Ex-Husband Wants To Marry Again - Chap 48
Ji Ran blinked and carefully examined the upright sign in front of him, making sure he hadn’t read it wrong.
He slowly turned his head and looked at the man beside him, “You want to marry me?”
“Isn’t this what you asked for?” Ye Linghan touched his fair and delicate face and smiled, “I fulfill your request, and you should fulfill your promise.”
Ji Ran’s heart trembled, and he instinctively broke free from Ye Linghan’s hand, his eyes full of resistance.
He said that marriage was just a delaying tactic, because he knew that the Ye family would never let Ye Linghan marry him.
But why was the situation developing differently from what he had expected?
Ye Linghan’s finger traced his tight face due to shock, and he laughed lightly, “Are you so surprised? Or did you never really think about marrying me and were just playing with me?”
Ji Ran’s expression confirmed Ye Linghan’s guess, and he curled his lips, a bloody smile playing at the corners of his mouth, his eyes tinged with a fierce color. “Ran Ran, you know! I have a bad temper! I’ve already made a big concession by agreeing to marry you. Don’t refuse me, don’t challenge my patience repeatedly.”
Ye Linghan reached out his long arm and forcibly pulled Ji Ran into his arms.
Ji Ran crashed into his chest, his heart in turmoil.
In this complex emotional state, he even tasted a hint of sweetness and anticipation.
He met Ye Linghan when he was eighteen and was attracted to him.
When the two confirmed their romantic relationship, Ji Ran had already thought of marrying Ye Linghan someday. He believed that their love was true and that one day they could enter the marriage hall and achieve a happy union.
Later on, the two stumbled through their ups and downs and eventually ended up in the current situation. When Ji Ran mentioned marriage that day, he only said it casually, thinking that he could postpone it for as long as possible. If it really couldn’t be postponed, he considered it as planning a future for himself and his child.
However, he never thought that the least likely thing to happen would actually happen! Ye Linghan truly wanted to marry him!
Ji Ran’s gaze trembled with both fear and anticipation as he struggled with himself.
Ye Linghan didn’t give him a chance to resist, picked him up horizontally, and walked into the Civil Affairs Bureau.
The director of the bureau was already waiting here, and he greeted Ye Linghan with flattery when he saw him: “Mr. Ye, you’re here! Please come in quickly!”
As he spoke, the director discreetly glanced at the boy in Ye Linghan’s arms.
He had a beautiful and delicate appearance, especially eye-catching.
But… why was he an Alpha?
Wasn’t Ye Linghan’s fiancée supposed to be a very excellent and beautiful Omega?
What’s going on here?
Director was puzzled, but Ye Linghan had already walked into the office carrying Ji Ran.
After coming to his senses, the Director quickly went in and began the normal procedures with a sarcastic laugh.
“Ye, can you provide the documents for the two of you?”
“I didn’t bring any documents.” Ji Ran’s household registration and ID card were left at home and not brought along.
Ye Linghan took out two household registration books and two ID cards from his coat pocket.
Facing Ji Ran’s surprised gaze, Ye Linghan said, “Since I promised to marry you, of course I will prepare all the necessary procedures.”
At this moment, Ji Ran realized that he wasn’t dreaming.
Ye Linghan really wanted to marry him!
All the hatred that had been lingering in his heart had become insignificant at this moment.
It seemed that Ye Linghan didn’t look down on him as much as he had imagined!
Ji Ran felt that he was very cheap, being hurt again and again, but still wavering.
He wanted a home, a complete and beautiful home so much.
Ye Linghan was giving him what he wanted now, and Ji Ran couldn’t bring himself to refuse.
The process of getting married was very simple, providing information, taking photos, and after ten or so minutes, the two red marriage certificates were ready.
The stamp of the Civil Affairs Bureau was stamped on the photo of the two of them, causing Ji Ran’s heart to tremble violently.
He took the two marriage certificates and his fingers trembled uncontrollably.
Ye Linghan leaned in and whispered in his ear, “Ranran, let me mark you tonight!”
Chapter 59: Darling, I Want to Mark You
Back at the villa, Ji Ran still felt like he was in a dream.
Subconsciously, he touched his pocket and felt something hard inside. The surreal feeling gradually dissipated.
Ye Linghan had really married him!
From now on, he would have a home!
There was no expression on Ji Ran’s face, and his eyes were calm and light, but no one knew what kind of emotions were churning inside him.
Ye Linghan ordered the servants to prepare dinner, saying they were celebrating.
After all, it was their wedding night. They could forgo the formalities, but they had to have a sense of ceremony.
While Ye Linghan wasn’t paying attention, Ji Ran quietly went upstairs and returned to their bedroom.
There was a drawer in the wardrobe that usually contained important things.
Ji Ran neatly placed the marriage certificate inside and then thought that it might wear out, so he took it out and wrapped it in an envelope before putting it back in the drawer.
Closing the drawer, Ji Ran’s face broke into a genuine smile.
He had been holding back all this time, but he couldn’t hold it in any longer.
Standing on the terrace and looking at the distant dark clouds, Ji Ran felt that the scenery had never been so beautiful.
With a good mood, even the cloudy day was so beautiful.
Ye Linghan didn’t see Ji Ran in the living room and found him upstairs, standing by the window.
Ji Ran was wearing a white pullover today, with a strong sense of design that ordinary people couldn’t handle with this slightly retro style.
However, on Ji Ran, it looked particularly appropriate and handsome.
His high cheekbones and well-proportioned figure were perfectly flawless from head to toe.
Ye Linghan fell for Ji Ran at first sight, attracted by his appearance and figure.
With a movement in his heart, Ye Linghan strode forward and hugged Ji Ran from behind, asking against his ear, “Are you happy?”
