The next day, Xu Chengyan woke up early in the morning and was going to the set.
He Yang was still in bed, watching Xu Chengyan busy in his room and asked, “When will you be back in the evening?”
“I’m not sure.” Xu Chengyan was still changing his clothes.
He Yang: “Then I’ll come to visit the shooting.”
“No need, I only have one scene today.” Xu Chengyan put on his jacket, came to the bedside and leaned over to hug He Yang, giving him a soothing kiss on his cheek, “I’ll be back at noon.”
He Yang let out a soft sigh and raised his arm around the youth’s waist, said nothing more.
He Yang leaned against the youth’s neck, helpless for a moment.
Xu Chengyan stroked He Yang’s head and said, “I’ll be back when I finish work.”
He Yang responded.
The two hugged quietly for a while before they separated.
Xu Chengyan left the hotel and went to the film set.
People came to the set. Xu Chengyan went to the dressing room to do the styling first.
He had a little scene today, and if it went well, he might be able to finish shooting early at around eleven o’clock.
Xu Chengyan thought, and took out his phone to search for snack shops nearby, thinking whether he should go for hot pot or Japanese barbecue with He Yang for lunch.
It just so happened that the weather was good today, not too cold and not too hot, so he could still do some shopping in the afternoon. Xu Chengyan had almost arranged his plans for the afternoon, and was waiting to call it a day.
However, during the filming, there was still a problem and the director temporarily adjusted the filming order, and forward the next scene to today.
Xu Chengyan looked at the script and saw that the scene was very complicated and would take several hours to shoot. Taking advantage of the break time, Xu Chengyan hid himself in the lounge and called He Yang.
“My scene have temporarily changed and I have another one this afternoon, so I guess I’ll be late.” Xu Chengyan explained.
The phone was quiet for a few seconds before a man’s voice came through.
Xu Chengyan: “I’ll try to come back as early as possible.”
“It’s okay.”
Hanging up the phone, Xu Chengyan heard his manager calling out to him outside. So he got up first and went out to work.
It was not until five o’clock in the evening that the crew finally wrapped up.
However, after the crew wrapped up, the director said that he would invite everyone to dinner again.
Director: “It’s been a hard day’s work! I’ll treat you all to dinner tonight!”
The crew cheered and packed up their things and prepared to set off.
Xu Chengyan originally wanted to go back to company He Yang, but the director wanted to treat him to a dinner and he couldn’t refuse, so he sent a message to He Yang, saying that he would eat out tonight.
Xu Chengyan went back to the lounge and changed his clothes, then followed the group to the restaurant. It just so happened that the director’s treat this time was at that Japanese barbecue restaurant.
Xu Chengyan ate the barbecue and messaged He Yang, saying that he could come over for barbecue next time.
The atmosphere at the table was lively, with several other main actors sparring with the director.
