The next day, You XiaoMo followed other disciples to the main hall of the Hall of Magic Herbs . The Hall of Magic Herbs was the most important place in Capital Peak, where all disciples must go everyday. Li-shixiong was in charge of bringing them over , but because he had his own assignments, he didn’t have the time to teach them. It just so happened that Da Shixiong had some free time , so he conveniently took over.

“Since this is the first time for all of you to encounter these things, I won’t get into the complicated issues. Let’s start with the fundamentals. Displayed in front of you are the magic herbs required to refine magic pills. Go ahead and take a look.”

While speaking, Fang ChenYue brought forward potted herbs from behind him and placed them in front of them. Like everyone else, You XiaoMo looked curiously at the magic herbs in the small pots. Magic herbs were a general term for enchanted medicinal materials. However, not all enchanted medicinal materials came in herb form. For example , the second small potted plant on the left hand side was a level one magic herb, the Peaceful Mind Flower.

Fang ChenYue introduced them to the levels of magic herbs. Just like with mages, magic herbs were also categorized by levels. From level one to level twelve. The higher the level of the magic herb, the higher the level of the resulting magic pill. This also depended on the level of the mage.

Low level mages could refine level one to level three magic pills. Mid-level mages could refine level one to level six magic pills. As for high level mages, they were subject to the most jealousy in the Long Xiang Continent. It was also the highest money making profession. However, the success rate of refining magic pills decreased with each increase in level.

You XiaoMo didn’t expect that he would remember his name. Looking down bashfully he said, “Da Shixiong, I wish to take a look at the medicine garden. May I?”

Fang ChenYue froze, sizing up You XiaoMo, then finally nodded his head saying, “Of course you may, I was originally thinking that giving too much information today will be too much of a burden ; but , since it was your request, then it’s fine. But for now, you can only access the level one medicine garden.”

“Thank you , Da Shixiong .” You XiaoMo quickly thanked him in delight.

Fang ChenYue smiled and told him no thanks was necessary, and then took him there.

The main medicine garden was the most important place in the Tian Xin Sect. Any sect that wished for long-term expansion could not separate themselves from it. Therefore , the medicine garden was a restricted area. Unless one had a direct order from the Grand Master, only the elders charged with taking care of the gardens were allowed inside. However, the main medicine garden only grew magic herbs above level five. Level five and below were open to the public.

The three main peaks of the Mage Division had five medicine gardens each. One for each level from level one magic herbs to level five. You XiaoMo was a newly minted probationary disciple , so he only had access to the level one garden.
