The Nutrition is Too Good - Chap 28.1 Teach Again
Zhong Yi suddenly felt a little scared.
The wind subsided a bit, and the sea gradually became calm. The sea water was dyed a pale grayish-orange by the sunset, but Zhong Yi inexplicably felt a chill down his spine.
Because in Zhong Yi’s impression, there was clearly no one under the coconut tree just now.
He was lost in thought for only seven or eight minutes, and that black dog suddenly disappeared without a trace. Then, under the tree, there appeared a person with wet hair, like Kong Sandou who had just finished swimming.
In an instant, Zhong Yi began to suspect that there was something wrong with his eyes. But then he thought that maybe he had been lost in thought for too long.
Maybe the dog… was taken away by its owner during this time, and he himself might not have noticed the movement behind him. Maybe he didn’t see Kong Sandou when she went swimming in the sea.
Zhong Yi always felt that something was off, but he couldn’t really tell what was wrong.
This girl named Kong Sandou seemed to have been talking to Rong Mian about wanting to swim all day today. It’s likely that she had already been swimming around here for a while, and he just didn’t notice earlier.
But for some reason, Zhong Yi still felt a bit uneasy. He turned his head and saw Kong Sandou happily holding her sports water bottle and turning back to walk away.
Zhong Yi took a deep breath and thought that maybe he was overthinking it.
What bothered him more now was Rong Mian.
Rong Mian seemed determined to provide some kind of service to Zhong Yi. In fact, Zhong Yi was okay with kissing to some extent, but after the incident where Rong Mian accidentally bit his mouth, it seemed like Rong Mian thought that Zhong Yi didn’t enjoy kissing.
But Zhong Yi couldn’t just directly say to him, “I really enjoy when you kiss me, please kiss me more.” This led to a somewhat delicate situation.
Sure enough, the next day on set, Rong Mian had that hesitant look again.
He finished shooting his scenes earlier than Zhong Yi, changed his clothes, and sat outside the set waiting obediently, quietly watching Zhong Yi filming.
Shen Yan showed her affection for Rong Mian and took out a few jelly candies from her gift bag for him to eat. After chatting for a while, Shen Yan left.
Rong Mian continued sitting outside, waiting for Zhong Yi. He felt bored, and his phone was with Kong Sandou, so he couldn’t play the fashion nail salon.
So he could only lower his head and slowly eat three pineapple-flavored jelly candies.
After Zhong Yi finished work, he saw Rong Mian trying to stack the empty jelly cups into a small mountain. However, the small cup at the top wasn’t placed securely, resulting in the entire jelly cup mountain collapsing in an instant.
Zhong Yi: “……”
Rong Mian lifted his head and saw Zhong Yi, his eyes brightened for a moment.
The first thing he said to Zhong Yi was, “Have you decided what services you need today?”
Rong Mian looked hopeful, while Zhong Yi wore a pained expression.
After spending the whole day shooting at the beach, Zhong Yi felt even drinking water had a hint of saltiness, and the sea breeze made his head throb.
“Wait a moment,”
Zhong Yi said. “Let me first talk to Liu Yuanfeng about tomorrow’s scenes.”
Rong Mian obediently nodded, and Zhong Yi watched as he picked up the jelly cups one by one and threw them into the trash bin, then turned around slowly.
He walked to the beach and continued to squat down, staring at the sea.
Only then did Zhong Yi relax, turning around to have a brief discussion with Liu Yuanfeng about tomorrow’s scenes.
However, when he turned back around, he realized that Rong Mian was nowhere to be seen on the beach.
Zhong Yi was taken aback for a moment.
His scalp tingled a bit as he wondered if the sea could devour people. Yesterday, that dog disappeared within minutes, but today, this person was a living being.
Fortunately, after Zhong Yi shifted his gaze into the distance, he once again caught sight of Rong Mian.
However, Rong Mian had unknowingly walked deeper into the sea. The water now reached his waist, and he had his back turned to Zhong Yi. Most of his clothes were soaked by the sea, accentuating his slender figure. He was lowering his head, seemingly lost in thought, gazing at the water beneath his feet.
Then Zhong Yi watched as Rong Mian took a few difficult steps further into the sea.
Zhong Yi felt like his heart was about to stop.
He shouted Rong Mian’s name loudly, but the sound of the wind and waves overwhelmed his voice. He helplessly watched as Rong Mian continued to walk further into the depths of the sea, still with his head down.
Zhong Yi was so dizzy, so he could only left the script behind and ran to the edge of the beach, calling Rong Mian’s name once again.
Finally, Rong Mian turned around, his eyes shining brightly.
He appeared excited and opened his mouth to say something to Zhong Yi, but the sound of the wind was too loud, and Zhong Yi couldn’t hear. He watched as Rong Mian turned his body again, crouched down slightly, as if searching for something in the water.
The waves surged and churned, rapidly approaching, and it seemed like they were about to engulf Rong Mian entirely.
Then Rong Mian turned around again.
“I just saw a bigger fish.”
As he shouted, he gesturing towards Zhong Yi. His voice, carried by the sea breeze, sounded somewhat ethereal, “But I can’t find it.”
In early spring, the sea breeze still carried a slight chill. Rong Mian’s cheeks were slightly red from the cold, and his eyes sparkled.
At that moment, Zhong Yi felt his heart beating rapidly.
Another wave surged behind Rong Mian and came crashing towards them. Zhong Yi suddenly became a little flustered and shouted again, “Stop looking for it, come back first!”
Rong Mian stared blankly at Zhong Yi, seemingly not understanding why he was so nervous.
He lowered his head, gazed at the sea for a while, and after a moment of regret, he turned around slowly and started walking back towards Zhong Yi.
Only then did Zhong Yi feel the tension in his body gradually easing.
The wind and waves behind them seemed to have intensified, and the sand beneath their feet was soft. Rong Mian’s steps became unsteady, prompting Zhong Yi to quickly shout, “Take it slow!”
Rong Mian hesitated, glanced at Zhong Yi, obediently slowed down his pace, and continued walking back with some difficulty.
Then, when they were still about a dozen steps away from Zhong Yi, another wave crashed onto Rong Mian’s back. Losing his balance, Rong Mian stumbled forward, and Zhong Yi quickly ran a few steps to catch him in his arms.
“Do you have any common sense and safety awareness?”
Zhong Yi felt like he was about to lose his breath. “Ancestors, this is the ocean, not a swimming pool! You weren’t even fishing just now. Are you waiting to be swallowed by a fish or something…”
Rong Mian was momentarily stunned, then slowly raised his hand and rubbed his eyes.
“Because you never told me what you needed today,” Rong Mian said. “And I feel like you didn’t really like the small fish I gave you yesterday.”
“So, I wanted to catch a bigger fish for you,” Rong Mian said.
Zhong Yi was taken aback.
Suddenly, Rong Mian frowned and sneezed.
End of the small talk.
Zhong Yi regained his composure and quickly pulled the person towards the hotel. The hotel where the crew stayed was right behind the beach. Zhong Yi directly took Rong Mian back to his own room and told him to take a hot shower.
Then Zhong Yi boiled some hot water and sat on the bed, lost in thought.
Zhong Yi was really puzzled.
While wondering why Rong Mian was so determined to provide some kind of service, Zhong Yi also wondered about himself. He felt like he was the most timid sugar daddy in the whole universe, who could actually push his lover into a corner where the only way to please him was by catching fish.
The bathroom door opened.
Rong Mian, wearing a bathrobe and barefoot, stood at the doorway, holding his shoes.
His cheeks were slightly flushed from the steam, and he said to Zhong Yi sadly, “My shoes got wet.”
Zhong Yi sighed and took a pair of disposable hotel slippers for him to change into.
Rong Mian earnestly lowered his head and put on the slippers, then said to Zhong Yi, “The quality of these slippers is really poor.”
“—Don’t be so reckless in the future. There are plenty of fish, but you only have one life.”
Zhong Yi said with great concern, “If you like keeping fish, when we go back, I can take you to the flower and bird market. There’s no need to work so hard, understand?”
