That night the security guard arranged for three men to stay in GuQingPei’s room to guard him, while he and a few men went to the next room.
GuQingPei had been tied up the entire day. Except going to the toilet one time and drinking a glass of water, he did nothing for a whole day. Not only is he lying in an uncomfortable position on this dampen and musty bed, he also haven’t eaten anything. Looking at the instant noodles that’s now cold, he felt a bit tempted. However, he was not hungry to that extent. He could only try to adjust to a comfortable position and wait for the time to pass.
Will YuanYang come to save him?
While he hoped that YuanYang would come, he is also worried that YuanYang would get hurt if he came.
Hearing the security guard’s intent, this time he had come prepared. GuQingPei had observed the number of people, there were at least seven to eight of them. But thinking that YuanYang could locate him, he felt that YuanYang must have a way to rescue him.

The other two people reacted very quickly and pulled out their knives, rushing toward the bodyguard. The bodyguard had apparently received formal training, fighting them was like playing a game. Very easily, he was able to subdue them with a few moves. They looked at GuQingPei, then turned around and went out again.
The sound of fighting in the next room is so fierce that the bed GuQingPei was on also shook.
Suddenly, the window on his side was opened. The curtains were forcefully pushed to the side, an ear-piercing sound came. GuQingPei turned his head and saw that the security guard had rushed in with a bloody knife.

Almost simultaneously, YuanYang’s tall figure stood in the doorway. At a glimpse, he violently kicked his bodyguard and shouted, “Fuck! Why did you not save the person first!”
The bodyguard also knew that he made a grave mistake and looked at GuQingPei nervously.
The murderous looking security guard held his knife across the aorta on GuQingPei’s neck, “Surname Yuan, LaoZi(T/N) has also been a soldier for several years. I was tied up last time, otherwise, you really think you could stab me with the knife that easily? I’m fucking telling you, it’s not so easy to catch me. If you dare to take one step forward, I will cut his aorta. It’ll take 15 minutes to get to the nearest hospital from here. If his neck starts to bleed, he won’t even last five minutes, hahahha…”

YuanYang is so furious that his face turned ghastly. He did not expect that the bodyguards he brought were so useless, totally lacking actual combat experience. He had wanted to capture this person himself and let the bodyguard handle the people in GuQingPei’s room. Little did he expect for this situation to occur. Gritting his teeth, “Tell me what you want?”
The security guard look fiercely at him, the knife he was yielding lightly grazed GuQingPei. GuQingPei’s neck immediately bled. He loathingly commanded, “I’ve said, I will have each one of your fingers chopped off one by one. Kneel down!”
YuanYang shook his hands. His expression is vicious like that of a wolf. Staring deathly at one another, YuanYang shot back, “If you want to chop it off, I’ll let you. But if you dare hurt him, I’ll chop you to pieces.”
GuQingPei gulped, his forehead sweating bullets.
The security guard trembled. In order to conceal his increasingly seeping fear, he yelled, “Let my people go.”
YuanYang waved his hand and let the few that remained standing go. All those people ran toward GuQingPei’s side.
The security guard sniffed his nose, gasping, “You…have you prepared the money?”
YuanYang, “No, the bank is already closed.”
“You fucking want to die!”
“There are still three hours before the bank opens. I can immediately send someone to withdraw the money.” YuanYang looked at him brutishly, “I advise you not to do anything rash. If you dare to touch him, I will kill you before you can even get a word out.” YuanYang murderously looked directly into his eyes, “I will definitely kill you.”
The security guard smile ruthlessly, “Fine, I’m not going to touch him, but I won’t spare you.”
YuanYang reached out his hand, his chin slightly raised, looking at him arrogantly, “I’ll give you my hands, would you dare to come for it?”
The security guard kicked one of his subordinates and ordered, “Go, chop off each one of his fingers.”
The man was scared. He had been beaten and bruised. YuanYang had broken one of his legs. He both hated and feared YuanYang. Trying to be strong, he pulled out a knife and dragged his broken leg limping toward YuanYang.
The other man with more guts saw that he had trouble moving so he followed along. With one kick, YuanYang ended up kneeling on the ground on one knee.
When the man saw that YuanYang’s body had lowered to the ground in a kneeling position, he suddenly no longer felt fear and forcefully kicked YuanYang.
YuanYang steadied his body, his pitch-black gloomy pupils glared at the two men speechlessly, it was as if he was looking at two dead dogs.
The two people were shaking.
The security guard yelled, “What are you afraid of! He won’t dare to move, chop off his fingers, don’t even leave one out!”
One of them kneel down and grabbed YuanYang’s wrist, then pressed his palm to the ground. The other one kneel on the other side, gripping the brightly pointed knife.
GuQingPei could no longer bear it, his voice trembling, “How much money do you want? I will give any amount, not a penny less. If you really need to hurt someone, then there will be even bigger problems. Doing this will only appease your moment’s rage, it’s not worth it.”
The security guard snapped, “Shut up!”
YuanYang quietly looked at GuQingPei and whispered, “Don’t say anything.”
GuQingPei is so scared that he is shaking, if he really saw YuanYang’s hands….. he could not accept it, he could not imagine!
“Hurry up!” The security guard yelled and urged.
The person clutching the knife gritted his teeth, gripping one of YuanYang’s little finger and ready to chop it off.
GuQingPei’s eyes widen in horror as he shouted, “Don’t touch him!” He was so loud that the security guard next to him stared blankly.
At this very instant, YuanYang suddenly got up from the ground and effortlessly broke free from his restraints. His entire person rushed toward GuQingPei like a leopard with such expeditious speed that makes people dizzy.
After the security guard regained his senses, he saw YuanYang rushing toward him. Before his mind could even react, he felt a sharp pain in his thigh. Looking down, he’d been stabbed above his knee.
Immediately following, he was thrashed to the ground by YuanYang.
YuanYang’s fist, like stones pounded savagely on his eyes, immediately subduing him.
His two bodyguards behind him threw themselves against others who had wanted to sneak attack from behind YuanYang. In a matter of few seconds, the situation was suddenly reversed. GuQingPei feebly slumped and falls to the ground.
YuanYang mounted himself atop the security guard’s back and pulled the knife out of his leg. Without turning to look at his own bodyguard, “Take him (GuQingPei) out first.”
Knowingly, the bodyguard cuts the rope and carried the weakened GuQingPei, who could no longer hold himself up, out of the room.
GuQingPei shouted, “YuanYang!”
YuanYang turned the handle of the knife and twisted it into a circle, softly muttering, “Wait for me in the car.”
Just as GuQingPei is taken downstairs by the bodyguards, he heard a terrifying scream. The scream is so loud that it made the eardrums tingle. It was piercingly horrifying. GuQingPei’s entire body felt chills, his voice shivering, “Put me down, he wouldn’t….”
The bodyguard said coldly, “No. Death would be too easy for him, half-dead but still living is more satisfying.”
Before his words were finished, a blood-curdling shriek thundered through the skies. GuQingPei really dared not think about it again. He is a law-abiding and good-natured citizen. In his life, he had fought and quarreled with his classmates, but he doesn’t have the heart against bloody violence. Although he thinks that the security guard deserves it, YuanYang was right in sending him away first.
After he got into the car, his body softened like a pool of mud. Being held captive for more than 30 hours has exhausted all of his energy. His limbs having been tied for such a long time are unable to move normally.
After about ten minutes, the car door opened, a strong smell of blood gushed into GuQingPei’s nose.
GuQingPei turned around and sees YuanYang sitting in the car. His clothes are soaked in blood, his expression gloomy and terrifying. GuQingPei looked at YuanYang without blinking, not knowing how to react.
YuanYang moved closed and reached his hand out to touch half of GuQingPei’s beaten swollen face, his fingers tremble slightly. Then he took GuQingPei into his embrace, his voice sobbing, “Scared me to death.”
GuQingPei’s heart suddenly softened, sniffing his nose, with an urge to cry.
YuanYang pressed all of his body weight onto GuQingPei’s shoulders, holding the person tightly in his arms. Fear that he had never experienced before eroded his heart. If anything happened to GuQingPei, even killing himself is not enough (meaning he won’t be able to live with himself).
Fortunately, fortunately, the person in his embrace is warm.
