Ni Jiu (Intoxicated) - Chap 67
The redness on Shen Tingwei’s face due to shyness has not completely faded away. He looked at Lian Jue in confusion, his expression became a little dumb: “…what dog?”
Like a conditioned reflex, Yu Man’s white Pomeranian immediately appeared in Lian Jue’s mind. He doesn’t know if he was angry with the inappropriate picture in his mind or because of Shen Tingwei’s deliberate humiliation. Hee said to Shen Tingwei with a cold face, “Take your messy things away.”
Shen Tingwei’s became nervous because he felt a little ashamed but it was slowly dissipated by his sudden outburst of temper. The matter of building a nest for his partner was quite private but it was not entirely applicable to the both of them. Lian Jue’s contractual relationship, so he was mentally prepared before Lian Jue came back.
This kind of behavior, which is tantamount to stepping on his mind and trampling on the ground hurts Shen Tingwei’s self-esteem a bit. As if a pot of biting cold water poured down in the winter making Shen Tingwei’s blood chill for a moment. But after all, he made his own decisions, he couldn’t blame Lian Jue. He could only blame himself in his heart.
Shen Tingwei lowereeed his head without saying a word. He wrapped his belongings in a blanket, picked up a bunch of clothes and planned to leave.
Lian Jue watched him walk out with a bag full of bits and pieces. For no apparent reason hr was upset that Shen Tingwei would not defend himself and asked him, “Where are you going?”
Shen Tingwei didn’t really want to stay here, so his footsteps were slow but he didn’t stop and said glumly, “Go back to my room.”
He held the doorknob with his hand and pressed it down, pulling the door open in a narrow slit. An arm brushed the side of his ear and pressed the door in front of him again.
The sound of the door closing sounded close to his ear, as if he had bumped into Shen Tingwei’s heart, making him suddenly feel a nameless grievance and then the sourness overflowing from his chest spread from his nose to his eyes.
Shen Tingwei stood by the door with his back to Lian Jue. He forced his voice to keep it as calm as possible: “Lian… Sir, what’s the matter?”
The change of this title made Lian Jue feel a slight and brief discomfort in his heart but as soon as it passed by, he didn’t think much about this innocuous matter.
Lian Jue looked at Shen Tingwei’s crimson neck slowly floating up and said to him, “Turn around.”
Shen Tingwei blinked his eyes slightly, trying to dispel the fog in front of his eyes. He bit his lip lightly, then turned around with a nonchalant expression: “…Ah?”
Lian Jue was very close. There was a fresh coolness on his body just after taking a bath but there was no smell of the faint woody fragrance. Shen Tingwei was not short but standing in front of Lian Jue he can only reach his chin or lips.
He didn’t want to look directly into Lian Jue’s eyes since it would make him feel more ashamed, so he lowered his gaze very low and stopped at Lian Jue’s collarbone.
Lian Jue lowered his eyes and stared at Shen Tingwei’s face for a while, his expression softened a bit than before.
He sometimes thinks that Shen Tingwei is stupid and sometimes think that there is no one smarter than him in the world. He can even swear off such a detour.
He also felt that Shen Tingwei was very unreasonable and after scolding people, he was angry.
“Did I offend you today?” Lian Jue asked him, “Just because I didn’t let you hold enough?”
Shen Tingwei didn’t know how he understand this. He just inexplicably felt that he was wronged by him, which made him feel bad. He raised his eyes and glanced at Lian Jue quickly. He said in a low voice, “No.”
His eyes were a little red, his nose was thin and smooth. Lian Jue looked at his expression inexplicably with a bad mood but his voice was involuntarily much lighter and said to him: “I don’t think you smell bad but it’s too stuffy in the car.” Afraid that he didn’t understand, he explained in more detail, “Lin Chen’s driving skills are too poor. I’m getting motion sickness.”
Shen Tingwei never thought that he would suffer from motion sickness. He raised his head in surprise and looked at him with his bitten wet lips slightly open: “… motion sickness?”
Lian Jue was stared at him very uncomfortably and gave a soft, “um”. He seemed to want to change the subject his tone was calm but mixed with blunt blame: “Why do you like to think so much?”
Shen Tingwei felt ashamed by what he said. He followed his words and blamed himself for thinking so much. It was just motion sickness. Lian Jue didn’t have a second gender, so how could there be a susceptible period.
He felt that he was extremely stupid. The clothes that he was holding with his pheromones seemed to be warm, burning his arms and making them sore. His eyes turned even redder, from self-righteous shame to self-righteous embarrassment. He lowered his head and whispered “I’m sorry.” He turned around in a hurry to escape this embarrassing scene that made him almost feel suffocated.
But Lian Jue didn’t do what he wanted. Lian Jue’s arm wrapped him in the narrow space in front of the door and his hand was still on the door panel. Omega’s strength was not as good as ordinary people’s. He couldn’t open the door, so he could only wait for Lian Jue to move his hand away: “Can you open the door?”
Lian Jue pulled his arm and turned his body back making him face himself again.
Shen Tingwei lowered his eyes and said to Lian Jue, “…I want to sleep.”
“Don’t be mad.” Lian Jue lowered his voice.
Shen Tingwei wanted to say no. Before he even opened his mouth, Lian Jue lowered his head and kissed him.
Lian Jue’s hand on the door board supported Shen Tingwei’s back neck, pressed him into his arms a little and the other hand wrapped around Shen Tingwei’s back waist.
Shen Tingwei was stunned when he was suddenly kissed, his eyelashes trembled and then he slowly closed his eyes.
Lian Jue’s lips were soft but a little cold. Shen Tingwei’s lips were easily separated by him. The tip of his tongue pressed together.
Lian Jue didn’t kiss him fiercely, more like to appease his emotions. They kissed for a long time before he left his lips. But the arms were still wrapped around him, rubbing the spine of his lower back through the pure cotton home clothes.
Lian Jue with his hand on the back of his neck reached out to turn off the light in the room and locked the door.
Only two wall lamps by the bedside were left on in the room, illuminating the bedroom with a soft warm yellow light.
“Aren’t you sleepy?” Lian Jue looked at his slowly opening eyes, “Go to sleep.”
