Good Luck Time - Chap 3
Jiang Ge smiled naturally. Looking into Tao Sizhi’s eyes, he seemed to be very close to Tao Sizhi, but also seemed to be far away.
In fact, Tao Sizhi felt that she might not recognize him anymore.
During the more than seven years of separation, Jiang Ge became a stable and decent adult that Tao Sizhi could never become. He politely said to Tao Sizhi: “Long time no see.” But Tao Sizhi was still the same as before.
The surroundings were very noisy, which was an environment Tao Sizhi didn’t like. He felt uncomfortable and wanted to go to a quieter place, so he looked around and replied vaguely to Jiang Ge: “Well… see you.”
Jiang Ge didn’t care about his unclear enunciation, and said with a smile in his voice: “Tao Sizhi, you haven’t changed.”
Tao Sizhi didn’t find a place with few people, and didn’t know what to say. She looked at Jiang Ge again and made a single sound from her nasal cavity.
Jiang Ge is handsome and has a good image. Many girls outside the hall are looking at him. He is very different from Tao Sizhi.
Tao Sizhi noticed from the corner of his eye that the screen of his mobile phone had gone dark, so he moved his eyes away from Jiang Ge, lowered his head, and tapped the screen with his right thumb to light up the game interface again.
”Are you playing games again?” Jiang Ge took a step forward and got a little closer to Tao Sizhi, “Are you still the same person as before?”
Tao Sizhi smelled the smell of wine, lowered her head and said, “No more.”
Then, he soon heard Jiang Ge continue to ask: “Does the current game require card drawing?”
He was a little uneasy, nodded as an answer, and finally took a small step to the side, his shoulders touching the marble pillars.
The marble was a bit icy, and Tao Sizhi pressed hard against it, as if being pressed against the pillar by invisible hands. He also felt uncomfortable, but since he had not finished his daily routine, he kept a strange posture and continued to play the game.
Jiang Ge stared in silence for about thirty seconds, then asked Tao Sizhi: “Do you want me to draw a card for you?”
By this time, Tao Sizhi had finished his daily routine and was going back to wait for the annual meeting draw. He pressed the lock screen, muttered “No need”, turned and walked towards the annual meeting hall. He was walking faster than usual, and he didn’t know why.
As he approached the gate, Jiang Ge called his name from behind him. He had no choice but to stop and turn around to look again.
He saw Jiang Ge standing three meters away from him, lowering his head slightly and smiling to himself reluctantly.
The reason why I say reluctant is because the curvature of the corners of Jiang Ge’s mouth is very unnatural, and his eyes are a bit evasive. Jiang Ge lowered his voice and asked Tao Sizhi: “Can you remove me from the mobile phone blacklist?”
Tao Sizhi looked at him, thought for a while, and asked him: “What blacklist?”
”You are not on my blacklist.” Tao Sizhi said.
Jiang Ge was stunned for a moment, and the little smile in his eyes disappeared.
