Ex-Husband Wants To Marry Again - Chap 52
“Knowledgeable and rational, gentle and obedient, the key is to rely on him and trust him. Unlike Jiran who always wears a sour face, as if someone owes him money.
Ye Linghan gradually understood his father’s decision. Only Gan Rui was truly worthy of him and capable of giving birth to the next heir of the Ye family.
After Gan Rui fell asleep completely, Ye Linghan left the ward.
Just as he walked out of the room, he bumped into Ye Yunping.
Ye Yunping didn’t say a word and just hit him when he saw him.
Ye Linghan dodged and frowned, “Dad, why are you hitting me again?”
Ye Yunping pointed at him, his finger trembling, “You… You actually got married to Jiran. What were you thinking? How can someone like him become the young lady of the Ye family?”
“Oh, that’s what you’re talking about!” Ye Linghan said carelessly, “It’s just marriage. It’s not like we have to be tied together forever. If he still behaves badly and doesn’t listen to me like before, I will divorce him anytime.”
In Ye Linghan’s heart, those two certificates could not bind him at all. He didn’t know why Jiran was so obsessed with marriage. Since he wanted to get married, just let him be satisfied!
“Playing around is fine. Why get married? What about Gan Rui? He’s pregnant now! In a few months, he will give birth to the heir of the Ye family. Do you want him and the child to have no name and no status?”
Ye Yunping didn’t expect Ye Linghan to secretly marry Jiran, but now that the marriage was done, it was all in vain to say anything else. The most important thing now was to divorce quickly and let Ye Linghan marry Gan Rui.
“Dad, I just got married. The honeymoon period hasn’t passed yet. Let’s talk about divorce later. When I mark Jiran and let him have a child, it won’t be too late for us to divorce then.”
Ye Linghan knew Jiran’s temperament well. Giving him a marriage certificate temporarily would stabilize Jiran, making him obediently bear his child after being marked by Ye Linghan. This was Ye Linghan’s ultimate goal.
“Can’t Gan Rui give birth? Why do you have to have Jiran bear your child?”
Ye Yunping said, “Even if you want two more children, find another Omega.”
”I’ve been with Jiran for so many years, and I can’t seem to leave him for the time being,” she said.
Yelinghan laughed cynically, “Keep him by your side for a few more days. When you get tired of him, even if you let me keep him, I won’t keep him. His character is too dominant. It’s okay to keep him as a lover outside occasionally, but he’s not qualified to stay at home.”
“You know that’s enough!” Yeyunping’s anger eased a bit as he warned Yelinghan, “Don’t leak the news that you and Jiran are getting married. The Ye family can’t afford to lose him! And tell Jiran to keep his mouth shut. Don’t think that he can do whatever he wants just because he’s married to you.”
“I got it!”
“Father, aren’t you going to rest yet?” Yelinghan said, “Gan Rui is still in the hospital. How can I rest assured?”
“You have to stay at the hospital these few days and accompany him!” Yeyunping said in a low voice.
“I just got married to Jiran. You have to let me go back and spend time with him.”
Yelinghan was still thinking about marking Jiran. If he didn’t make Jiran pregnant soon, this disobedient guy might run away again one day!
Chapter 61: Yelinghan, let’s get a divorce
Yelinghan was forced to stay in the hospital by Yeyunping for three days until Gan Rui confirmed that he was okay to return to the Ye family mansion. After that, Yelinghan was allowed to leave.
Returning to the villa, Yelinghan pushed open the door and saw Jiran sitting on the sofa reading a book.
He had half-closed eyes, and his long eyelashes looked like butterfly wings, trembling gently with his breath.
His serious profile looked unusually exquisite and beautiful under the light.
Yelinghan stood on the side, staring at him for a while, feeling a bit restless in his heart.
He walked over, took the book from Jiran’s hand, threw it aside, lifted his chin, and was about to kiss him.
“Yelinghan, let’s get a divorce!” Jiran suddenly said, stopping Yelinghan’s movements.
“What did you say?”
Yelinghan felt like he must have heard it wrong.
Why did Jiran propose a divorce?
He was the one who had been longing to get married!
“We’re getting divorced!” Jiran said each word clearly and decisively, without any hesitation.
Yelinghan’s pupils suddenly dilated, and the fingers that were pinching Jiran’s chin tightened repeatedly. He gritted his teeth, and every word seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth, each sentence full of bitterness. “What are you trying to do? I only went back to accompany Gan Rui for a few days, do you have to do this? Jiran, when did you become so ruthless?”
Jiran found it unbelievable. How could Yelinghan speak these mocking words so confidently? Does he consider marriage to be child’s play? Can one marry a person and then make another person pregnant?
“But we’re already married! Shouldn’t we be loyal to each other after marriage?”
“I didn’t touch him, I just let him carry my child,” Yelinghan said matter-of-factly. “It’s all for your own good. If you had Gan Rui’s family background, and were as obedient and meek as he is, then the eldest son of the Yeh family would definitely want you to bear his child. But with your background, your parents, and your foul temper, how can you be qualified to give birth to my eldest son?”
Jiran looked at the man in front of him with shock. He couldn’t believe that Yelinghan could say such despicable things.
When a person is too angry, they tend to tremble uncontrollably and can’t come up with a rebuttal. That was exactly how Jiran felt. He couldn’t say a word, even though he was clenching his fists tightly. His chest was painful and stuffy, and his eyes were turning red.
“Are you still not convinced?” Yelinghan sneered. “Am I wrong? Your parents are addicted to gambling, your younger brother is incompetent, and other than having a pretty face, what do you have that is better than Gan Rui? If it weren’t for our four-year relationship, I wouldn’t have married you. I only pity you for not having anyone else to turn to.”
