Good Luck Time - Chap 20
Tao Siyuan walked around behind them several times, as if monitoring them.
Seeing a photo of the commercial street of the Reservoir Square on the top of the mountain, Tao Sizhi reached out and pointed in the distance and said: “This location on the street used to be a bookstore, and I bought a book there.”
  ”What book?” His mother asked.
  ”Thomas Calculus.”
”Oh,” she said, “Scenic bookstores still carry books like this.”
”I was looking inside for an hour,” Tao Sizhi said.
”You spent an hour looking for calculus in the scenic bookstore?” His mother turned around, looked at him with wide eyes and asked, “Where are your classmates, are they staying in the bookstore like you?” She turned around again. Looking at Tao Siyuan: “Brother, when you were at Mingde, why didn’t your classmates love studying so much?”
Tao Siyuan stood behind the sofa and said nothing.
”We’re not waiting,” Tao Sizhi told her, “they went to play.”
His mother said “Oh” and said, “I’ll leave you alone.”
”He said we should split up,” Tao Sizhi said, “and he would come back to me at five o’clock.”
”It’s quite a plan.” His mother smiled and commented.
”But he didn’t come,” Tao Sizhi added, “I waited until the bookstore closed at half past five and then left.”
His mother suddenly fell silent. For some reason, she raised her head and glanced at his brother.
Tao Sizhi was still looking at his mother’s camera, wanting to see more photos of the reservoir. His mother still didn’t scroll down, so he pointed and said, “Mom, I still want to see them.”
His mother pressed the scroll down button, but she pressed it a little too fast. Tao Sizhi couldn’t see clearly, so she said, “Slow down.”
His mother stopped pressing the button, suddenly put away the camera, sat up straight, and asked him: “Where did you go before you waited for your classmates?”
”We walked to the chair behind the statue in the square.” He sat and looked at the reservoir for a long time. “The reservoir is very beautiful.”
His mother was stunned for a while, looked up at Tao Siyuan, and asked with a bad attitude: “I didn’t want him to go at that time, right? Didn’t you say that your client’s son would take care of him?”
Tao Siyuan didn’t tell her anything. He looked down at Tao Sizhi and asked, “Why didn’t you tell me then?”
”Did he ask you to say that you had a great time?” Tao Siyuan asked.
”No,” Tao Sizhi said, “I’m very happy.”
At the beginning of the trip, Tao Sizhi was really reluctant.
At that time, he was having dinner at Jiang Ge’s house. Jiang Ge told Mrs. Jiang that he was going to Yunshan for a short trip with his friends, which would last three days and two nights.
Mrs. Jiang looked at Tao Sizhi, and for some reason, told Jiang Ge that she would agree only if he brought Tao Sizhi with him.
Tao Sizhi didn’t want to go, and he immediately wanted to refuse, but Jiang Ge immediately said “ok” and dragged Tao Sizhi away.
He pulled Tao Sizhi upstairs, and Tao Sizhi told him, “I don’t want to go.”
”I want to go,” Jiang Ge said, “so you should go too.”
”I won’t go.” Tao Sizhi refused again.
”I’ll draw the card for you,” he said.
”I already have a lot of cards.” Tao Sizhi said slightly proudly.
Jiang Ge looked at him for a few seconds and asked him coldly: “You have so many cards, who drew them for you, yourself?”
Tao Sizhi was still reluctant. He took a step back and looked elsewhere. After a while, he said, “I don’t want to live in an unfamiliar place.” Then he turned around and wanted to leave.
Jiang Ge stopped him, touched his arm, looked down at him, and asked him: “Then I can get acquainted with you, okay?”
Jiang Ge used an impatient tone that would make Tao Sizhi dislike it, but strangely, Tao Sizhi did not resist. Tao Sizhi also looked at Jiang Ge. Jiang Ge looked at him for a while and then said, “You can get acquainted with him as long as you want, that’s all.”
Finally, Tao Sizhi said to Jiang Ge: “Rose Garden will launch a limited summer event the day after tomorrow. There are many cards, and I want them all.”
Jiang Ge promised him in the next second: “You will have it.”
The date of departure for Yunshan was August 3rd, and the weather was very hot that day. It takes 4 hours by car to arrive.
They went in a chartered car, which was very clean. At Tao Sizhi’s request, Jiang Ge also sent him the vehicle and driver’s information.
There were a total of 8 people on this trip, and Tao Sizhi only remembered Yang Xiao.
At 12 noon, they arrived at the hotel, where Jiang Ge and Tao Sizhi stayed in the same room. After putting down his luggage, Tao Sizhi wanted to go get acquainted with the hotel, but a girl traveling with him insisted on going to the reservoir.
In an unfamiliar indoor environment, Tao Sizhi always felt unsafe, so she could not leave Jiang Ge, the only person she was familiar with, so she had to decide to go to the reservoir with them first.
Perhaps because it was too hot, there were very few tourists at Yunshan Reservoir that day. After they bought tickets and entered the gate, they walked on the commercial street and saw few people.
Tao Sizhi saw a chain bookstore, walked to the door, and found that the layout inside was almost exactly the same as the one he often went to, and he didn’t want to leave.
Just as Tao Sizhi told his mother and brother, Jiang Ge certainly didn’t want to stay with him in the bookstore, so he made an appointment with him to come back to see him at five o’clock.
When he made the appointment with Tao Sizhi, Jiang Ge seemed absent-minded, so Tao Sizhi was not surprised when he didn’t wait for him later. He thought Jiang Ge might have forgotten.
This is normal, and it is a situation that often occurs in people with normal mental states (normal people).
After the bookstore closed, Tao Sizhi walked a short distance along the pedestrian street and saw a street sign with route instructions and some photos of the location.
Tao Sizhi liked one of the photos, so she wrote down the route and walked to the viewing point. On the back of the square statue, you can overlook the entire reservoir water.
When he sat down on the chair, it was already evening, and the wind was blowing on him, which was very cool. As the sun sets below the mountain, the water surface becomes beautiful, like an oil painting with only gray and orange flashes, hundreds of ripples, each with a formula-like arc and pattern, which fascinates Tao Sizhi.
