Tit For Tat (Beloved Enemy) - Chap 101
GuQingPei’s pupils immediately shrank. He watched as YuanYang stabbed the knife on the backside of the security guard’s hand, penetrating through the person’s palm with only a small portion of the blade not embedded.
GuQingPei grimaced. Although he knew that using violence to curb violence is the best and most effective intimidation method in dealing with these kinds of scoundrels, he did not plan to do that. Even if there are no other options other than using violence, he didn’t want to see it with his own eyes. He is just an ordinary person. Any situations involving seeing blood makes him uncomfortable.
But YuanYang apparently knew better than him on how to handle such people.
GuQingPei turned his head to glance at YuanYang. YuanYang’s side profile is in close proximity to him, so close that GuQingPei could see YuanYang’s facial hair, the chilly fine lines on his face have caused him to shiver many times before.
YuanYang’s expression is ghastly frightening. He released his hand that is holding the knife. The knife penetrated through the palm, inserted onto the floor, nailing the security guard’s hand directly onto the ground. He grabbed the security guard’s hair and forced the man to look up at him.
The security guard’s face paled, his lips trembled but he didn’t dare open his mouth.
He knew YuanYang is ruthless. Without even saying anything or giving him time to speak, he (YuanYang) immediately stabbed him with the knife. This person really makes people terrified.
YuanYang loosened his hand that was covering the man’s mouth and softly threatened, “Right now, I’m going to ask and you answer. If you dare say any more crap… dare to cry out, I’ll practice on some other place with the knife.”
That security guard nodded.
“Where did the photos come from? A security guard like you could not have connection to the company’s internal email system.”
“From a … colleague.”
“Who? Name, phone, address?”
The man gritted his teeth, “I won’t tell you, if you’re going to force me….. aahhhhhhh!!…….”
YuanYang clutched the knife’s handle and turned half a circle. The security guard was in so much pain that his eyes rolled up; his body starting to perspire profusely and his clothes instantly soaked with sweat.
GuQingPei simply stood up and headed toward the sofa. He didn’t want to see this.
YuanYang retorted coldly, “If you continue with this crap, I’m going to cripple your other hand.”
The security guard was petrified, his voice shivering, “The receptionist at the company’s front desk… is… my lover.”
YuanYang took the phone out of the security guard’s pocket, opened the phone book and looked at the most recent call log to show him, “Which one is it?”
“This one,” The security guard pointed with his chin, “The Xiao Die one.”
YuanYang threw the phone behind him to the quiet bodyguard, “Go find this person. Both of you go, destroy all the photos in their hands.”
The two bodyguards took the phone and left.
There were only three people left in the room.
YuanYang continued to ask, “How many more accomplices are there still?”
“No more. There is really no more.”
YuanYang gently flicked the knife handle. This slight tremble caused the security guard to be so frightened that his face is as paled as white paper. Screaming, “There is really no others!! I was short on money. I needed money so I just thought of this. I won’t ever do this again.”
YuanYang looked at him for two seconds and suddenly pulled out the knife.
“Ahhhhhh…..Uhh!” The security guard rolled around the floor in excruciating pain.
YuanYang pulled out a card from his wallet and said coldly, “There are twenty thousand yuan in here, use it to take care of your hand. You should be glad that my temper has diminished in the last two years. Otherwise, getting rid of one or two people like you, nobody would even know. Remember today’s little lesson, if I see you try this again, I’ll cut off the meat from your body piece by piece at a time.” After he said that, he released the rope tied around the security guard, “Now fuck off.”
That security guard made a mournful sound, saying that “he’d never dare” while crazily rushing out.
YuanYang threw the knife to the ground and took out a paper towel to wipe his hand. Then, he turned around and glanced at GuQingPei, with a faint laugh, “You scared?”
GuQingPei casually replied, “Not to that degree, I just don’t like to use these kinds of methods.”
“Do you think that talking reason to him would help? He can promise you now but when he runs out of money, he will still come back and cause you trouble. If you don’t make him fearful, he will never remember the lesson.”
GuQingPei did not deny that so remained quiet. He stood up, “Those things, you deal with it yourself.” He was referring to the blood on the ground.
“Someone will take care of it,” YuanYang quickly got in front of him, looking up and down to examine him, and asked softly, “Are you alright?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?”
“The issue with the photos,” YuanYang straightened his head to look directly into GuQingPei’s eyes, “You don’t have to worry about the photos anymore. I’ve already mentioned that I will handle it.”
GuQingPei smiled sarcastically, “How are you going to handle it? Can you destroy everyone’s computers?”
YuanYang responded coldly, “The news of today’s bloodshed will spread to the company tomorrow. I want to let everyone know that anyone who dares to privately spread those photos will have to pay the price.”
GuQingPei lowered his head, his voice hoarse, “Regardless of what method you use, these things will never disappear.” He pushed YuanYang away and walked toward the door.
YuanYang’s heart tightened. He gripped onto GuQingPei’s shoulders, blocking him from the door. He looked into GuQingPei’s eyes, with his voice lowered, “You’re a man. Can you fucking be a little more forgiving and forget about this?”
“I can’t,” GuQingPei looked at him coldly, “I still need to save face(T/N).”
T/N, Face – in Chinese, the characters for saving face (要臉) and having face (有臉) refers to a person’s reputation and feelings of prestige within multiple spheres, including the workplace, family, personal friends, and society at large. GuQingPei is a person that cares tremendously about his reputation, his prestige, and his appearance within all these multiple spheres.
YuanYang is enraged, “If worse comes to worst, why don’t you just stand on the roof and spill the real truth(T/N) of the story. I don’t fucking care.”
T/N, Real truth – as in YuanYang being the one that took the video and his raping GuQingPei.
GuQingPei’s mood is especially bad. He was afraid and worried of seeing blood again. Seeing YuanYang right now, all the old and new hatred surged up. He pushed YuanYang fiercely, “Don’t bother me, fucking go as far as possible.”
YuanYang clasp onto his chin and fiercely kissed his lips.
GuQingPei’s eyes widen and then he bit on YuanYang’s soft lips. YuanYang cried out in pain, his lips trembled but still did not let go. Instead, he took this opportunity to slip his tongue in when GuQingPei opened his mouth, shamelessly raiding GuQingPei’s internal oral cavity with the fervent brushing movements of his tongue.
GuQingPei was confined tightly in YuanYang’s embrace with no room to evade. YuanYang’s forceful kiss, blending in with a trace of blood from the bite, is full of wild flavors, leaving GuQingPei almost gasping for breaths.
The two separated breathlessly. YuanYang stuck out his tongue to lick the blood on the corner of his mouth, “Know to bite, huh?”
“Let go, I need to leave.”
“Right now you can’t leave.”
“You’re going to keep me here?” GuQingPei mockingly asks.
“No, you need to go somewhere with me today.”
GuQingPei glared, “Where?”
“The XX Entrepreneurs Association’s eighth anniversary celebration is held at the XX Restaurant today, you should have received the invitation.”
GuQingPei responded coldly, “Not going.”
“Why.”
“No time.”
“You have (time),” YuanYang said lifting up his collar, hovering over his ears and teasingly tells him, “You look very young wearing this, but you need to dress formally for tonight.”
GuQingPei retorted angrily, “I’ve already said that I’m not going.”
YuanLiJiang is the Honorary President of XX Entrepreneurs Association. Therefore, there is 100% assurance that he will undoubtedly run into YuanLiJiang and his wife there. He didn’t know what YuanYang’s intentions are but he is not obliged to accompany YuanYang in this craziness.
He had a premonition. He felt that YuanYang has some sort of conspiracy. This kind of feeling had been lingering from the time he returned and started meeting up with YuanYang till now.
But no matter what, he didn’t want to waddle in this muddy water.
However, it is obvious that YuanYang will not let him go. YuanYang firmly dragged him into his car and headed toward a downtown mall.
GuQingPei responded gloomily, “I’m going to see if you can watch over me for 24 hours.”
YuanYang glanced at him and immediately said, “For tonight, stay with me obediently. I’ll help you resolve your company’s current most troublesome problem.”
GuQingPei looked at him, “What are you saying?”
YuanYang stopped the car and took out a contract from the backseat, “Sign this, by tomorrow afternoon, you can receive four million. You can use it to pay the up-front payment for the WeiShui project.”
GuQingPei was stunned. He did not flip through the contract but instead just looked at YuanYang, “YuanYang, you’ve passed the age of doing business at a loss. Don’t treat me as a fool, what does this exactly mean?”
YuanYang glanced at him. Then suddenly leaned over and teased, “What I want to say is, give yourself to me as a collateral.”
