YuanYang patted his brother’s head; his expression a bit embarrassed, “Don’t talk nonsense.”
YuanLiJiang smiled, “Let me introduce. This is YuanYang’s little brother, thirteen years old. His name is YuanGeng. This is his younger sister, ten years old. Her name is YuanYing.”
GuQingPei said with a smile, “Greetings to the both of you.”
The little girl held onto YuanYang’s waist, hiding from behind him, looking at him with a guarded expression.
WuJingLan dragged the little girl over and smiled at GuQingPei, “Director Gu, have a seat, dinner is ready.”
GuQingPei was sitting in between the family. It was somewhat uncomfortable. Fortunately, YuanLiJiang and WuJingLan are both business people. He has many topics in common with him. The three people heartily chatted on a few upcoming real-estate projects.
YuanYang was no longer indifferent to these topics as he was in the past. Instead, he participated in their discussions. Both YuanLiJiang and WuJingLan were happy and felt that their son had finally started to enlighten.
They would not know that the reason for YuanYang’s enthusiasm is because he hated being looked down upon by GuQingPei.
After eating dinner, GuQingPei and YuanYang planned to leave.
YuanGeng pulled onto his clothes, “Ge, when are you going to take me out to play?”
“Later.”
“You always say that.”
“Wait till you can drive yourself.”
“That will be several years!”
WuJingLan criticized, “What’s the big deal with taking your little brother and sister out to play?”
YuanYang impatiently responded, “Okay. I know. I’ll take them out soon. Stay home and wait for me to set up some free time.”
“YuanYang can’t drive right now. How are you getting to work? Why don’t you come back to live at home?”
“No need, my arm will be fine in a few days. You don’t have to worry about my work.”
YuanLiJiang responded, “This … we’ll have to trouble Director Gu to pick YuanYang up every day.”
GuQingPei guiltily responded, “It’s not a problem. I can be his driver. I’ll pick him up in the morning and take him back home at night.”
“That’s good. Sorry to trouble you.”
When the two got in the car, YuanYang laughed, “If they know that we live together…”
GuQingPei sternly interjected, “They will not know.”
YuanYang turned his head to look at him.
GuQingPei also looked at him seriously, “They can’t possibly know.”
YuanYang’s heart felt a bit suffocated, but he didn’t know why. GuQingPei’s eagerness to conceal this fact; his fear of (their relationship) being exposed made him dispirited. He said a little irritably, “Of course, how could they possibly know?”
GuQingPei said while driving, “Once of the verdict to the case is settled, I’ll apply for your bonus. At that time, you’ll have money and could move out.”
YuanYang coldly groaned, “Making it sound as if I’m willing to live with you. I just don’t have money to eat.”
“I know.”
YuanYang gritted his teeth, “When I need to move, I’ll move. But you must take care of me during this time.”
GuQingPei sighed, “I know.”
Neither of them spoke on the rest of the way home. After entering the house, YuanYang suddenly said behind him, “If I don’t move, what are you going to do to me?”
GuQingPei said helplessly, “I also can’t do anything to you, but you will have to get married sooner or later. You can’t possibly live with me forever.”
“I’m only 22, what the fuck with getting married.”
“I’m saying sooner or later.”
YuanYang angrily scoffed, “I think you’re the one eager to get married.”
“How could this be about me?”
“You’re already divorced with that ZhaoYuan but why are you still in contact with her all the time? Could it be that you want to remarry?”
“What are you talking about?” GuQingPei thought he’s being crazy again so he ignored him. Every now and then, YuanYang will inexplicably get angry for no apparent reason. Then, his anger will inexplicably disappear. Then, he’ll be clingy. All this, GuQingPei had gotten used to.
YuanYang got in front of him, “So what if I continue to live here? And not move out?”
GuQingPei furrowed his brows, “What is it that you really want to say?”
YuanYang was so enraged that his brows twitched. He also didn’t know what he wanted to say. But when he thought of GuQingPei wanting to kick him out, he was furious.
Are they not good right now?
GuQingPei haven’t rested all day so he was really tired, “Let’s not argue, okay? Wash up and go to bed.”
YuanYang continued to groan angrily as he kicked off his shoes and entered the house.
Just like a little kid…..GuQingPei bitterly smiled while shaking his head. How did he end up provoking this plaything?
GuQingPei took a shower and went into the bedroom. He sees YuanYang lying on the side with his back facing him in bed.
GuQingPei climbed onto the bed and asked, “You’re not taking a shower?”
YuanYang didn’t say anything.
“Really not going to shower?”
“Not going to. So what? I’m dirty now? ”
“Not that. If you don’t want to, then fine,” GuQingPei laid down sideways and stretched his hand out to turn off the lights.
In the dark, he could hear YuanYang’s heavy breathing.
GuQingPei reluctantly sighed, “Still mad? Let’s not quarrel anymore, okay?”
“Who is angry? Crazy.”
GuQingPei patted him on the shoulders, “Turn around and let me give you a kiss.”
YuanYang’s body stiffened, not moving.
“Come on.”
YuanYang sluggishly turned around, trying not to aggravate the injury on his shoulder.
GuQingPei heartily gave him a kiss, “Coaxing you is like coaxing a little kid. It’s really a workout.”
YuanYang whispered, “I’ll move when I want to move.”
“Fine.”
“You dare try to kick me out.…”
“I’m not kicking you out… Nevermind… can’t tell you clearly.”
YuanYang grabbed onto his waist, “I’m annoyed to death with this kind of attitude of yours, as if I’m pestering you endlessly.”
GuQingPei laughed, “Aren’t you pestering me endlessly?”
Half of YuanYang’s body leaned on top of his body and he gently bit his clavicle, “If you keep bullying me, I’m going to beat you up.”
GuQingPei could not help but laugh. Touching YuanYang’s head, “Let’s go to sleep, we have to go to work tomorrow.”
YuanYang buried his face in the crook of his neck, taking in a deep breath of GuQingPei’s familiar warm scent, letting out a gentle “hmm” sound.
GuQingPei unconsciously put his arm on YuanYang’s body.
He (GuQingPei) didn’t know when it all started, but he had already gotten use to the existence of this person. Even though YuanYang is an extremely unqualified lover and is the naive and reckless type that he hated most, he didn’t know why, but he always felt that having YuanYang around him, the feeling was not bad. Maybe he had been lonely for too long, or maybe his heart is following the feelings of his body. Anyway, he had gradually accepted YuanYang’s intrusion into his life.
The way they get along now, is just like ….a couple.
This makes the alarming bells in GuQingPei’s heart erupt. However, having someone by his side is comforting. He desperately tried to relax his heart.
Sometimes, he felt that he should put a stop to this immediately. Other times, he felt that it wasn’t bad to just enjoy it. He had never been a person to muddle and just drifted along. But in the face of this matter, he wanted to keep delaying it further and further, not wanting to resolve this. In reality, he had no way to resolve this. YuanYang would not comply with his way of thinking.
The more he’s infatuated with their current situation, the deeper he is worried.
Considering the level of importance YuanYang’s parents placed on their eldest son, he could not imagine what the consequences may be if they found out the truth.
GuQingPei softly sighed.
YuanYang moved, “Why are you sighing?”
“It’s nothing.”
YuanYang lifted his head and kissed him on the lips, “If it is job-related, I can help you in the future. Or else you’ll bully me all the time. It’s so annoying.”
“I’m doing it for your own good.”
“Humph. Isn’t it about making money? I’ll support you in the future, so you don’t need to furrow your brows all day long thinking about things.”
GuQingPei’s mouth unconsciously lifted, “You need to be able to support yourself first.”
“I said that I’ll support you, then I could support you. I’ll work hard.”
“Then I’ll wait to see how you can support me. I’m not cheap.”
YuanYang hugged him tightly, “No matter how much, I’ll cover it all.”
