Lop-Eared Guard - Chap 65
Edited and Proofread by: jie
In order to balance out the growth rate of the glands at a stable recovery state, Dr. Zhong took Yan Yi off the growth medication for a month. During this period, the only soothing pheromones he got were given by Lu Shangjin which gave him the energy he needed for recovery.
One month later.
Lu Shangjin opened the closet in the bedroom. Yan Yi was curled up in a ball hiding in the corner, using clothes to bury himself up as if nothing happened.
“Yan Yan, we agreed on this last night, behave.” Lu Shangjin bent and reached into the closet, felt Yan Yi’s raised tail and pulled gently, “Come out.”
Yan Yi played dead.
Lu Shangjin picked away the tangled clothes and dug Yan Yi out, lifting him out of the closet with his hands under his armpits, “It’ll all be fine in a moment.”
Yan Yi couldn’t move as he was thrown over the shoulder, his hind legs dangling, “I don’t want to go to the hospital.”
“We have to go even if you don’t want to.” Lu Shangjin gently patted his butt, “I’m right here with you, what are you scared of.”
By the time the dawdling and coaxing was done, it was already two in the afternoon when they arrived at An Fei Ya Hospital.
Yan Yi nervously laid in Lu Shangjin’s arms, clutching Lu Shangjin’s arm hard, his ball of a tail shaking.
His pants had just been pulled down half an inch when Yan Yi got scared and held down the waistband, leaning on Lu Shangjin’s neck, “Don’t, this one really hurts, it really really hurts. I want to go home to eat. I’ll bake you a cake tonight ok?”
A few days ago, Yan Yi learned to bake a cake on a whim. When he brought a piece of strawberry cake to Lu Shangjin, who had just come back from work, Lu Shangjin was moved to the core.
From then on, Yan Yi learned to use cake as a way to sweeten up Lu Shangjin.
“You still have to get this injection.” Lu Shangjin gave him a hug and released soothing pheromones for him.
Every time he had been taken to get growth hormone shots, he threw away half his life. The usually naughty and jumpy rabbit wilted and became heartbreaking to look at after getting the injection.
After getting his injection, the little rabbit would be red around his eye sockets, and softly lay down in Lu Shangjin’s arms to sob.
“Why do I have to get injections every month?” Yan Yi wiped his eyes and choked up while asking, “Have I got an illness?”
“No, don’t think carelessly.” Lu Shangjin held his head and kissed his brow. “Can you walk? Let’s go home.”
The cool sixteen-year-old felt ashamed to cry in front of others and could no longer let his alpha carry him away.
Outside the entrance of the hospital, he wiped his face and quietly slipped his hand into Lu Shangjin’s palm, trying to hold his alpha, but his hand was released.
Yan Yi froze, looking at the loosened hand in a daze. His heart suddenly empty, unable to tell where this familiar sense of loss came from.
He came back to his senses and looked down at his feet. His loose shoelaces had been tied.
Lu Shangjin got up, took Yan Yi’s hand naturally and headed towards his car, “Why don’t you sit in the back, you can lie down for a while, or else your butt will hurt.”
Humiliated, Yan Yi climbed in, “Stop mentioning it!”
“Sorry baobei.” Lu Shangjin smiled as he closed the door and returned to the driver seat.
Yan Yi laid on his stomach in the back seat, and through the glass, he watched a man coming out from behind an old ginkgo plant by the entrance of An Fei Ya hospital.
He had a familiar face, but like other vague memories, he couldn’t find the words to tell who it was. He could only remember the peach blossom eyes that carried a hint of a smile.
Just looking at him sent an inexplicable chill down his spine. Yan Yi recoiled back in the back seat, sneaking up behind Lu Shangjin, and reached up from his seat to hug him.
Lu Shangjin reached up with one hand and touched his face. “It’s dangerous, lay back down on your stomach.”
The alpha standing next to the ginkgo walked out, staring at Lu Shangjin’s car as it left his sight from the hospital entrance.
Shao Wenjing had been standing there for a long time, but the wind was too cold so he went to a nearby coffee shop to sit for a while.
When the coffee arrived, he was still staring at the street outside the glass.
A few days ago, he received news that someone had seen Lu Shangjin with Yan Yi going in and out of An Fei Ya hospital and that their visits were fixed at the beginning of each month. So he found a chance to come, if only he could take Yan Yi away without bloodshed, that would be perfect.
He only found out after he arrived that the lop-eared rabbit omega’s glands were damaged from a gunshot wound.
The coffee beans in the store didn’t taste good and were casually pushed to the side by Shao Wenjing.
When the gland was damaged, the mark he left behind had disappeared, and that odd attachment faded with it.
What surprised him more than the damage to Yan Yi’s glands was Lu Shangjin’s willingness to go to PBB and grab stem cell samples for him.
He didn’t believe it at first, until he just saw Lu Shangjin squatting on the ground to tie Yan Yi’s shoelaces.
It was such a ridiculous act, he would never do such a thing in his life.
He felt a layer of constraints wrapped around his body was pulled off, and he felt relieved but also a sense of helpless guilt in his heart for no reason.
His phone vibrated, Wenchi had sent a text message, “The day after tomorrow at nine o ‘clock in the morning is the parent-teacher meeting, don’t forget.”
Shao Wenjing clicked his screen off, took the car keys and left.
At eight o ‘clock in the evening, Lu Shangjin had a situation at his company so he left to attend to it but did not return even when the nanny clocked out. Yan Yi let her go home as he laid on his stomach in front of the floor-to-ceiling window while he read and watched the bright lights outside.
In a park near their new neighbourhood, the lights lit up in the evening and children went to feed the pigeons in the square with corn and crushed up nuts that they bought.
Yan Yi rested his chin on his hand, distracted, the tip of his pen unconsciously scribbling three words “Lu Shangjin” in the margin of the book.
He stared at the name he had written and felt a sudden pain in his stomach.
Yan Yi shivered, gathering his clothes with a bit of fear and hurriedly scribbled over the name into a black spot.
Just the sight of this inexplicably familiar name made him feel depressed inside.
At 8:15pm, Lu Shangjin still hadn’t returned home. The house was empty and silent. Yan Yi rubbed the sweat off his palms and suddenly thought of looking for a phone, wanting to call him.
Before he found a phone, the whole house suddenly went dark, so dark that he couldn’t see his fingers if his arm was outstretched in front of him.
His eyes had not yet adjusted to the darkness of the blackout, he could not see anything, and everything outside the floor-to-ceiling windows had become a slab of black darkness as well.
Yan Yi froze and sat down on the ground, creeping gingerly backwards into the corner until his back touched the wall. He made himself retract carefully, stretching the hem of his nightgown to its longest length, and hiding his curled toes inside the hem.
The electricity should be back on soon, right?
Yan Yi still wanted to find a phone to call his alpha, but he did not dare to leave the corner, nor dared to close his eyes or keep them open. In front of him was just a dark mass, like something was coming to suck him in.
When vision is obscured by darkness, the other senses become extremely sensitive. Yan Yi could hear the noise of clocks, which gradually became the chaos of gunfire in his mind.
He nervously pressed on the dull bullet scar on body which still gave off a faint hint of pain.
“Don’t come here…” Yan Yi shut his eyes in horror, as something approached him and grabbed onto his ankle.
Yan Yi was almost scared out of his mind when suddenly a pair of arms was wrapped around him, and soothing pheromones cloaked his body.
Lu Shangjin picked him up, gently patting his back, “I’m here, it’s okay, it’s just an electronic repair.”
He heard the little rabbit in his arms sniffle while clinging onto him like a lifeline.
Yan Yi held him very very tightly. He did have an alpha. A warm, dependable alpha, strong and gentle, who would protect him from harm.
Not getting hurt by “Lu Shangjin”.
Lu Shangjin didn’t know what he was thinking about, only thinking that he was scared about the power cut. So he held him as he laid in bed, spooning and petting him.
“I worked overtime today. I’ll review it.” Lu Shangjin, afraid the room was too quiet, murmured to him, “Let’s go out to play this weekend. Write down any place you want to go to. Leave it to me if you can’t think of anything.”
“Ge ge.” Yan Yi interrupted him lightly.
“What’s wrong?” Lu Shangjin petted him over and over.
“I’m scared.” Yan Yi buried his head into Lu Shangjin’s chest, holding his hand tightly.
Lu Shangjin felt that something was up, “What are you scared about?”
Scared that you’re too similar to the person I hate.
Yan Yi didn’t say it out loud. He crawled onto Lu Shangjin and straddled him, as if to make sure that the alpha in front of him was unconditionally pampered, he held his cheek and kissed him.
He mustn’t become that person, Yan Yi pleaded from his heart.
The little rabbit was affectionate and proactive today. He was straddling Lu Shangjin, grinding on him through the fabric of their clothes, his breathing hot and fast when leaning in for a kiss.
Lu Shangjin stroked the base of his tail and in exchange, the omega’s body responded with a small spasm.
“My tail is… very sensitive…” Yan Yi stuck to Lu Shangjin’s neck, trembling and panting, “My ears also want…”
Lu Shangjin kissed the soft, quivering rabbit’s ear, only to realise as an afterthought that his omega was in heat when the sweet, soft, creamy-flavoured courtship pheromones wrapped around his glands.
He was 17 years old.
Lu Shangjin rolled over, pinning Yan Yi under his body, folding his legs up to his chest.
The alpha’s breathing grew heavy as he became induced by the omega’s courtship pheromones. The pheromones in the bedroom suddenly thickened, filling the alpha up with an overwhelming feeling of love he couldn’t control.
Yan Yi took Lu Shangjin’s hand and put it on his cock which was raised between his legs, leading him to rub lightly while saying softly, “Touch me.”
For exactly half a year, Lu Shangjin could only rely on inhibitors when he was in a rut. He knew Yan Yi had gone through more time in heat alone than he had, which was his own fault. But the alpha’s rut period made him inherently more violent and unbearable than the omega’s heat period.
He couldn’t resist having his beloved omega under him.
So like a hawk swooping down with sharp claws clamping down on a weak little rabbit, Lu Shangjin uncontrollably kissed his neck, trailing down and kissing his whole body, and finally taking his cock into his mouth to suck.
When being sucked, Yan Yi was well behaved, because he hadn’t done it for a long time, so it hurt like he was about to split open at the seams.
The little rabbit bit his lip, not daring to cry out. In his memory, this kind of pain could only be suffered alone.
Lu Shangjin lowered his head to kiss his quivering eyelashes, “We won’t do it if it hurts, I’ll help you come, I can also use fingers for behind as well. I’ll use inhibitors.”
Yan Yi held him tightly by the neck, “Can you keep pampering me from now on, don’t like other people. Don’t become… that person I hate the most.”
“I’ll only love Yan Yan.” Lu Shangjin replied wholeheartedly, his actions becoming more gentle to save him from some pain.
He formed a knot inside him, kissed the side of his neck, and gave the 17 year old the most tender, intoxicating sex.
