Chapter 28 Pleading
Early the next morning, Zhou Shuo was ordered by Xia Liang to go shopping.
However, he waited until near noon when he saw Zhou Shuo opening the door with his shoulders slumped and coming in, carrying a shriveled plastic bag in his hand.
Xia Liang couldn’t wait to ask: “Have you bought the things?”
Zhou Shuo handed the plastic bag to Xia Liang silently.
Xia Liang opened it and saw that there were only a few boxes of pregnancy test papers inside and no other drugs were found.
”Where’s the abortion pill?” Xia Liang asked.
Zhou Shuo hesitated for a moment and said: “Brother Liang, it’s not certain whether you are pregnant now, so…”
”So you didn’t go to the hospital?”
Zhou Shuo lowered his head and said nothing
”You just bought a few boxes of pregnancy test strips?”
Zhou Shuo remained silent.
”Just buy a few boxes of pregnancy test papers, and you can hang out all morning?” Xia Liang’s anger boiled up from nowhere. In fact, he didn’t quite know why he was so angry, but he just wanted to get angry inexplicably.

Zhou Shuo nodded and went to the restaurant.
After Xia Liang waited for Zhou Shuo to leave, she took out the pregnancy test paper and read the instructions carefully, then took the box and locked herself in the bathroom.
