Strawberry Pop Pop Pop - Chap 102
Chap 102
The next day, 7 o’clock in the morning.
Su Li gently lifted the covers and hadn’t gotten out of bed when he was suddenly grabbed
by the arm by Liang Xie.
Liang Xie first loosened his grip and sat up on his own. The scent of cotton candy on his
body was faintly present. Su Li could smell it, and his heart skipped a beat unconsciously,
his ears turning red: “I have a class this morning. You should sleep a bit more; it’s still
early.”
Liang Xie moved his lips sleepily, “I’m not sleepy. Have breakfast first before you go.”
“Alright.” Su Li blinked and stared at Liang Xie’s lips. He was still immersed in their first
kiss from nine hours ago, unable to pull himself away.
Slowly, the shyness behind Su Li’s ears spread to his face: “Yesterday…”
“Hmm?” Liang Xie looked at him.
“Can we sleep together often from now on?” Su Li said shyly, “Because you said yesterday
that anything I wanted to do, I could do it with you.” He needed to confirm whether this
statement was real or just a fleeting dream.
Liang Xie said without hesitation, “Of course, we can.”
Both of Su Li’s eyes lit up, shining like spring amber. His hair was messy at the back of his
head, and in Liang Xie’s eyes, he couldn’t have looked more adorable.
Liang Xie supported himself onto the wheelchair while Su Li put on his socks.
The two of them finished getting ready and went to the dining room.
Since Su Li’s class was the first period that day, Zhang Jie had to wake up even earlier at
Liang Xie’s request to prepare a breakfast that Su Li would like.
She looked at Su Li, who came out of the bedroom with Liang Xie, and couldn’t help but cast
a disdainful glance. Even if nothing had happened between Su Li and Liang Xie, in Zhang
Jie’s eyes, she assumed that Su Li had made advances.
Su Li keenly noticed this and gave Zhang Jie a loving, pitiful look. “Is Zhang Jie not fully
awake yet? Maybe you should catch some more sleep later; it’s hard work preparing
breakfast.”
Zhang Jie: “…”
Zhang Jie: “Mr. Su, this is all part of my job.”
She looked down on this poor and ordinary omega who clung to a cripple. Did he really
think he was the owner of this apartment?
But on the surface, Zhang Jie still wore a friendly and kind smile. “Mr. Liang, Mr. Su, please
eat while it’s hot; it will get cold soon.”
Liang Xie didn’t even look at Zhang Jie and said, “Zhang Jie, call a car in fifteen minutes.”
“Alright, Mr. Liang, are you going out?”
“It’s not for me.” Liang Xie placed a small dumpling into Su Li’s bowl and said gently, “The
school is too far from here, and every time I ask you to take a taxi, you refuse.”
Su Li felt like he had just been pulled out of a honey jar. He smiled and said, “Taking a taxi is
too expensive. I can ride a shared bicycle to the subway station; it’s not far.” He took a bite
of the dumpling, almost burning his tongue.
Liang Xie kept his gaze on him and said anxiously, “Be careful not to burn yourself.”
Su Li finally managed to swallow the bite in his mouth and said, “Don’t call a car for me.
Today, I can hitch a ride with Gu Nuan; he also has an early class.”
“He bought a car?”
“Yeah, his dad bought him a sports car.” Su Li talked about the car, and his excitement was
almost palpable. “It’s as expensive as a set of houses in my family, so luxurious! From now
on, whenever I have an early class, I’ll hitch a ride to school with him!”
It seemed like he intended to stay here for a while.
Liang Xie didn’t mind, and his main concern wasn’t whether Su Li would stay or not; he
asked, “If you want a car, I can buy one for you too.”
This time, Su Li almost choked on the dumpling.
Zhang Jie, who was nearby, took a sharp breath, thinking, “Just a few nights of sleeping
together, and now he gets a sports car.”
Su Li covered his mouth and grabbed a tissue. “No, I don’t want one. Why do I need a car?
It’s like designer bags – people with style can make a fake one look real, and someone like
me, even with a real one, it looks fake. No, no, not practical.”
“How about I buy you a different car model, something more low-key, like…”
Before Liang Xie could finish his sentence, Su Li promptly refused, “I have a terrible sense
of direction, I won’t even drive it if you buy it for me.”
Su Li knew that Liang Xie had money, but he also knew that Liang Xie had been through a
lot in recent years. Besides arranging this apartment and hiring an incompetent house help,
his mother hadn’t been particularly involved in Liang Xie’s life. The money Liang Xie had
now was mostly earned through his own efforts, not a gift from the heavens.
Su Li hurriedly devoured two dumplings, drank half a bowl of soy milk, and despite Liang
Xie’s objections, he dashed to the entrance. “I’ll be back after class, see you at noon!” Just as
he was about to close the door, he poked his head out from behind it, his smile bright, “I’ll
buy you bubble tea today!”
His tone was full of happiness, sounding like a boy in love.
“S… Su…”
The door closed.
Liang Xie couldn’t stop him, chuckled, and sighed slightly as he looked at the breakfast on
the table. “Clean up.”
Seeing that there was hardly any food touched on the table, Zhang Jie asked, “Has Mr. Liang
already eaten?”
After Zhang Jie finished cleaning up, Liang Xie suddenly said in the living room, “Zhang Jie,
this month’s salary and compensation will be transferred to your account. You can leave
now, and you don’t have to come back.”
Zhang Jie was bewildered and almost couldn’t react. She hastily said, “Mr. Liang, what do
you mean? If I’ve done something wrong, you can tell me.”
“Zhang Jie, even though I may move out of this apartment later on, wherever I live, Su Li
will always be the other shared owner.”
Liang Xie made it clear.
Zhang Jie’s face turned pale in an instant. She didn’t want to lose this profitable job and
desperately tried to salvage the situation. “Mr. Liang, I know I was wrong. I may have been
a bit negligent in my treatment of Mr. Su. But, I had no ill intentions. I did everything you
asked me to do. Besides, I’m your mother’s…”
“I’ve talked to my mother about it, and she doesn’t have any objections,” Liang Xie
interrupted Zhang Jie, not wanting to hear more.
Liang Xie wasn’t oblivious to Zhang Jie’s daily actions. He had chosen not to say anything
earlier because he didn’t care about those minor transgressions. As long as Zhang Jie didn’t
cross his bottom line and didn’t make any significant mistakes, he didn’t mind her taking
shortcuts or gaining small advantages.
However, during this period, Liang Xie was not blind or deaf.
Zhang Jie’s various offenses against Su Li had made him very unhappy, and what irritated
him the most was that Su Li never reported it. Sometimes, Zhang Jie would talk back, and
Su Li would just dismiss it and forget it.
Liang Xie couldn’t forget. Zhang Jie, a housekeeper, had indeed been “indulged” too much
by him.
After Zhang Jie left, Liang Xie returned to his bedroom. He hadn’t slept well last night, and
his head was throbbing. He was about to rest on the bed for a while when his phone
suddenly vibrated.
Liang Xie reached for it, and upon seeing the name displayed, his tired expression
deepened.
After a moment of hesitation, Liang Xie slowly answered the call.
It was his mother, Liang Fenying, calling. Her attitude was as cold as ever. “Liang Xie.”
Liang Xie paused. It had been so many years that he had almost forgotten the sound of
Liang Fenying’s voice.
He replied, “Is there something you need?”
At this moment, Liang Fenying was standing outside the apartment building. Her
sunglasses obscured most of her face, and her voice was devoid of any emotion. “This is the
apartment under my name. Have you removed my fingerprint?”
