When GuQingPei saw that the caller ID was YuanYang, he really didn’t want to answer.
There was no special reason, just that he really didn’t want to hear YuanYang’s voice, that unruly, overbearing hooligan tone that is sometimes refreshing; sometimes amusing, but sometimes made him feel disgusted.

“There was something wrong with my laptop and I needed to urgently send an email out yesterday. I remember that you have that email on your laptop so I used it. Oh right, you should change your password.”
“GuQingPei!” YuanYang shouted.
GuQingPei causally responded, “If there’s nothing else, be a good host to WangJin and Lawyer Yang. You must not neglect them.”

YuanYang couldn’t express the feelings in his heart upon hearing GuQingPei finish saying these words. He felt a hand choking his throat, with its grip continuously tightened, almost suffocating him.
What GuQingPei said was right. The initial reason as to why they got together, both of them knew it clearly. There were no emotions, feelings, or love involved. It was just a game of conquest and contest.

Seeing you so panicky, I thought something happened with WangJin.” GuQingPei smiled but there was no smiling expression in his eyes, “Get to bed early, it might rain tomorrow. The mountain road is not easy to drive. You guys should head out a little earlier, don’t delay work.”
YuanYang’s head almost dropped down to his chest. He gloomily added, “GuQingPei, we have always been just fuck buddies, right?”
GuQingPei put the cup in his hand on the coffee table. When the bottom of the cup hit the coffee table, his hand was trembling but his voice was calm as usual, “If not, what else could we be?”
YuanYang felt the blood in his body solidified. He forcefully smiled, “I’m so handsome, don’t you like me even a little?”
GuQingPei lightly laughed twice, “Stupid kid, hurry up and go to sleep. I’m still busy with things. If there is nothing important in the future, don’t call me.” After he said that, he firmly hung up.

As long as he has a strong body and agile fighting skills, he can overcome it. No one has ever been like GuQingPei, who can make him feel such pain from the inside. Every word that GuQingPei said was a punch to his heart, giving him that feeling of hanging in thin air, not being able to go up or down, as if he would fall anytime.
He’s never experienced this kind of feeling. He didn’t know what it is or why he would feel this way.
He only knew that GuQingPei not caring about him made him extremely furious.

GuQingPei was stunned. He thought he was dreaming. Wasn’t YuanYang on a business trip more than 200 kilometers away? How can he suddenly come back?
Before he could even ponder over this, YuanYang had already stormed into the bedroom.
He was so impatient that he didn’t even take off his shoes.
GuQingPei rubbed his eyes, his mind not yet fully awake, “You. Why did you come back?”
