When it was almost dark, Chu Feng started to make dinner. After the food was on the table, he went to wake Luo ZhouZhou up. He gently patted Luo ZhouZhou’s shoulder and called his name, “Zhou Zhou.”
Luo ZhouZhou opened his eyes in a daze, mumbled, and asked, “Is it morning yet?”
Chu Feng said, “It’s time for dinner.”
Luo ZhouZhou opened his mouth slightly and was stunned for a while before responding, asking, “Did I sleep all day?”
“Yeah, you slept all day, so it’s time for you to eat,” Chu Feng replied.
Luo ZhouZhou scratched his face, “Then I’m too lazy, if Qi Fen were here, he would scold me to death.”
Chu Feng smiled and touched his head, saying, “Then get up and eat.”
Luo ZhouZhou sat up and Chu Feng bent down to give him his shoes. He looked at his side and asked in surprise, “Why are there so many of your clothes on the bed? The quilt’s also like this?”
Chu Feng’s hands faltered, and he continued to put his shoes on, saying, “Don’t you remember?”
Luo ZhouZhou froze, tilted his head and began to remember.
Chu Feng straightened up and looked at him.
“It seems I was the one who dragged your clothes here and rolled up the blanket.” Luo ZhouZhou blushed a little and said, “I’m starting to feel a little dizzy.
Chu Feng said, “It’s okay, let’s go, let’s eat.”
When he arrived at the dining room, Luo ZhouZhou saw the table of food from a distance. He walked quickly to the table and asked in surprise, “Is there a guest in the house? Why is it so rich?”
Chu Feng said, “There are no guests, just the two of us.”
Luo ZhouZhou happily walked to the table, looked at it, picked up the bowl and started to serve the chicken soup. When it was full, he carefully brought it over to Chu Feng, and said, “Drink it before it gets cold. You’ve worked hard.”
“Thank you.” Chu Feng smiled.
Luo ZhouZhou filled another bowl for himself, lifted his chopsticks, and asked, “Can we eat now?”
“Yes.”
The food smelled good, and Luo ZhouZhou ate cheerfully, while Chu Feng watched him from the side, picking up a chopstick of food from time to time and putting it in his bowl.
“Eat more,” Chu Feng said.
Only then did Luo ZhouZhou notice that the food in front of Chu Feng’s bowl had not yet been touched, and said, “You should eat too.”
“Okay.” Chu Feng responded, and put another chicken leg into Luo ZhouZhou’s bowl.
When the meal was finished, Luo ZhouZhou plopped down on the chair and squinted his eyes. Chu Feng looked at him for a long time and then asked, “Do you want to go rest?”
Luo ZhouZhou shook his head and said, “I’ve slept all day, I don’t want to sleep, I want to watch a movie.”
“Then go watch it first. I’ll clean up the place and go with you.”
“I’ll help you.” Luo ZhouZhou stood up to get the bowl, but Chu Feng quickly stopped him.
“You go sit and watch the movie, I’ll do it.”
Chu Feng washed the dishes in a distracted manner, frequently turning back to Luo ZhouZhou. Luo ZhouZhou, however, was now energetic and was watching the movie with great interest and laughter. He turned back to look at Chu Feng, and just happened to bump into Chu Feng looking at him, and said excitedly, “How much longer? Can I help you? Finish early and watch a movie together.”
“Right away, don’t move, just sit down.” Chu Feng was busy speeding up his actions. After cleaning up the kitchen, he cut up a plate of fruit and put it out in front of Luo ZhouZhou, saying, “Eat while you watch.”
“Thank you.” Luo ZhouZhou smiled at him, scooped up a piece of peach, put it in his mouth, and his eyes lit up, “It’s so sweet.”
He picked up another piece and put it in Chu Feng’s mouth.
Chu Feng bit into the peach, saw that Luo ZhouZhou continued to watch the movie, and asked imploringly, “Zhou Zhou, do you need my clothes? Or quilts? Or let me hold you?”
Luo ZhouZhou was laughing at the projection and said without turning around, “No, I’m not cold.” Afterwards, he turned to Chu Feng and asked knowingly, “Do you want me to hug you?”
Without waiting for Chu Feng’s answer, he leaned forward and gave him a hug, pecked him on the mouth a few times, and said soothingly, “I’ll give you a good hug when I finish watching the movie.”
Chu Feng watched as Luo ZhouZhou turned back around and laughed at the movie with a complicated look. He leaned back on the couch, opened the terminal he had turned off, ignored the missed calls and messages, and quickly typed in “fake heat” and “pre-heat signs disappearing” and clicked search.
But the content was so diverse that he couldn’t find anything like it after a long day of searching, so he closed the terminal. It was late at night, and Luo ZhouZhou was still watching a movie. But this one had just ended, the end credits had just started, and the 3D projection was gone.
“What happened? All of a sudden it’s gone?” He was surprised and asked Chu Feng, who was next to him.
Chu Feng slipped the remote control into the crevice of the couch cushion and said, “Maybe the signal is gone. How about going to bed? It’s one o’clock already.”
“Wow, it’s one o’clock,” Luo ZhouZhou exclaimed. “I didn’t realize it was already one o’clock.”
“Yeah, so you should go to bed now,” Chu Feng said.
Luo ZhouZhou blinked at him and said, “But I’m not tired at all.”
Chu Feng sighed and rested his head on the back of the sofa, “It’s my fault for letting you sleep too much during the day.”
“So what should we do?” Luo ZhouZhou asked.
Chu Feng stared at the ceiling and followed with, “Yeah, what should we do?”
He looked sideways at Luo ZhouZhou again, “Want to watch more movies?”
Luo ZhouZhou hesitated and said, “I don’t want to watch it. I can only watch two movies a day. I will forget what they were about if I watch too many.”
Chu Feng looked at him for a moment and asked, “Do you know how to play games?”
“No.” Luo ZhouZhou shook his head and said, “But I can learn.”
“I haven’t played it either, it should be pretty easy.” Chu Feng opened his terminal, “Let me look for a game to pass your time.”
Chu Feng searched on his terminal for half a day and only found a small game that came with the terminal. After some research, he taught it to Luo ZhouZhou.
It was late at night, and there was only an orange floor lamp in the room. Chu Feng fell asleep on the couch, while Luo ZhouZhou rested on his arm and played the game seriously, fiddling with the display screen in front of him.
On the screen was a little bear holding a big round wooden barrel filled with honey in his hand. The bear had to overcome various obstacles to carry the honey to the top of the mountain.
Because it comes with its own game, the production was very crude and the game content was simple and uninteresting, but Luo ZhouZhou played it very seriously.
When he encountered a mountain stream, he cut down trees and built a wooden bridge; when he encountered a river, he swam over the barrel on top of his head and pushed it all the way to the top of the mountain.
Even when he failed and had to start over, he was not discouraged. He skillfully filled the barrel with honey, crossed the starting hurdle that he had repeated countless times, and continued on.
Chu Feng woke up twice, and both times he saw him earnestly handling the bear, pushing the honey barrel to the top of the mountain.
“Aren’t you sleepy yet?” Chu Feng asked with a strong sense of tiredness.
Luo ZhouZhou shook his head and said, “I’m not sleepy.”
“How many cans are you pushing?”
“It’s not a can, it’s a barrel, the same one you started with.”
“…If you’re tired, don’t push it.”
“It’s okay, I’m not tired.” Luo ZhouZhou stared at the bear for an instant, directing it to jump over the thick trunk of a tree that ran across the road.
“Ha, it worked.” He shook his fist excitedly.
Chu Feng sobered up a bit and asked, “Is it a push to the finish line?”
“Not yet, this is the fourth level I’ve encountered on the road.”
“Not bad, all four levels have been cleared.”
“Well, only six more levels to go before we reach the top.”
Chu Feng looked at his terminal, it was three in the morning, Luo ZhouZhou had been pushing this for two hours.
“Do you feel any discomfort anywhere in your body?”
“No.”
“If you feel anything is wrong, call me.”
“I know. Go to sleep now.” Luo ZhouZhou leaned closer and kissed him on the cheek soothingly.
Chu Feng woke up again, feeling something in his body while he was asleep, a hot, restless force rushing through his body, looking for an exit. The moment he opened his eyes, he smelled the sweet scent of orange on his nose, wafting through the room in wisps.
It was the pheromone scent of an Omega’s heat.
Immediately all sleepiness flew away, and he looked down at the crook of his arm.
Luo ZhouZhou was no longer pillowed there, but was sitting upright on the couch with his back to him. The terminal screen floating in the air was still on, and the picture was the same as that of the rough bear, holding a large wooden barrel and swimming in a very funny way.
Luo ZhouZhou was maneuvering the bear, kicking its hind legs and moving forward, seemingly without incident, as a thin white finger moved across it.
Chu Feng was startled, and sniffed the air again to make sure that the sweet orange aroma was getting stronger and stronger. It was Luo ZhouZhou’s pheromone scent, and his own body’s reaction would not be faked.
He shouted carefully to Luo ZhouZhou’s back, “Zhou Zhou.”
Luo ZhouZhou’s fingers, which were moving across the 3D screen, paused and he slowly turned back to look at Chu Feng. Under the light, his face had taken on an abnormal shade of red, his forehead was covered with sweat, and his dark eyes were foggy, as if covered with a layer of moisture.
“Zhou Zhou, why didn’t you call me if you weren’t feeling well?” Chu Feng said softly, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have fallen asleep.”
Luo ZhouZhou looked at him, took a few quick breaths, and said, “Chu Feng, I’m in heat.”
“I know.” Chu Feng sat up quickly, took him in his arms from behind, and sadly added, “You don’t have to put up with it, you can wake me up.”
The pheromones hit Chu Feng even harder than before, and his heart beat faster and his breathing quickened.
Luo ZhouZhou’s voice trembled uncontrollably as he said, “But my little bear’s honey hasn’t pushed it to the top of the mountain yet, and I want to hold it for just a few more minutes.”
“How much more? Let me see.” Chu Feng asked him in a low voice, and took the terminal.
While he was looking at the terminal, Luo ZhouZhou turned around in his arms, his gaze lingering on his face. He leaned closer and closer to his neck and sniffed, his nose fluttering hotly against Chu Feng’s skin.
He murmured, “Not quite, not nearly there.”
Chu Feng looked at the display.
The damn bear had been rolling the honey jar all night and was now only halfway up the mountain, where Luo ZhouZhou said he would be at the top in a few minutes. With fine sweat oozing from the corner of his forehead, Chu Feng maneuvered the bear to push the jar forward and asked, “Can we let it push again tomorrow?
Luo ZhouZhou had grabbed him by the neck, and his hot lips were pressed up against it, murmuring, “What about it, what about tonight?”
Chu Feng was shaken to the core, and when he slipped, the bear was almost hit by a rock falling from the sky. Luckily, he was able to move to the left in time, and the bear dodged it.
Seeing that Luo ZhouZhou was no longer paying attention to the screen, Chu Feng touched the remote control on the coffee table with his left hand and closed the doors and windows, leaving no gap. Then he removed the glandular patch at the back of his neck, and a powerful Alpha pheromone flooded the room.
He rolled over, placed Luo ZhouZhou on the couch, looked down at him and said, “Little Bear is in heat tonight, let him finish his heat before pushing again.”
…
It was almost noon before Chu Feng woke up after such a long night. He squinted to see what time it was and placed the sleeping person in his arms gently on the pillow.
Luo ZhouZhou had been washed by him and was now wearing clean pajamas, curled up in his bed, sleeping soundly. His mouth was slightly open, and there was still a redness on his face that had not faded.
Chu Feng looked at him for a while longer, lifted the covers and gently got up. Barefoot and topless, he put Precious, who had been thrown in the corner, back in the chair and walked to the bathroom to wash up.
He had no control over the cleaning last night and the bathroom was a mess.
He drained the overflowing water from the bathtub, threw the scattered towels into the dirty laundry basket, quickly brushed his teeth and washed his face, and prepared to put on a clean T-shirt.
When he turned around, he saw his back in the mirror, with red scratches all over it. Chu Feng reached back to touch the red mark and laughed, “Are these from a bear claw?”
In a daze, Luo ZhouZhou heard a clicking sound and twisted his fingers gently.
He barely opened his eyes a crack to see Chu Feng sitting on the edge of the bed, a newspaper spread out in front of him, holding his hand and clipping his nails.
“Are you clipping my nails?” Luo ZhouZhou asked out loud.
As soon as the words came out, he realized that his voice was hoarse, and he almost didn’t hear what was said.
Chu Feng looked at him and asked softly, “Did I wake you up?”
“No.” Luo ZhouZhou said, and then stuck his foot out from under the blanket, “Do my feet.”
Chu Feng held his foot and carefully clipped his nails.
“How’s your body?” He asked. For fear that Luo ZhouZhou would be shy, he asked the question in a very subtle way.
Luo ZhouZhou looked at the top of his head without making a sound.
Chu Feng stopped what he was doing and asked worriedly, “What’s wrong?”
“I’m feeling it,” Luo ZhouZhou said.
Chu Feng paused and said, “Then are you feeling it?”
“I feel it.” Luo ZhouZhou pulled his feet back, lifted the blanket and turned over onto his back.
He turned back to Chu Feng, motioned him to look at a certain area on his neck, and said, “It hurts there, and my back is also very sore. But it’s okay, I think it’s more comfortable than the pain.”
His tone was frank, and his eyes were like lakes, clear and bottomless.
Chu Feng’s heartbeat seemed to stop for a few seconds and said, “Lie still while I look at the mark on the back of your neck.”
Luo ZhouZhou obediently lay down and didn’t move. Chu Feng leaned closer and leaned over to look at the glands on the back of his neck.
The skin was swollen and red with two deep teeth marks, and the pheromones that escaped from the skin had mixed in with his scent, no longer just the simple smell of orange.
Chu Feng said, “You lie down and rest, I’ll hurry up and cook you dinner.” He didn’t know when Luo ZhouZhou’s next heat wave would arrive, and had to hurry to heat up a quick meal so he could eat it to regain his strength.
During a heat, the Omega became strongly attached to the Alpha that marks them, and turned so clingy that they couldn’t be separated. Chu Feng remembered what he had learned about physiology and was worried that Luo ZhouZhou would not let him go.
When Luo ZhouZhou heard this, he unsurprisingly looked resistant, turned around quickly, tugged Chu Feng’s corner, and said, “I’m not hungry. Don’t leave to cook.”
“It’s quick, the food is ready, just heat it up and I’ll be right over.” Chu Feng reassured him softly and said, “Listen to the music and look at the terminal, the time will pass in a flash.”
After hearing this, Luo ZhouZhou seemed to suddenly remember something, and his fingers, which had been holding Chu Feng’s corner tightly, loosened one by one.
“Then go.” He said quickly.
Chu Feng was relieved, gathered up the newspaper by the bedside, threw it into the trash, and said as he walked to the door, “I’ll be right back, don’t worry.”
“I’m not in a hurry,” Luo ZhouZhou replied.
Chu Feng went to the kitchen, washed his hands, opened the refrigerator, and took out two boxes of instant meals and threw them in the microwave. He took the time to cut up two plates of fruit, put a small fork in the center of the dish, and took them into the bedroom for Luo ZhouZhou.
As soon as he pushed open the bedroom door, he paused. Halfway up the mountain was a three-dimensional screen, and the rough-haired brown bear, again carrying a barrel of honey, was puffing and rolling to the top.
Luo ZhouZhou was sitting on his knees on the bed, in great spirits, maneuvering the bear over a deep trench.
“Zhou Zhou, have some fruit.” Chu Feng brought the fruit tray to the bedside table.
“Thank you, I’ll eat later.” Luo ZhouZhou said without looking back.
Chu Feng sat down on the edge of the bed, listening to the shoddy electronic soundtrack, accompanied by Luo ZhouZhou’s occasional excited cheers. His voice was still hoarse, and the occasional short gasps of air when he cheered did nothing to dampen his spirits.
“Zhou Zhou, remember to eat the fruit then, I’ll bring you some rice,” Chu Feng said.
“Okay.”
Luo ZhouZhou was letting the brown bear climb a tree, trying to climb over the obstacle in front of him, when he heard Chu Feng’s words, and absent-mindedly replied back.
“Then I’m going.” Chu Feng repeated.
Luo ZhouZhou, still not looking back, said, “Okay, go.”
Chu Feng walked to the door, turned back and said, “I’m going to cook, it will take me a while.”
Luo ZhouZhou turned his head to look at him this time. Just as Chu Feng smiled, Luo ZhouZhou smiled as well, his eyes curved into crescent moons, “Thank you, Chu Feng.”
After saying this, he turned his head back to deal with the brown bear.
