on understanding the world Yoon Chi-young lived in. Just as there were rock-bottom places like gambling dens, there would be even better places to match.
In the midst of that, there was a dissatisfaction that filled Heeseong’s mind.
‘How can I sleep with that huge wolf?’
Heeseong felt that the doctor’s recommendation was absurd.
The black wolf he had seen last night was so huge that its back reached up to the waist of Heeseong’s human form. It was a fearsome beast in itself, with a seething howl that made his knees tremble.
Moreover, even Yoon Chi-young, who was currently in his half-beast state, seemed to be half out of his mind. He was consistently leaning on Heeseong’s shoulder, sniffing his scent.
“Ah, this is driving me crazy….”
“Don’t cling to me.”
Although it was a slightly better situation compared to the kisses he had to endure when he was a puppy, Heeseong was inwardly scared. It seemed like Yoon Chi-young would turn into a wolf again at any moment. It appeared that last night’s incident had left a trauma. Even if he had gotten used to sleeping with Yoon Chi-young, having sexual relations was still an absurd idea.
Moreover, Yoon Chi-young had a suspicious history.
“But… have you been unable to sleep with your lovers all this time because of pheromone shock?”
That blond wolf clan man who had clearly followed Yoon Geon-yeong before had a hideous scar left on his arm. On top of that, rumors had spread that Yoon Chi-young engaged in cannibalism. Because of that, Heeseong found it amazing that he had been able to live safely with a man-eating wolf for over a month.
“No.”
Yoon Chi-young, who was comfortably leaning against Heeseong, said with a subtle smile,
“I saved myself modestly to meet the puppy.”
“Stop talking nonsense.”
Yoon Chi-young wondered why Heeseong treated his words as nonsense. It was sincere for a monogamous wolf. However, since Heeseong didn’t seem to be in the mood to play along, he behaved meekly. Now, catering to the puppy’s whims had become a familiar task.
Hesitating, Heeseong asked again,
“That blond wolf clan man before… wasn’t it because of pheromone shock that you injured him?”
“You remember that?”
At the question, Heeseong seriously furrowed his brows and nodded, as if asking how he could forget. It was naturally an unforgettable memory. How could he forget that Yoon Chi-young had bitten off the hand of the person he was dating?
“Mr. Yoon Chi-young?”
At that moment, a nurse called for Yoon Chi-young. As he got up from his seat and took off his black long coat, Yoon Chi-young left an unexpected remark.
“Half of it was intentional.”
“…What?”
“The ones who approached me all had a reason.”
Heeseong looked up at Yoon Chi-young with surprised, wide eyes. Yoon Chi-young looked at Heeseong as if he were cute, patted his head, meticulously wrapped his thick coat around Heeseong’s back, and left.
‘Then… was that all part of the guardian’s job?’
Heeseong became as cozy as when he was a puppy buried in a blanket. However, only deeper confusion remained in his black eyes.
