Subordinate Doting - Chap 7
With just this sentence, He Zhuo’s tears instantly fell.
He cried silently, his ears filled with the pounding of his own heartbeat. Everything in front of him suddenly became blurry. The sunset, snow-capped mountains and bonfire became the background, and Ji Tingyu was the only clear focus.
He has a dusk filter on him, like tipsy stars.
He Zhuo looked at him almost greedily, taking in his slender fingers, his narrow waist, his perky buttocks sitting on the black leather seat, and that romantic and unrestrained face that he had only seen once in his previous life…
His heart almost stopped beating, and his mouth and nose seemed to be tightly covered by pieces of wet paper. Even if he tried his best to breathe, he couldn’t get a single breath of oxygen.
Just when his lungs were about to explode, the paper covering his face was suddenly pulled away! Large streams of air rushed into his mouth and nose like crazy – this was the only feeling He Zhuo had the moment he saw Ji Tingyu: a feeling of being reborn.
The frozen time began to flow again, snowflakes mixed with raindrops fell from the sky, forming a curtain of snow on the eyelashes of the two people.
Ji Tingyu looked at the strange alpha crying in front of him with confusion – he was dressed in a way that didn’t fit in here, as if he came from another world. He had a handsome face that was freezingly cold, but he looked so sad and desperate, and his whole body was shrouded in a strong sense of fate.
For some reason, Ji Tingyu felt as if his heart was being pulled up, and there was a slight pain.
The snow on his eyelashes melted into water, and his eyes looking at He Zhuo turned into a rainy lake in the drizzle.
He Zhuo thought that all his faith in this life grew wildly from those eyes.
”Do I remind you of anyone? You look sad.”
”I’m…looking for my lover.”
”He’s missing? You can give me the photo and I’ll ask someone to keep an eye out for you.” Ji Tingyu lowered his head and took out his cell phone.
”I think I’ve found him…”
He Zhuo grabbed his hand, his wet eyes revealing an almost crazy obsession.
The author has something to say:
Yu: Do you know how cliché your pick-up skills are?
He: I’m sorry, I haven’t rehearsed this scene in my mind.
Yu: Why?
He: Because you never come into my dreams.
Chapter 3: The way you look at your prey
Ji Tingyu stood there in a daze.
He swore that if anyone else had said that to him, he would have beaten that person up out of embarrassment.
But when these words came out of the lips of the man in front of him, he felt as if a hand was teasing him in the heart.
Is it the color? Why do his eyes look so soulful? Like a gem that carries a sad story.
This kind of look combined with his hoarse voice made every word he uttered become a beautiful love poem.
Ji Tingyu couldn’t help but build a suitable background for him in his mind – probably a mixed-race male star with a strong complexion, shooting a love tragedy movie with a gray-green filter in a rainy and grassy town in West Frisia.
As to why it is a tragedy.
——Because he looked so widowed! The first time Ji Tingyu saw him, he felt that his wife must have died not long ago.
But now it seems that this is just his way of chatting me up? And I was really fooled.
Tsk…
Ji Tingyu felt a little frustrated, as if he was a cat pinned to the ground with no power to fight back, but his young and useless desire to win made him not want to lose at any time.
He stretched out his fingers to form a V, held the man’s chin, and looked at him frivolously: “Although your eyes are indeed sexy, I get hit on dozens of times a year, and you are the most old-fashioned one.”
So you should quit while you are ahead.
But the man’s next move was beyond his expectations.
He Zhuo tilted his head slightly and pressed his face into Ji Tingyu’s palm.
His eyes became even wetter, and his Adam’s apple slid up and down very slowly, looking so cautious and greedy that it made people feel that he had longed for this touch for many, many years.
”If you like my eyes, I can keep them looking at you.”
He Zhuo’s voice is as cold as the snow-capped mountains, just like the mournful tune flowing from a cello that has been traveling on the waves for decades, sexy and charming.
Ji Tingyu cursed inwardly, because he felt his heart being grabbed again, “You should let go.”
If you can’t beat them, just quit. You can’t just pounce on them and bite them like a cat.
Fortunately, He Zhuo did not insist and let go immediately.
But–
Ji Tingyu looked down at his left hand holding the phone: “The other one.”
Damn it, why was I not on guard at all this time and had both my hands clamped without even noticing?
He Zhuo smiled and did as he was told. When he let go of his hand, his fingertips seemed to accidentally touch the small round bone on his wrist.
Ji Tingyu felt it, but he didn’t want to care about it anymore, otherwise who knows what this outrageous man will say next.
He really couldn’t stand someone reading love poems to him with eyes like that.
Ji Tingyu got out of the car and left.
”I was robbed.” He Zhuo’s voice sounded behind him.
What does that have to do with me? It wasn’t me who did it!
”Where was it stolen?” Ji Tingyu didn’t know why he turned around.
”At the entrance to the station, a boy told me that he hadn’t eaten for a long time. I said I was sorry, I hadn’t eaten for a long time either. Then he shared half a baguette with me. I was wondering how to thank him, and he helped me think of a way – when I came back from the toilet, he had disappeared with my backpack and all my equipment.”
”Hahaha, those are habitual thieves who specialize in stealing fat sheep from other places like you.” Ji Tingyu laughed ostentatiously, and his profile shrouded in the sunset showed a creamy and delicate luster, making people unable to control the urge to pounce on it and lick it carefully.
He Zhuo’s Adam’s apple rolled down silently.
”The things can’t be recovered. I’ll have someone help you keep an eye out for anyone selling your ID on the black market.” Ji Tingyu took out a handful of banknotes from his pocket and handed them to him.
