My Little Poplar - Chap 111
Bai Xinyu wanted to go home after eating but Yu Fengcheng pulled him in and won’t let him go, he’s never felt Yu Fengcheng so clingy before, as if he’s afraid he’ll run away once he’s out the door, he won’t let go. In the end he was so angry that he said, “What do you want?”
“I just want to watch you.” Yu Fengcheng said with a straight face.
Bai Xinyu looked at his watch and said, “Don’t you have to go back to school? Is your mother coming to see you off?”
Yu Fengcheng was more concerned about something else, “I’m coming to the hospital in three days for rehabilitation, will you come and see me?”
Bai Xinyu raised an eyebrow and said, “I’m very busy with work.”
“Then I’ll come and see you.”
“Don’t come, don’t ever show up at my office again.”
Yu Fengcheng frowned, “Why.”
“My brother is annoyed with you.”
Yu Fengcheng pursed his lips, “You care so much about what your brother thinks?”
Bai Xinyu blurted out: “Just as much as you care about your Little Uncle.”
Yu Fengcheng’s face changed and his eyes darkened.
Bai Xinyu regretted his words as soon as they were out of his mouth, he was not a broad minded person, it was impossible for him to ignore the past but he didn’t want to make things difficult for each other, he just said it all, he couldn’t take it back, he just looked at Yu Fengcheng in an awkward way. Maybe deep down he just wanted to stab Yu Fengcheng a few times to make himself feel better.
Yu Fengcheng smiled lightly and said, “My Little Uncle is very supportive of me getting you back into the old the Yu family but your brother is trying to drive me out of the house, one day I will make him admit it to himself.”
Bai Xinyu said: “My brother is not easy to please, do you think he’ll be nice to you if you hook him up with a few projects, anyway, he’s a mercenary businessman?”
Yu Fengcheng blinked and said helplessly: “You and I have old scores to settle, don’t use them all up at once.”
Bai Xinyu grunted and said while huffing: “You said this about my brother, I can use it several times.”
Yu Fengcheng looked deep into his eyes and said: “I’m sorry.” He had always been jealous of the cousin who had been a hundred thousand miles away from Bai Xinyu, yet still had Bai Xinyu’s admiration and respect and obedience and now he was even more jealous, only he wouldn’t speak out of turn.
Bai Xinyu looked at him with such sudden solemnity and said uncomfortably, “All right, I won’t irritate you, I really must go back.”
“Why are you in a hurry to go home?”
Bai Xinyu paused and said frankly: “To be with my mother.” He was afraid that his mother would feel bad, thinking or something and when he thought of her disappointed eyes, he felt a flood of guilt.
Yu Fengcheng hesitated and finally said: “You can go back then but do come and see me at the next rehab.”
“Got it.” Bai Xinyu bent down and gave him a gentle sip on the lips, “Get your leg well.”
Yu Fengcheng kissed him back, “Just because you said no to cripples, I’ll get better as soon as I can.” He added: “But it’s only my leg that’s hurt.”
Bai Xinyu narrowed his eyes slightly, leaning in to whisper in Yu Fengcheng’s ear: “It affects play.”
Yu Fengcheng snapped the back of his neck, his lips brushed against his chin and said, “Absolutely not, let’s try, if I don’t play well, I’ll have to start again.”
