Yu Zhao returned to the country.
Upon returning in the morning, he went straight to the company.
This was in line with his usual style.
As soon as he arrived at the company, he saw Yu Hai chatting happily with an OMEGA. The OMEGA had a peach fragrance all over, sweet and lovely, and looked very cute, reminding Yu Zhao of Xia Ling for a moment.
Hua Yao warned Yu Zhao, “That OMEGA resembles Xia Ling… a very flirtatious OMEGA. I don’t think he’ll let you off easily… as your ‘client.’”
Yu Zhao, however, said, “I’m not worried about that.”
“Why?” Hua Yao asked in surprise. “Although I don’t like Xia Ling, I have to admit he’s quite charming as an OMEGA.”
Yu Zhao replied, “But he looks stupid.”
Helplessly, Hua Yao said, “ALPHAs don’t care about intelligence when choosing OMEGAs! Sometimes, ALPHAs even like those who seem a bit foolish. Don’t be too confident.”
Yu Zhao calmly said, “But Qu Jing left Xia Ling and came with me to my room.”
“Well…” Hua Yao hesitated for a moment and said, “Maybe he had Xia Ling first and then came to you?”
Yu Zhao was stunned and after a moment said, “Is that… is that possible?”
Hua Yao quickly said, “With his potent ALPHA scent, entirely possible.”
Yu Zhao had nothing to say.
After a while, Hua Yao had to say, “Anyway, this society is too good to ALPHAs and too harsh on OMEGAs. Be careful, and you’ll be fine!”
Yu Zhao also thought the same.
His younger ALPHA brother and father were naturally favored by nature.
Yu Hai, not young anymore but well-maintained, looked young, and his pheromones were still as usual. He was chatting with the peach-scented OMEGA, and their pheromones intertwined.
Although Yu Zhao frowned, he still walked over casually and said to Yu Hai, “Father.”
Seeing his son, Yu Hai smiled, “You’re back?”
“Yeah.” Yu Zhao nodded, glanced lightly at the peach-scented OMEGA, as if looking at a plant, without much emotion.
“Mr. Zhao, hello,” the peach-scented OMEGA, named Xia Tao, bowed to Yu Zhao and said, “I’m the new intern, Xia Tao.”
“Xia Tao?” Yu Zhao thought of “Xia Ling” again.

“Nothing.” Yu Zhao said, “It suits you very well.”
“Yeah, I think so too.” Yu Hai smiled, “Little Tao has a peach scent all over, smells really good.”
Yu Zhao nodded, exchanged a few pleasantries, and then went back to his office. He opened his laptop and quickly located the positions of Xia Tao and Yu Hai on his computer through the company’s surveillance. They wandered outside for a while and then entered Yu Hai’s exclusive office. They hadn’t come out for half an hour.
Yu Hai’s office naturally didn’t have surveillance, but even without opening the Divine Eye system, Yu Zhao could figure out what they were doing inside. Yu Zhao understood, immediately called the administrative department, and said, “Let Yong go to Director Hai’s office.”
So, Yu Zhao watched as Yu Yong appeared at the door of Yu Hai’s office and knocked.
“Who says ALPHAs are intelligent?” Yu Zhao sneered and closed the surveillance window.
After a while, Xiao Qi knocked on his office door, joyfully saying, “Yu Yong got scolded by Director Hai!”
“Really?” Yu Zhao acted indifferent. “Do you know what happened?”
“Not really,” Xiao Qi said, “It seems like Yu Yong made a mistake when reporting to Director Hai.”
Yu Zhao chuckled and said, “Is that so? He’s made mistakes before, but why did he get scolded this time?”
“Yeah,” Xiao Qi couldn’t figure it out either. “It’s really strange.”
Yu Zhao waved his hand, saying, “Don’t bother about it. It’s just a small matter.”
Xiao Qi didn’t bring up the topic again and asked, “Did you gain anything from the trip to the United States?”
Yu Zhao didn’t know if he had gained anything, thought for a moment, and said, “It’s okay, I and Mr. Qu gained a deeper understanding of each other.”
Listening to this official statement, Xiao Qi didn’t understand.
Yu Zhao didn’t elaborate on how he and Qu Jing had a deeper understanding. He lowered his head and continued working.
After working for a while, the administrative department brought Xia Tao over, saying that Xia Tao had been assigned to work as an intern with Yu Zhao.
Yu Zhao raised his eyebrows, looked at Xia Tao, but saw a peach color in the corners of his eyes, and there was a subtle change in the scent of his pheromones—usually, Yu Zhao wouldn’t notice this difference, but now, he understood. Rubbing his forehead, he thought, “It seems that father and Xia Tao did something, and it was discovered by Yu Yong. Unexpectedly, facing such an embarrassing situation, father still wants to keep Xia Tao in the company.”
Yu Zhao nodded and said in a calm tone, “Okay, Xiao Qi, take Xia Tao to get familiar with the environment.”
Xiao Qi didn’t understand the intricacies and just took Xia Tao away, treating him like an ordinary intern.
Now, only Yu Zhao was left in the office. After dealing with some work documents, he felt some indescribable emotions. Unconsciously, he picked up his phone and wanted to send a message to Qu Jing.
But he was afraid of appearing too eager.
Unexpectedly, the moment he shook his phone, someone sent him a message.
“Qu Jing: Are you free tomorrow night?”
Yu Zhao’s heart skipped a beat and replied, “I’m free.”
“At Riverside Hotel, Room A788.”
Yu Zhao’s heart thumped, unsure of how to respond. He then called Hua Yao over the phone for advice, “Is this a message for an appointment?”
Hua Yao said, “Of course, it’s an appointment, what else could it be?”
“Well…”
