“Ye Linghan stood on the high steps, looking down at Gan Rui sitting in the living room. His warning was particularly clear: ‘Gan Rui, you should know that I have a bad temper. Don’t play those little tricks again, or don’t blame me for being impolite.’

Jiran felt a sense of relief, realizing that his palm was covered in sweat.
Ye Linghan looked down at him from above. “Since you’re not feeling well, you should see a doctor. That’s the only way to have a healthy baby.”
Jiran’s pupils suddenly dilated. Before he could find an excuse to refuse, Ye Linghan grabbed his arm and pulled him outside.
The doctor arrived quickly and conducted a detailed physical examination for Jiran, including blood tests.

The doctor packed up the medical kit and equipment, preparing to leave with the assistant and nurse.
