When GuQingPei got to his office the next morning, he received a phone call before even he even got to sit down for ten minutes.
Picking up the phone, WangJin’s pleasant voice sounded in his ears, “QingPei, I’ve been waiting for you to call me since 8:30, waiting every minute and every second. The feeling’s not bad.”
GuQingPei felt a little embarrassed, “I just went to eat breakfast.”
“Oh, I forgot, are you full?” WangJin’s tone obviously hinted a bit of ambiguity and concern.
“It’s alright,” GuQingPei coughed, “Wang Ge, the question you mentioned yesterday, I’ll have to ask my subordinates and let you know. Too many things, sometimes I forget.”
“It doesn’t matter. Actually, I have good news to tell you. After careful consideration during this time, I’ve decided to invest in this developmental project.”
“Oh? That’s great,” GuQingPei said happily. YuanLiJiang have many promising projects in his hands, but unfortunately they are all limited in funding so many of them can’t be initiated. If he can successfully cooperate with WangJin on this project, within three years, this may become one of the largest industrial developments under YuanLiJiang’s name. And it would have been greatly attributed to GuQingPei efforts. At that time, this company that he operates under the corporation will reap huge profits so restoring the listing in the market is just around the corner. This news really excites him.
WangJin said with a smile, “QingPei, I hope that you understand. I’ve considered this for a long time. I never meant to intentionally delay it. After all, this is a huge investment project. This proposal was passed by two shareholders’ meetings.”
“Thank you, Wang Ge. Without your support; this wouldn’t have gone through.”
WangJin smiled and responded, “Though I wanted to be a bit modest, but you’re right. Since it’s as such, how are you going to thank me? QingPei.”
WangJin is surely a veteran in the love playing field, warming and proper, full of charisma. When he’s pursuing someone, he’s unyielding relentless but he does it to an extent that is just appropriate; where people won’t find it at all annoying. If GuQingPei didn’t have a little wolf dog at home, he really wanted to enjoy this exciting ambiguous game in his leisure time. Contending with WangJin is sure to make people wish for it to continue given the immense gains. If one was to be able to conquer such an almost perfect man, the taste would definitely make one arousingly tempted.

The image of YuanYang baring his fangs emerged in front of GuQingPei’s eyes. He smiled and shook his head. If even he dared to make a move on that thought, YuanYang will surely bite him.
He smiled, “Wang Ge, what do you say?”
“I’m saying to give yourself to me. Would that be a bit too lewd?”
GuQingPei said helplessly, “Say it differently, that just doesn’t sound too fashionable.”
“Hahaha, QingPei, what to do? I’m liking you more and more…”
GuQingPei casually smiled, “Wang Ge, since you’ve already made your decision, let’s first find a time to sign an intentional agreement. We don’t have to look further for other investors and the work can be initiated.”

GuQingPei felt his palm sweating as he responded with a smile, “How could it be?”
WangJin stopped asking, “Since you don’t want to say then forget it. But I won’t give up because of this.”
GuQingPei sighed, “Wang Ge, you’re really making this difficult for me.”
WangJin smiled, “I know that it’s hard on you. If you didn’t feel a bit confused, then it means that you have no interest in me at all. That would hurt me deeply. After being confused for a while, you will have an answer.”
His confidence makes GuQingPei somewhat depressed.
WangJin is indeed a very difficult person to understand. It seems that he has to exert even more energy to deal with him.
In order to prepare for the intentional contract, GuQingPei specially called YuanLiJiang to discuss this matter with him. Then he followed up with the legal affairs to have them draft the contract. He was so busy that time flew by and it was quickly dinner time.
YuanYang was busily checking out a project earlier in the morning and had just returned, bringing with him fish porridge take-out that GuQingPei loved to eat.
GuQingPei seeing that YuanYang’s facial complexion is quite bad asked him what’s wrong.
YuanYang laid on the sofa, “Those assholes are full of shit. Can’t believe a word they say. Fucking got me fooled with this garbage project. The company’s debts are unclear and still daring to ask for such a high price. Wasted my entire morning. Really wanted to kill them.”
GuQingPei smiled and added, “Ahhh this … in the future, you’ll meet countless cheats. With some, you’ll be able to know with just a glance. Just like today, you’ve only lost a morning’s time. It’s not too bad. But there’ll be some that are so good with their lies that they’ll make you believe that even cows could fly. If you’re even a bit careless, the loss will be immense. All this exposure is more practice and is a good thing for you.”
YuanYang sat up and narrowed his eyes at him, “Did you already know and deliberately let me go.”
GuQingPei ate a spoonful of porridge, “The temperature is just right. It would be better if there was bit more salted vegetables.”
YuanYang snorted, “You big liar.”
GuQingPei innocently responded, “You got a free lesson and they’ve satisfied their egos. Isn’t this a win-win situation? What are you complaining about?”
YuanYang went over and pinched his face, “If this comes up again, don’t bother me with it. Listening to these two fools brag annoys the shit out of me.”
GuQingPei smiled, “You know that it’s hard to do business right? Fine. Go take a rest in the break room.”
“What about you? You’re not going to nap with me?”
“I’m reviewing a contract. Our legal is not very competent, we have to hire another. Annual salary is gonna be at least 20w.”
YuanYang helped him massage his temple and whispered, “Let’s just go take a rest.”
“I’m fine. I’m not sleepy, you go ahead. Remember to get up before 2pm, or you’re considered late.”
YuanYang bent down to give him a kiss and then went to take a nap.
GuQingPei reviewed all the contractual terms. In fact, the intentional contract is very short, less than two pages but he places great importance to this cooperation project. Moreover, many of these conditions apply to formal contracts so it needs to be carefully considered.
After some time, someone suddenly knocked on the door.
GuQingPei didn’t lift his head, “Come in.”
The door was pushed open and then gently closed. GuQingPei looked up and was shocked, “Chairman Yuan!”
YuanLiJiang laughed loudly, “You look so concentrated, I didn’t want to disturb you.”
“Chairman Yuan, you… why are you here?”
“About the contract terms we discussed this morning, I don’t think I conveyed it well on the phone. So it just works out perfectly that I have time this afternoon, let’s discuss this face to face. I’ve been too busy during this time. There are so many things going on with the corporation that it’s been such a long time since I’ve stopped by the company to take a look.”
GuQingPei quickly got up, “Chairman Yuan, please have a sit.”
YuanLiJiang sat on the sofa and very emotionally expressed, “Director Gu, I had just taken a tour around the company and I’m so touched. I acquired this company last March. At the time, the company had only 20 to 30 remaining employees. It was very inefficiently run and seems to be on the verge of bankruptcy. The entire company’s morale is low. GuQingPei responded modestly, “Chairman Yuan, these are all things that you could have done very easily; it’s just that you have such a large corporation needing you to manage making it hard for you to balance. So you hired me to help share some of your tribulations. This is my job. So it can’t be said as credited to me. I just hope that I’ve lived up to your expectations.”
As GuQingPei was saying this, his forehead was sweating bullets. He hadn’t forgotten that YuanYang was still sleeping in the room behind him and might wake up any time. Adding on to YuanYang’s habit of sleeping naked….. if he…
YuanLiJiang is full of praises, “QingPei, I really didn’t underrate you. A young talent like you will have boundless future. You will do well. The world is vast.”
“Thank you Chairman Yuan.”
“Oh? Where is that YuanYang kid? ”
GuQingPei smiled, “He…”
YuanLiJiang creased his brows, “Did he run out again? Ridiculous, I’ll give him a call to get him to come back.” He pulled out his cell phone as he was saying this.
GuQingPei gently pressed his hand and braced himself, “Chairman Yuan, YuanYang is sleeping inside.”
YuanLiJiang stared blankly, “Inside?” He pointed to GuQingPei’s break room.
GuQingPei nonchalantly (pretended like it was nothing), “Ahhh, he was really tired working on a project today so I let him take a nap in there.”
“How could he take a nap in your office. This is not customary. Not to mention, my chairman’s office is empty, why didn’t he go to sleep in there?”
GuQingPei swallowed, “Ah, maybe because it doesn’t get cleaned regularly.”
“It’s not cleaned regularly?” YuanLiJiang frowned, “My office should be cleaned every day. This is the cleaning staff’s neglection of duty. You should look into this. How could a small assistant take a nap in the president’s office? That’s outrageous.”
GuQingPei desperately wanted to change the topic but YuanLiJiang wasn’t allowing it. Instead, he got up and walked toward the break room and opened the door forcefully.
The light penetrating from outside instantly awaken YuanYang; he didn’t see who the person was as he mumbled, “What’s going on? It’s already two o’clock?” His tone is like that of a lover acting like a spoiled child.
YuanLiJiang stared dazedly, then immediately became angry, “How could you nap in the president’s office. Is this proper?”
YuanYang instantly became alert as he turned over and sat up.
YuanLiJiang lividly looked at his arrogant son who didn’t seem to have any regards to his superior.
GuQingPei tried to deflect the matter as he smiled and said to YuanLiJiang, “Chairman Yuan, don’t take this matter to heart. YuanYang is really too tired. He’s been up since 5am this morning and had been busy till noon. Even standards need to have exceptions to be lenient for human necessity, just let him sleep for a while.”
As YuanLiJiang look at YuanYang impatiently getting dressed, he started to feel very awkward. Had the relationship between YuanYang and GuQingPei already progressed to this good? Didn’t they use to always not get along?
YuanYang got dressed and scoffed, “Dad, it’s just a nap, why are you so agitated?”
“You’re sleeping naked in Director’s Gu’s bed, do you think this is appropriate? How is Director Gu going to sleep? If you’re tired, why didn’t you go to my office to sleep?”
“There’s a musty smell in your office,” YuanYang thought. I’ve already fucked Director Gu naked, his bed is nothing.
“Have people clean it up. Don’t sleep here in the future; Director Gu just didn’t want to rudely say anything to you because you’re my son but you should be more considerate.” YuanLiJiang patted his head, “Quickly wear your clothes.”
GuQingPei awkwardly smile, “Chairman Yuan, I’m really fine with it.”
YuanLiJiang responded, “Director Gu, don’t treat him as the young master of the Yuan family. Just treat him as any ordinary employee. You must not give any preferential treatment.”
YuanYang snorted, “There is certainly preferential treatment; he is particularly harsh on me.”
YuanLiJiang brightened up, “That is for your own good.”
GuQingPei nodded, “Don’t worry, Chairman Yuan.”
YuanLiJiang stared at YuanYang, “Go wash up. Director Gu and I need to have a meeting with Legal and Finance. You go inform them. You’ll be writing the minutes.”
“Got it,” YuanYang glanced at GuQingPei, his eyes glimmered with a faint trace of tease.
GuQingPei led out a sigh of relief. Fortunately YuanYang didn’t blurt out anything or he really won’t be able to eat today.
