The Nutrition is Too Good - Chap 25.2
“She seems a bit introverted, a quiet little sister,” Shi Cheng boasted. “But in private, she really enjoys kissing me and being affectionate. Oh, how should I put it…”
Rong Mian listened thoughtfully.
“So, it seems everyone… prefers starting with a kiss,” he murmured.
Shi Cheng was taken aback. Misinterpreting Rong Mian’s words, he thought Rong Mian also had a girlfriend and eagerly leaned in to gossip, “Oh, I didn’t realize. What kind of personality does your partner have?”
“He is a very good and gentle person,” Rong Mian whispered. “But he prefers kissing on the cheek and doesn’t really like doing other things.”
Shi Cheng also felt a bit depressed.
“I understand, are you two just starting to date?”
Shi Cheng suddenly realized and made a face as if to say, “I understand.” “That’s normal. If someone has a more introverted and shy personality, they will definitely be more conservative and innocent at first. Well, we just need to be a bit more proactive.”
Rong Mian looked at Shi Cheng.
“But when it comes to kissing, of course, it’s meaningful to do it mouth to mouth.”
Shi Cheng leaned in a bit closer and began to explain mysteriously, “Let me tell you about the techniques of kissing. Actually, most people would say no at first, but as long as we create the right atmosphere, there won’t be many who can resist…”
Zhong Yi and Shen Yan were eating melon seeds.
Zhong Yi sat in his wheelchair with a handful of melon seeds. He cracked them open, hummed a song, and looked at the script in his hand.
Shen Yan could tell that he was in a good mood, so she asked, “I saw that you have returned to being a mobile canteen these past few days. Are you… dating someone?”
“It’s not what you think at all.”
Zhong Yi lazily threw the melon seed shells onto a napkin, wrapped them up, and tossed them into the nearby trash can. “We made an agreement to take it slow, step by step.”
“This child, indeed, can be a bit clingy.”
Zhong Yi said, “But currently, I have all the initiative.”
Shen Yan hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say.
“What kind of innocent elementary school chicken drama script are you preparing?” Shen Yan asked with a suppressed smile. “Old Zhong, We’ve known each other for so many years, and I never thought you would turn out to be…”
Zhong Yi pretended not to hear and laid out a new napkin. He continued to grab a handful of melon seeds and started cracking them open in his hand.
Shen Yan was about to tease him a little more when she saw Rong Mian standing at the door of the lounge. He held a bunch of small daisies in his hand and cautiously peeked inside.
He stood at the door, glanced at Zhong Yi, then at Shen Yan, and finally, his gaze returned to Zhong Yi’s face. He had an appearance of being timid and unable to speak.
Zhong Yi understood what Rong Mian was thinking.
He put down the melon seeds and said, “Come in and talk, your sister Yanyan is not an outsider, and she doesn’t eat children.”
Shen Yan waved at him with a smiling face, and Rong Mian seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. He walked lightly into the room.
“Shi Cheng and I saw these beautiful flowers by the fence.”
Rong Mian said, “They will die in two days, so I picked them, but one was taken by Shi Cheng.”
There were originally six small daisies, but now there are five left. Rong Mian originally wanted to give them all to Zhong Yi.
But because Shen Yan is a girl, Rong Mian thought for a moment and decided to give three to Shen Yan and the remaining two to Zhong Yi, earnestly assuring him, “Next time, I will pick more for you.”
Shen Yan couldn’t stop laughing and took out her phone to start taking pictures.
Zhong Yi stared at the two small white flowers in his hand, pondering for a while, and finally just said, “Remember to wash your hands.”
Rong Mian nodded and said to Zhong Yi, “I’m done for today.”
“I have a night performance today, and the house key is with Xu Youyou.”
Zhong Yi said, “You go back first.”
Rong Mian nodded.
“Can I fry some small sausages for myself tonight?”
Rong Mian thought for a moment and asked eagerly, “I won’t eat a lot, and I’ll wash the bowl clean.”
It has been three days since Rong Mian had his wisdom tooth extracted, and during these three days, Zhong Yi has been making various fish porridge, chicken porridge, and mushroom porridge for him in a continuous cycle.
Every time Zhong Yi opens the refrigerator to put ingredients, Rong Mian would stand beside him, staring fixedly at the topmost pack of corn sausages. Although he didn’t say anything, Zhong Yi guessed that he had been craving for them.
So Zhong Yi nodded and instructed, “Eat a little less, remember to cut them into pieces, and chew slowly.”
Rong Mian happily nodded in agreement.
Shen Yan covered her mouth and watched the two of them with a gleam in her eyes, almost bursting with an indescribable smile.
Zhong Yi also felt a bit uneasy, mainly because Shen Yan’s gaze carried too much meaning, and he felt his ears heating up a bit.
So Zhong Yi coughed conspicuously and instructed again, “The peanut ice cream is on the second shelf of the refrigerator. Scoop some for yourself, but don’t eat too much. Remember to take your medicine before sleeping.”
Rong Mian obediently nodded again.
He continued to quietly looked at Zhong Yi but still didn’t move.
Zhong Yi: “…Is there anything else?”
Rong Mian lowered his eyes, paused for a moment, and softly murmured, “Because I’m tired from acting today and feeling a bit sleepy.”
Rong Mian said, “So I want to go to sleep earlier.”
Zhong Yi paused for a moment and said, “Okay.”
Rong Mian pursed his lips and said, “By the time you come home, I should already be asleep, so you won’t be able to see me.”
Zhong Yi didn’t immediately understand the meaning behind his words, so he replied with another “Mhm” and then asked hesitantly, “…What’s wrong?”
Rong Mian looked up at Zhong Yi, his eyes shining.
Zhong Yi then heard the boy ask him very seriously, “So, can I kiss you in advance now?”
