Ji Ran slowly turned his body, facing the deep and cold gaze of Ye Linghan.
The sun had already completely disappeared below the horizon, and the courtyard was shrouded in darkness.

“Ranran, are you begging me?” Ye Linghan lifted his chin and his expression was full of arrogant superiority.
The bodyguards, who were standing around them like a black mass, watched them with predatory eyes.
Ji Ran knew very well that Ye Linghan must have come prepared to find them. He couldn’t escape!
