In the evening, Gao Bohua and Yu Zhao met at a hotel restaurant. As soon as Gao Bohua saw Yu Zhao, he warmly exclaimed, “My dear brother-in-law!”
Yu Zhao suddenly felt uncomfortable and said, “Mr. Gao, let’s talk business.”
Gao Bohua pulled out a chair for him and continued, “I heard you and my brother are finally getting married! I’m so happy for both of you!”
Yu Zhao asked, “Did Qu Jing tell you?”
“No,” Gao Bohua looked a bit troubled, “he wouldn’t talk to me about these things. He’s cold towards me, doesn’t even want to acknowledge me as his brother. It’s hard for me to have a conversation with him. Ah, you must help me.”

Yu Zhao handed the contract to Gao Bohua. As Gao Bohua was about to pick up the pen to sign, he looked at the contract and his face changed dramatically. “Why is there a price increase? this is profiteering!”
“Just now, You said family matters are priceless,” Yu Zhao replied.
“But this is too expensive!” Gao Bohua shook his head repeatedly.
Yu Zhao remained calm and smiled, “It’s absolutely worth it.”
Gao Bohua finally realized, “You planned to increase the price by ten million from the beginning. You initially suggested raising it by twenty million, and now you’re proposing an increase of ten million, making it more acceptable.”
Gao Bohua, after understanding the situation, reluctantly signed the contract and said, “You are indeed my dear brother-in-law!”
After successfully negotiating the deal with Gao Bohua, Yu Zhao left the hotel. As he was walking, his pocket vibrated, and he took out his phone to find a message from Qu Jing: “Why are you out late? Why aren’t you at home?”
Yu Zhao smiled, “Aren’t you in the United States? how do you know I’m not at home?”
Qu Jing replied, “I had someone send you flowers. They said you weren’t at home.”
Yu Zhao found it strange, “Why did you suddenly send me flowers?”
Qu Jing answered, “So you remember me.”
Yu Zhao found it amusing, “It’s not like I would forget you in just a few days.”
“Okay,” Qu Jing said, “then it’s to make sure you remember that I remember you.”
Listening to his somewhat tongue-twisting words, Yu Zhao found it interesting. But because he missed the flowers Qu Jing sent, he quickly drove home, unconsciously humming a tune along the way.
Looking at his smiling face in the rearview mirror, he was startled.
He didn’t even know he was smiling.
When he returned home, he had already suppressed his smile, looking as calm as usual. As soon as he entered, he saw Duan Keyi in the living room, trimming blue forget-me-not flowers with scissors.
Seeing Yu Zhao coming in, Duan Keyi put on a smile, but he squeezed the scissors even more forcefully, and even a blue flower crown fell off.
Looking at the fallen forget-me-not flowers, Yu Zhao asked, “What’s this?”
Duan Keyi said, “Someone came to deliver flowers just now. I don’t know who they’re for.”
Yu Zhao knew that these flowers were definitely sent by Qu Jing. Watching Duan Keyi cut the flowers, he suddenly felt a surge of anger. He impulsively snatched the scissors from Duan Keyi’s hand.
This was the first time he had offended Duan Keyi in such a way, and Duan Keyi was taken aback.

Duan Keyi said, “It should be one of the maids.”

Yu Zhao, however, picked up the whole bouquet of flowers and walked downstairs with large strides. Yu Zhao didn’t say anything, just stared at them coldly, resembling a spoiled young master. The two maids dared not lift their heads. Seeing Yu Zhao daring to show authority in front of him, Duan Keyi couldn’t help but feel angry. He said, “Zhao, don’t make things difficult for them. Do you plan to fire them?”
Yu Zhao glanced at Duan Keyi and said, “I don’t have that authority in this house. It’s not like you all don’t know”
With that, he left, holding the flowers.
Both Duan Keyi and the two maids were shocked. They never expected him to say such a thing!
