Strawberry Pop Pop Pop - Chap 63
Chap 63
Ji Mu sat on the sofa in the living room, rubbing his temples with a headache and closing his
eyes. In front of him, Gu Nuan and Han Yang stood obediently, as if waiting for him to
recover.
Poor Ji Mu couldn’t recover his composure for a while, and he stuttered, “You two…”
Gu Nuan stood up straight, chest puffed out, looking ready to face any challenges and
protect his beloved Alpha.
Ji Mu opened his eyes and saw Gu Nuan’s expression, leaving him at a loss for words. He
took a deep breath and leaned back on the sofa, feeling dizzy, probably due to hunger. Then
he asked, “Don’t you have anything to say to me?”
Han Yang nodded and picked up a glass of water from the coffee table. “Uncle Ji, have some
water first.”
Gu Nuan added, “Yes, Dad, have some water to calm down.”
Ji Mu weakly took the glass and took a sip.
“Dad, are you feeling better now?” Gu Nuan asked softly.
Ji Mu raised his eyes and looked at Gu Nuan in a bewildered manner, as if saying, “Do you
think I can recover from this? Working on a project all night was thrilling enough, but
coming home to see my two sons suddenly being intimate is even more shocking.”
Even though Ji Mu approved of their relationship, the impact was still significant.
Originally, Ji Mu didn’t have time to come back for lunch, but after careful consideration, he
realized he had not seen Han Yang in a long time and missed him. Luckily, the work on
hand was almost done and could be taken home, so he rushed back to the villa.
At the entrance, there were two pairs of shoes. The larger worn-out ones belonged to Han
Yang, and the smaller, newer ones belonged to Gu Nuan.
Ji Mu noticed that the back of Han Yang’s sneakers was a bit worn, So he placed an order on
his phone to buy Han Yang a new pair of shoes.
Auntie Xu had just returned from the supermarket and was surprised to see Ji Mu. She said,
“Sir, didn’t you say you wouldn’t be back for lunch?”
“I missed my children, so I came back to see them.”
“Indeed, the young master hasn’t been back in a long time. It seems that he has grown even
closer to the little young master now; they’ve been sticking together all the time!”
“I guess it’s because of Xiao Nuan’s influence on Han Yang again.” Ji Mu shook his head; he
still hadn’t eaten. “Xu Jie, please prepare some food for me, something simple will do, I’m
too hungry.”
“Sure, I’ll go now.”
Ji Mu looked around, and there was no one in the living room downstairs or in the garden.
At first, he didn’t think of going to the study, but out of habit, he went to Gu Nuan’s room,
knocked on the door, got no response, and then opened the door, but no one was there.
Next, he went to Han Yang’s room, but again, no one was there.
Ji Mu was puzzled, he called out a couple of times, but got no response.
The villa was large, with many guest rooms and activity rooms. Ji Mu was starving and
didn’t have the energy to search each room one by one. He still had work materials in his
hand, so he thought of going to the study first to put them down.
Little did he know, as soon as he opened the door, he was utterly shocked.
He quickly closed the door, trapping himself outside.
There was a commotion inside the room.
A few seconds later, the door to the study opened.
It was opened by Han Yang, his ears were bright red, and he nervously called out, “Uncle Ji.”
Following him, a small head peeked out from behind Han Yang, its face turning red, and it
shyly tugged at Han Yang’s clothes. “Hi, Dad.” It was clear that Gu Nuan’s hair was messy,
obviously tousled during the kiss. One could only imagine how intense that kiss was and
how shocking it must have been for Ji Mu.
Ji Mu was almost “petrified.”
Worried that Ji Mu might misunderstand, Gu Nuan added fuel to the fire and bravely said,
“Hi, Dad, my brother and I are dating.”
…
Thinking back to the awkward scene just now, Ji Mu couldn’t even drink his water. He set
down the glass and stared at Gu Nuan, then glanced at Han Yang.
Han Yang took the initiative and said, “Uncle Ji, we decided to start dating since last night.”
Gu Nuan nodded, taking all the responsibility upon himself and added, “I pursued him; it
was my initiative.”
Ji Mu looked at his own son, who was now fiercely protective of his partner. He sighed
slightly, feeling a mix of emotions, especially since he was quite hungry, leaving him
speechless at the moment.
“Dad, you won’t object, will you?” Gu Nuan was anxious, grabbing Han Yang’s hand, feeling
the weight of this hard-won relationship. Frowning, he said without hesitation, “Anyway, I
only love him. I’m only with him. If you don’t agree, I’ll live a lonely life with only him!”
Before Ji Mu could react, Han Yang sensibly stopped Gu Nuan from saying such things. He
said to Ji Mu, “Uncle Ji, I know this is quite sudden. Gu Nuan and I didn’t intend to keep it
from you. We originally planned to wait for uncle Gu to return and then seek your approval
together.”
“…”
Seeing Ji Mu on the verge of passing out, Han Yang tightened his resolve and said earnestly,
“I am serious about Gu Nuan; I’ve liked him for a long time. From now on, I will protect him
and love him wholeheartedly.”
Hearing this unexpected confession, Gu Nuan suddenly raised his head. He saw Han Yang
confidently holding his hand, giving it a squeeze, and then kneeling in front of Ji Mu.
Ji Mu was almost startled out of his wits. “?”
At this moment, Aunt Xu, holding a bowl of soup noodles, was shocked when she saw this
scene. She was used to Ji Mu indulging and protecting the children, but now he had actually
made Han Yang kneel on the ground?! She thought something major had happened in the
family, so she hurriedly placed the soup noodles on the dining table and discreetly went
back to the kitchen.
She thought to herself: “If I can’t hear or see anything, it’s the best way to protect my job.”
“Brother!”
Gu Nuan didn’t expect Han Yang to kneel, and he got scared for a moment. With a “thump,”
he also knelt down. Han Yang was worried that Gu Nuan would hurt his knees, so he picked
up a cushion from the sofa and placed it under Gu Nuan’s knees.
Gu Nuan didn’t mind the pain in his knees; what mattered most was getting the approval of
their parents for this relationship. He looked sincerely distressed, tears hanging from his
eyelashes, and he spoke emotionally, “Dad, if you don’t agree to me dating Brother, I’ll be
heartbroken! I’ve liked Brother since I was a child, and our feelings for each other are
genuine!”
“…”
Han Yang gritted his teeth and mustered the courage to say, “Uncle Ji, I know I’ve let you
and Uncle Gu down by doing this. I also understand that I’m not worthy of Gu Nuan yet, but
I’ll work hard, hoping you can agree to us dating. I’ll always be good to Gu Nuan and cherish
him for the rest of my life.”
“Brother…” Gu Nuan choked up; he hadn’t expected Han Yang to love him so much.
He swore that if Ji Mu didn’t agree to them being together, he wouldn’t get up from this
kneeling position!
But it seemed like reality was different.
“Wait!” Ji Mu couldn’t help but interrupt them, looking utterly puzzled and annoyed by the
two of them, “Who said I’m trying to break you up?!”
Han Yang was stunned, and Gu Nuan’s tears and runny nose were already streaming down
his face, completely at odds with his handsome appearance.
Ji Mu sighed and massaged his temples.
Gu Nuan sobbed as he spoke, “Then why are you making that expression? Say something…”
Ji Mu sighed, “I’m starving. I haven’t eaten anything since yesterday afternoon.”
Gu Nuan: “…”
Han Yang: “…”
Seeing an opportunity, Gu Nuan asked anxiously, “Dad, so, you don’t object, right?”
Ji Mu hugged himself, first looking at the pitiful crying Gu Nuan and then at the determined
Han Yang. He asked seriously, “Han Yang, you’ve already gone this far… Are you sure you’re
not dating Nuan just because he pestered you and you finally gave in?”
In his heart, Ji Mu already understood Han Yang’s feelings, but he couldn’t help but ask one
more question before fully reassuring himself.
Without hesitation, Han Yang replied, “I am sure.”
Ji Mu felt a sense of relief, stood up, and said, “You two get up quickly, stop acting like
you’re in a TV drama. I’ll go eat something first.” As he passed by Han Yang, he paused for a
moment, then patted Han Yang’s shoulder and said gently, “Get up quickly, or Nuan will cry
himself silly.”
With that, Ji Mu headed towards the dining room. With his back to the two kids, a smile
unconsciously formed at the corner of his mouth.
As he ate the bowl of soup noodles before him, Ji Mu discovered an exquisite flavor,
possibly due to Auntie Xu’s improved cooking skills. While eating, he messaged Gu
Yuanchen: [I have some good news and some bad news. Which one do you want to hear
first?]
Gu Yuanchen was clearly in a meeting but replied instantly: [Can you tell me both at the
same time?]
Ji Mu replied intentionally: [Then let’s start with the good news. Our two sons are in love
with each other. The bad news is that it seems Nuan is a bit of a fool in love. Fortunately,
he’s in love with Han Yang; otherwise, I’d be really worried.]
Gu Yuanchen: […]
Gu Yuanchen focused on the key point: [Being a fool in love shouldn’t affect the family
business, right?]
Ji Mu jokingly replied: [It didn’t affect you, so I don’t think it will affect Nuan.]
