Stand-in Relationship - Chap 120
He Yang hid a smile and leaned down slightly, “Do you need a lulling service?”
Xu Chengyan was a little unhappy and shrank back into the quilt again.
“Don’t be bored yourself in it.” He Yang pulled the quilt down.
Xu Chengyan was silent, his eyes wide open, staring at the figure beside the bed.
He Yang sorted out the quilt on the youth and asked again, “Did the little kid not eat today?”
Xu Chengyan shifted his gaze and casually said, “I have no appetite.”
He Yang frowned slightly when he heard this.
In the end, He Yang said, “Rest first.”
Xu Chengyan answered, turned his back to He Yang, covered the blanket tightly, and closed his eyes to rest.
He Yang was on the side, quietly staring at the youth on the bed, and saw that the youth was in a curled up position, seemingly a little cold.
So He Yang got up and took off the coat he was wearing.
Xu Chengyan also noticed the rustling sound of He Yang’s side and when he opened his eyes, he saw an extra coat on the quilt.
The coat was still tainted with the cold scent of “Full Moon” and it smelled very comfortable.
Xu Chengyan smelled the perfume and closed his eyes again.
The room was quiet and Xu Chengyan’s body gradually relaxed, unconsciously falling asleep.
By the time Xu Chengyan woke up from his nap, it was already night.
The room was still dimly lit, and only the small lamps on the walls were still on.
Xu Chengyan looked to the side and saw a figure sitting by the bed, recognising it as his manager.
His body was still a little warm, and Xu Chengyan moved his body, feeling a tightness in his chest, as if something was pressed against him.
When Xu Chengyan reached out and touched his hand, he found that he was covered with two quilts, no wonder his chest was stuffy from the pressure and his body was still hot and sweaty.
Xu Chengyan quickly lifted the covers and sat up from the bed, and looked around again. He didn’t see He Yang that he has already left.
The manager at the side saw that Xu Chengyan was awake and came over to ask, “Are you hungry?”
Xu Chengyan was a little dazed from his sleep, and his voice was hoarse: “What time is it?”
The manager brought the thermos over and said, “It’s 7:30 pm.”
Xu Chengyan took the cup and took a sip, his throat was feeling better.
The manager asked again, “Do you want something to eat?”
Xu Chengyan also felt a little hungry, so he nodded.
So the manager got up and went out to help buy dinner.
Xu Chengyan leaned on the edge of the bed, took his phone and played with it, waiting for his manager.
Ten minutes or so later, Xu Chengyan heard footsteps coming from the corridor.
Soon after, the door to the ward was pushed open.
Xu Chengyan looked up and saw that it was He Yang who had arrived.
He Yang was carrying a takeaway in his hand and put it on the small table next to the bed, “Eat something first.”
Xu Chengyan padded over, looked at the lunch box and took his chopsticks to eat.
