Ex-Husband Wants To Marry Again - Chap 43
“Speak if you must, but don’t use your hands!”
This was what Ye Linghan said to Ji Zongguo.
Ji Zongguo immediately nodded and apologized, “I’m sorry, Ye Shao! It’s my mistake.”
“But he doesn’t know how to be grateful! It’s a great honor for him to receive your favor, yet he still dares to run away! Don’t worry, Ye Shao, I will definitely take care of him and make him obedient.”
Ji Zongguo hated Ji Ran to death. He didn’t even know how to cherish the opportunity of climbing up the high branch that is Ye Linghan.
Ye Linghan helped Ji Ran up and firmly held him in his arms.
The actions of Ye Linghan were inconsistent with his gentle smile on his face, “Today, please invite Mr. Ji’s family to have a meal together.”
The words of Ye Linghan moved Ji Zongguo’s family to tears. They almost kneeled down to thank him.
The dinner was very sumptuous, with European-style dishes that the Ji family had never seen before on the table.
Looking at the exquisite and complicated knives and forks in front of them, Ji Zongguo and Li Huizhen didn’t dare to touch them casually. However, Ji Xingzhi couldn’t wait to use his fork to pick the food in the dishes.
His table manners were ugly, and Li Huizhen kicked him under the table, which made Ji Xingzhi restrain himself.
Ye Linghan seemed not to notice the awkward scene next to him. He cut the foie gras and held the fork with the foie gras to Ji Ran’s mouth.
“Ranran, I remember you love foie gras the most.”
Ji Ran was sitting beside Ye Linghan, and the iron chain attached to his collar was in Ye Linghan’s hand.
Looking down at the foie gras on the fork, Ji Ran felt like a pet dog that was being teased by its owner.
When the owner is happy, he gives him delicious food, and when he is not happy, he beats and kicks him.
“Why aren’t you eating?”
”Ye Linghan forcefully stuffed foie gras into Jiran’s mouth and said, ‘Eat more! I’m happy when you eat well!’
Despite always enjoying its taste in the past, Jiran felt disgusted at this moment.
He spat out the foie gras and said coldly, ‘I’m not eating it!’
Ye Linghan’s face immediately turned cold, and the atmosphere in the restaurant became tense and heavy.
‘Jiran, don’t be ungrateful! Ye Young Master treats you so well. What more do you want?’ Jizongguo was so angry that he trembled, feeling that Jiran was deliberately defying them.
‘Quickly eat the foie gras! Don’t make Ye Young Master angry!’ Li HuIQin kept signaling to Jiran with her eyes, wishing she could hold his head down and force him to eat it.
‘Jiran doesn’t want the foie gras. I think he hasn’t seen the pre-meal dessert,’ Ye Linghan said with a faint smile, waving his hand to summon a servant.
Following his gesture, the servant turned on the large screen in the restaurant.
Ye Linghan pulled Jiran forcefully to his side, embracing his struggling body.
Looking at Jiran’s angry expression, Ye Linghan turned his head, gazed at his face, and smiled tenderly, ‘Dear, I’ve prepared a special pre-meal dessert for you. I know you’ll love it.’
As Ye Linghan’s voice fell, the large screen on the wall lit up, showing a large room with a big cage in the middle.
Inside the cage were several tigers leisurely walking around.
Even with the screen between them, the sight of the fierce and bloodthirsty tigers was enough to make one shudder.
Jizongguo and Li HuIQin looked at each other, forgetting even to move their cutlery.”

Ji Xingzhi, who was usually a glutton, stopped eating and watched the TV screen nervously.
Ye Linghan leaned close to Ji Ran’s ear and whispered, “Do you like these little cuties?”
Ji Ran felt a strong sense of unease in his heart and asked, “What are you trying to do?”
“My Ranran is unhappy, and I’m trying to please you,” Ye Linghan replied with his palm outstretched. A servant immediately handed him something that looked like a remote control.
He casually pressed a button, and a short “beep” sounded from the speakers below the screen. As the sound subsided, a figure appeared on the screen.
A black-clad figure walked over, holding two pieces of bloody raw meat in his hand. The wild tigers in the cage immediately turned their eyes green with the scent of blood.
Slowly and aggressively, they walked towards the edge of the cage, with their tails held high and ready to pounce at any moment.
The black-clad man circled the cage with the meat in his hand, but he showed no intention of throwing the meat into the cage to feed the tigers.
The tigers in the cage were driven by their hunger and instincts, their eyes glowing with bloodlust, and their throats making growling sounds. Eating meat was their survival instinct, and now that instinct was being pushed to the limit.
“Ranran, your dessert is coming soon.”
Ye Linghan pressed another button, and the speakers made another “beep” sound. The black-clad figure on the screen threw the meat into a distant bucket.
Immediately after, a person was pushed into the room.
Ji Ran’s eyes widened as he recognized the person.
“Ye Linghan…”
“He had just called out the name Ye Linghan when the iron cage on the screen opened.
The black-clothed men quickly pushed forward, leaving only the released beast and the injured man in the room.
Ji Ran was stunned when he saw this scene. He hesitated for a moment, then quickly turned to the relaxed man next to him and said, “Ye Linghan, are you crazy?”
“Ranran, do you like this pre-dinner dessert?” Ye Linghan’s actions and tone were incongruous. He forcefully grabbed Ji Ran’s chin and turned his face towards the screen.
On the screen, Sheng Weiqing stumbled backward. He was badly injured, covered in whip marks.
Ferocious bloodstains covered his back, blood oozing from the wounds, further stimulating the tigers in the cage.
Several beasts had already walked out of the cage, seemingly indifferent as they approached. In fact, they had already surrounded Sheng Weiqing.
Looking at those sinister fangs and the saliva around their mouths, Ji Ran knew that these beasts would soon pounce on Sheng Weiqing, tearing his body to pieces and devouring him.”
