The Nutrition is Too Good - Chap 23.2
Rong Mian felt that he didn’t quite understand what Yun Min was saying.
“Isn’t Zhong Yi considered my friend?”
Rong Mian asked in a daze, “Then what is he, a guest?”
Yun Min narrowed his eyes and kindly said to him, “That’s something you need to experience for yourself.”
“But considering how good he is to you and the fact that he wants to directly hire you for a year.”
Yun Min smiled and said, “Let’s give him a discount. We’ll charge this customer the trial price for one month.”

“Sir, the cleaning is almost done.”
Auntie walked out of the guest room holding a vacuum cleaner and said to Zhong Yi, “I’ve vacuumed all the dust, but recently there has been a lot of hair around the house. I can’t tell what it is. Would you like to take a look?”
Zhong Yi was sitting in the living room flipping through the script. He paused for a moment and looked up.
“It’s springtime, so it’s probably willow catkins blowing in from outside.”
Zhong Yi didn’t pay much attention to it and simply said, “Please help by vacuuming more and make sure to close the windows tightly.”
Auntie nodded in response, but hesitated as she glanced at the vacuum cleaner at her feet.
Could it really be willow catkins? Auntie wondered in confusion. Could it be that due to severe environmental pollution and haze recently, the catkins have turned black like this?
Zhong Yi was a bit absent-minded.
Although Rong Mian clearly showed a hesitant expression that day, he didn’t give an immediate response. Zhong Yi knew that this person must still be concerned about his benefactor, the boss.
Liu Yuanfeng gave Rong Mian a day off, and Zhong Yi happened to have no performances in the afternoon. Rong Mian said he wanted to go back and ask his boss. Zhong Yi agreed, but his heart couldn’t help but feel anxious.
He was afraid that this child was easily influenced and might be persuaded by the company to leave again. So, before Rong Mian left, Zhong Yi cunningly said, “Do you want to try the ice cream place I mentioned?”
Zhong Yi saw Rong Mian’s eyes light up.
Rong Mian carefully recalled the flavors that Zhong Yi mentioned that day and specifically named a few: “I want milk, peanut, and mango flavors.”
“And also the bacon flavor you mentioned.”
Rong Mian asked eagerly, “Can you please ask your friend if they can add a little more meat?”
Zhong Yi thought to himself that this person really had no reservations at all.
Later, even the ice cream delivery arrived, but Rong Mian hadn’t returned yet.
The ice cream shop was indeed owned by one of Zhong Yi’s friends in the catering industry, but that day Zhong Yi made up some strange flavors just to distract Rong Mian’s attention in the clinic.
Zhong Yi ordered milk and peanut flavors, and also added a few mangoes to his takeout. He manually mixed and created a mango-flavored one in the kitchen.
In the end, Zhong Yi couldn’t come up with the bacon flavor, so he decided to just tell Rong Mian that it was sold out.
After finishing the busy work, Zhong Yi sat on the sofa and began to contemplate whether what he had done was right or wrong.
He had always believed that he didn’t have such worldly desires, and he simply wanted to help this child. At that time, he had firmly made up his mind to keep a distance from Rong Mian.
As a result, step by step, it has come to this point. Zhong Yi never expected that the clown in the current situation would be himself, the one who proposed this final step.
The doorbell rang, and Auntie opened the door, and Zhong Yi saw Rong Mian standing obediently in the entryway with a small backpack on his back.
Rong Mian immediately noticed the ice cream on the table.
Zhong Yi cleared his throat, turned his face away, and said, “Come over and eat.”
Rong Mian took the first bite eagerly.
For a moment, his mouth couldn’t close because of the coldness. He covered his mouth and took a while to swallow it down, then his eyes widened.
Zhong Yi didn’t deceive himself; the milk flavor was indeed very fragrant and delicious.
Uncle Yun had warned before that when they were in cat form, they couldn’t consume dairy products because kittens have delicate stomachs and lactose intolerance.
Looking at it this way, although they needed to eat a lot of vegetables in human form, they could also eat many other foods that they couldn’t eat in cat form.
Rong Mian felt somewhat happy.
Afraid that the ice cream would melt, he quickly ate spoonful after spoonful, leaving traces of milk stains on his lips.
Zhong Yi stared at his face for a while, then casually asked, “Your boss… what did he say?”
Rong Mian made a sound and put down the spoon happily, saying to Zhong Yi, “Uncle Yun agreed.”
Zhong Yi was stunned.
“No other conditions?” Zhong Yi hesitated.
Rong Mian shook his head and said, biting the spoon, “As for the price, Uncle Yun said that you can give me five hundred first.”
Zhong Yi was taken aback, “How much?”
Rong Mian gestured with his hand, showing the number “five,” and repeated, “Five hundred.”
Rong Mian didn’t notice Zhongyi’s expression because his mind and eyes were filled with the ice cream balls on the table.
He lowered his head, put down the empty paper bowl in his hand, hesitated for a moment, and then eagerly started digging into the peanut-flavored ice cream ball next to him.
Zhong Yi didn’t speak for a while.
Five million.
Zhong Yi contemplated, a very clever and cunning number.
It was obviously higher than the current value of this child, but it was a price that he could actually afford now.
It could be seen that this person’s boss was indeed someone who could control people’s hearts and came prepared.
Author’s note:
Zhong 1: It’s Just five million.
