Mr. Dior - Chap 55
The little wife had no strength to resist the great Vampire Lord, and could only let him suck away his “essence” in great quantity. Towards the end, he couldn’t hold himself up anymore, and collapsed onto the table, panting weakly.
His Majesty the Vampire King was now satisfied. He ignored his exhausted little bloodslave and went to rinse his mouth before coming back unhurriedly to carry Jiao Qi off the table. What was strange to him was that his little wife didn’t look pale and wan after having his blood sucked out. To the contrary, he was as red as a lobster.
Jiao Qi buried his face in Big Cock Zhang’s chest. He was incredibly embarrassed right now. He had never compromised himself with any of Zhang Chenfei’s previous overbearing CEO characters, and the last thing he expected was that he’d be tripped up by this vampire character of his.
“Tired?” Zhang Chenfei asked, setting Jiao Qi down on the sofa. He took off his jacket and put it over Jiao Qi’s shoulders. He had been too excited when sucking his bloodslave’s blood earlier, and had pulled his little wife’s shirt open.
Jiao Qi yawned. He was always a little tired after engaging in this sort of activity. However, it was still morning, and taking a “morning nap” sounded too ridiculous for words.
“Just sleep if you’re tired,” Zhang Chenfei said. The Vampire Lord was in a fantastic mood now that he had eaten his fill. He kissed his weak little sacrifical lamb, then pulled out a blanket from the cupboard. “I’ll wake you when it’s time to eat.”
Jiao Qi covered the lower half of his face with the blanket. “In future, you’re not do it in the office…” he said.
“I can’t make any promises,” Zhang Chenfei said. He had originally wanted to say that a mere sacrifice had no right to make such demands, but a well-mannered noble vampire did not scare its food. Mr Dior caressed his little wife’s face tenderly. “The times I need to feed aren’t fixed, so I might want it at any time. Don’t worry, this room is soundproof.”
“… …” Jiao Qi clenched and unclenched his fists below the blanket three times, and managed to resist the urge to sock Zhang Chenfei. It was pointless to argue with the mentally unsound. He snuggled into the sofa, closed his eyes, and went to sleep.
Jiao Qi got his energy back after sleeping for half an hour. He opened his eyes, then saw that the secretary was using hand signs to communicate silently with Big Cock Zhang.
“Ahem…” Jiao Qi coughed lightly to signal to them that he was awake, and the two started speaking normally immediately.
“Baby, you’re awake.”
“I’ll leave, then,” the secretary said, putting a paper bag on the table. He nodded politely at Jiao Qi and left the office, closing the door behind him.
That paper bag undoubtedly held a new shirt. Ever since Big Cock Zhang came down with this “illness”, Jiao Qi’s expensive shirts had turned into disposable wear. He had to throw away a ruined shirt about once every two days now.
From the moment Big Cock Zhang had asked his secretary to lock the office doors, the secretary probably already guessed what they were doing inside. Jiao Qi gave it up and just went for broke. He changed into the new shirt and got back to work. There was a senior management meeting in Shifei that afternoon, and Zhang Chenfei had to go to the highest floor to attend this meeting. Jiao Qi looked at the schedule and saw that this meeting would take four hours. He suggested that he would go back to Bajiao Inc. for a bit, since there was a project meeting at that time as well.
“Absolutely not. You’re coming with me to the top floor,” Zhang Chenfei said. The great Vampire Lord had just tasted heaven and didn’t want to let Jiao Qi go. He just wanted to put his delicious little wife into his pocket, so that he could just pull him out for a quick lick if craving struck.
“I’m not going,” Jiao Qi said adamantly. Zhang Chenfei’s current character didn’t seem to affect his decision-making abilities, and Jiao Qi didn’t need to chaperone him. It didn’t make sense for him to waste time doing something that Zhang Chenfei could manage on his own; he had his own things to attend to as well.
“You can choose not to go, but you can’t leave this office,” Zhang Chenfei said, deciding to compromise after a fighting a momentous but mighty internal battle. “If I come back halfway and find that you’re gone, I’ll make a blood sacrifice out of everyone in Bajiao!”
“… Got it.”
Jiao Qi didn’t know how this Big Cock Lord was going to make blood sacrifices of his employees, but he decided not to risk it, and remained in Zhang Chenfei’s office obediently. The project meeting wasn’t a terribly important one anyway, so he attended it virtually from Shifei.
The primary agenda of this meeting was to discuss whether to take on BBQ TV’s television programmes. After KY left, he’d sent a new representative to continue negotiations in a great show of sincerity. Jiao Qi wasn’t very willing to continue working with him, and so asked his Projects Team to concurrently look for other Amirican broadcasters to work with.
“BBQ’s good at producing drama, suspense and workplace TV dramas. BBL, on the other hand, specialises in family dramas and sitcoms. If we want to raise Bajiao’s brand value, then the recommendation still is to buy over BBQ. But if what we want is market penetration, then BBL might be better…”
Jiao Qi was listening attentively to the reports in the virtual meeting when he suddenly heard the door open. He turned to have a look, and found that Big Cock Zhang, who was supposed to be in a meeting on the top floor, had secretly snuck down to stick his head into the office. He immediately slunk away like a frightened mouse the moment Jiao Qi looked at him, closing the door behind him with a click.
“… …”
Weirdo.
Everyone on the top floor was completely confounded as well. The meeting had only been going on for an hour when they discovered that their CEO had vanished. After pulling this disappearing act, he was back after just a few minutes, walking hurriedly into the room. They assumed that he’d gone to the toilet, so they didn’t pay any attention to it initially, but when this happened every hour, they started to suspect something was off.
Vice President Zhao was a forty-year-old man whose seat was right next to Zhang Chenfei’s. He observed his CEO dash out of the room three times as if he couldn’t hold his pee, and finally couldn’t stop himself from asking a question. “You can’t hold it in?” he said.
“Nn.” Zhang Chenfei said, nodding his head. His sweet dessert of a wife was just downstairs, and he was afraid someone would steal him away or that he would meet with some grave danger, and couldn’t hold himself back from going down every hour to check on him.
Vice President Zhao sighed. When the meeting was over, he sent the contact details of a urologist to his boss. “You should see a doctor soon. This sort of thing shouldn’t be delayed,” he advised.
“What am I seeing him for?” Zhang Chenfei asked, confused. He was infatuated with his pampered little wife – why did he need to see a doctor for that?
“Incontinence,” Vice President Zhao said, giving him a look that said “I get you, don’t worry”. He clapped Zhang Chenfei on the shoulder and left.
The great Lord Nicholas felt that he had just been dealt a grave insult. However, vampires needed to keep their identities a secret, and there was no way to explain the insane desire he had toward his bloodslave without revealing this. He had no choice but to endure being misunderstood by mere mortals.
“My noble efforts in enduring insult and injury must be documented in the Zhang family records,” the elegant Vampire Lord said to his little wife after regaling him with this tale.
“I suspect that your Zhang family descendants may not want to read about these noble efforts of yours,” Jiao Qi said, giving him a sympathetic sideways glance.
“You don’t understand…” Mr Dior said gloomily. He then saw that his little wife was driving toward a restaurant. “Let’s go home. I’ll cook you something nice.”
Today, the little sacrificial lamb had obediently offered his blood up to the great Vampire King and had to duly rewarded. Food from outside was insufficiently nutritious and could not replenish the “essence” that Jiao Qi had lost today, so it was imperative that he cook for his little wife.
The fridge back home was full of fresh ingredients. There was even a bottle of superior soup stock prepared by the chefs at their villa. That stock was made by boiling duck, chicken and pork bones with other tasty ingredients over a slow fire through the night, and could make any dish incredibly tasty. Zhang Chenfei took the whole bottle out to make Buddha Jumps Over the Wall.
Zhang Chenfei had quite a few high-tech kitchen gadgets. One of these was a pressure cooker. The taste of food cooked with a pressure cooker couldn’t be said to be as good as when it was boiled slowly in a traditional earthen pot, but the advantage of using it was that food could be prepared very quickly. His little wife was probably famished after losing so much blood, and he had to let him eat something nourishing as quickly as possible.
Jiao Qi didn’t trust Zhang Chenfei in the kitchen whilst he was a vampire, so he stood at the kitchen door to supervise. He was now a demonic bat after all, and the little wife was worried that he’d stick strange ingredients into their food. Thankfully, Mr Vampire didn’t put any “eye of newt” or “toe of frog” into the soup, and the dish he prepared was a perfectly normal one.
The steaming hot Buddha Jumps Over The Wall was served, and when the lid was lifted away, the rich fragrance of the dish filled the whole dining room. Jiao Qi took the spoonful of soup that his Laogong held out to him and drank it. It was savoury and seasoned to perfection. He had a bite of scallop meat in that mouthful, and the taste lingered on his tongue even after he had swallowed.
Jiao Qi didn’t like to eat commercially prepared food. When he was young, the nanny had not fed him properly, and he often bought food to eat with the generous allowance his parents provided. However, food that purchased from outside was always oily and salty, and eating it all the time made him feel unwell. The first time he ate Zhang Chenfei’s home-cooked food, he was completely blown away.
That was the first dish that he felt tasted like “home”.
According to Zhang Chenfei, he had learnt to cook from his granny. After his mother passed away, he was taken care of by his old granny, and the only thing she could teach him was how to cook.
“My Granny said that I had to learn to cook if I wanted to get married,” Zhang Chenfei had said. Actually, the dishes he’d been taught weren’t anything fancy. His granny had only hoped to ensure that her grandson didn’t starve after she passed on, and didn’t know that what she’d taught him was now used to keep his wife happy.
When Zhang Chenfei discovered that his little wife loved to eat his food, he started cooking for him very often, and his skills in the kitchen got better and better. He even learnt how to cook really good soups because of Jiao Qi’s weak stomach.
“Are you ok? Earth to Jiao Qi,” Zhang Chenfei said, waving a hand in front of his little wife’s face. Jiao Qi had been staring into space.
“I’m good. It’s really good,” Jiao Qi said, picking up his bowl and finishing everything in it noisily.
It was good for his bloodslave to eat well. He would taste even better that way. The great Vampire Lord industriously gave him another helping and encouraged him to eat up.
The two of them finished the entire pot of Buddha Jumps Over The Wall. All the ingredients in it were very nourishing, and Jiao Qi started to feel hot shortly after dinner.
“Do you feel hot?” Jiao Qi asked, nuzzling against his Laogong, who was reclining in the sofa and playing a game on his IntelliBrain.
“What do you wanna do, baby?” Zhang Chenfei said, reaching out to wrap Jiao Qi in his arms. He was feeling a little warm. He’d just eaten nourishing essence earlier in the day, after all, and then had Buddha Jumps Over The Wall for dinner.
“Nn…”
“You want me to drink more blood?” Zhang Chenfei asked, shutting down his IntelliBrain. He caressed his little bloodslave’s smooth face, then shook his head gently. “I know sucking your blood gives you mindblowing pleasure, so much so that you might get addicted, but it’s not good to do it too often. You’ll die if you lose too much blood.”
He was determined to resist the temptations of his sweet little wife. He was a vampire who firmly believed in sustainable development!
