Tit For Tat (Beloved Enemy) - Chap 65
Beloved Enemy Chapter 65
FEBRUARY 7, 2019 ~ ROSYSPELL
YuanLiJiang glared at YuanYang and then shouted out to WuJingLan, “Eat first. I still have things to say to him.”
WuJingLan hesitated for a moment but still turned and went downstairs.
YuanLiJiang’s fist rested on the table, gripping it tightly. After his anger subsided, he still has to think of ways to clean up this mess. He never could have imagined that an economic lawsuit could implicate so many other issues.
His biggest headache now is not the problem with the lawsuit but with YuanYang’s shameful sex pictures!
YuanYang picked up the paper on the table and quickly glanced at it. His eyes cold, “Dad, I’ll handle it myself.” After saying that, he wanted put the paper into his pocket.
YuanLiJiang immediately snatched it back, “What do you want to do? Kill him? So many people can’t even catch him. Do you think you’re even more capable? If you’re fucking capable, you wouldn’t have let other people get their hands on something this shameful!” YuanLiJiang got even more riled up as slammed his fist on the table.
YuanYang secretly gritted his teeth, “Dad, you don’t have to care, I’ll think of something.”
“Think my ass. If these kinds of photo got exposed, our Yuan’s family’s face will be completely shamed by you.” YuanLiJiang scrunched up the note, “I’ll handle this matter. Go and give GuQingPei a call. Tell him to come see me tomorrow.”
YuanYang was silent and very tiredly stated, “Dad, I can’t.”
“What did you say?”
“You can’t tell him about this.”
“Don’t tell him and let the two of you continue on in the company…” YuanLiJiang suddenly stared blankly, lifting his head, “When did you start protecting him like this? Didn’t you guys always not get along? Tell me the truth, why is your laptop in his home?”
YuanYang expressionlessly looked at YuanLiJiang, “Dad, I live in his house.”
This matter can’t be hidden forever. He also didn’t want to hide it. This time, he’ll just brace himself and say it. Then he won’t have to always be anxious, living in constant fear of them being found out.
YuanLiJiang narrowed his eyes, his eyebrows slightly tremble, “Say it again?”
YuanYang gritted his teeth, “We live together.”
YuanLiJiang is angered to the extreme and sneered, “YuanYang, I give birth to you is so that you could collect debts from me. I’m your fucking creditor!” YuanLiJiang stood up, “Get the fuck out, I’ll deal with this matter.”
With both of his hands propped on the table, YuanYang quickly pleaded, “Dad, don’t tell GuQingPei.”
“Then what do you want?”
“Don’t tell him. He doesn’t know about the video.”
YuanLiJiang sneered, “You afraid he’ll blame you?”
YuanYang hesitated for a moment and then nodded.
YuanLiJiang looked at him for half a second, “You like him?”
This time YuanYang hesitated for a long time.
YuanLiJiang’s eyes became gloomily complicated, “Go out. How I handle this is not in your control. Get the fuck out.”
YuanYang looked at YuanLiJiang seriously, “Dad, promise me first, you must not tell him.”
“I said get the fuck out.”
YuanYang didn’t back off at all, “Promise me first. This is not his fault, you can’t tell him.”
YuanLiJiang’s expression became livid, “You really have no shame to mention this!”
YuanYang looked at his father skeptically.
“Get the fuck out. I don’t want to see you right now.”
YuanYang grabbed the big envelope with the photos, pressing it tightly to his chest, then turned and left.
YuanLiJiang sat quietly at the table, pondering about the resolution to this matter… not only with LiuQiang but also with GuQingPei.
He spread out the note in his hand and then took out a small black lacquered mobile phone from a locked drawer. The phone’s style was very old. There was no screen, only the dial button. He dialed the number on the note….
On the other side, GuQingPei was busy celebrating the Spring Festival (New Year’s) with his parents. When the clock chimed at 12 midnight, text messages continuously flowed in, welcoming the New Years. GuQingPei wanted YuanYang to be the first one he talked to. He thought that YuanYang would be holding his phone, waiting for his call at midnight but he didn’t expect that the phone would be ringing for a long time before he (YuanYang) picked up.
GuQingPei smiled as he shouted, “Happy New Year!”
YuanYang’s voice on the other side sounded a bit depressed. He said a few words but GuQingPei couldn’t hear it, “Too noisy, talk louder…”
YuanYang hung up at this time. After a while, a text message came, “It’s too noisy. I’ll call you back later tonight.”
GuQingPei was a bit disappointed but he didn’t put it in his heart. His mother called out to him to watch the fireworks so he quickly ran over.
Later that night, YuanYang actually called but his voice sounded very exhausted. GuQingPei asked him what happened. He replied that he had to deal with too many relatives and was just tired.
GuQingPei didn’t think too much, just smiled and responded, “I’ll be back in two days. Just hold on, otherwise the plane tickets would have been wasted.”
“Ahhh, I’m waiting for you to come back,” YuanYang looked at LiuQiang’s information lying on top of his leg and the string of phone numbers that he now remembered by heart with just a sweeping glance, his expression is cold and chilling.
Hanging up the phone with GuQingPei, YuanYang called PengFang to ask for a person’s phone number.
PengFang was surprised, “Didn’t you look down on him? Why are you suddenly asking for his number? You’re not trying to cause trouble right? He offended you?”
“No, I need his help on something,” YuanYang responded calmly.
“You? You need to ask LiWenYao for help? What are you asking him to help you with? ”
“Find someone.”
“You didn’t ask Chief Zhang.”
“I can’t let this get to my dad again and Chief Zhang is too slow. I need to look for LiWenYao. He must have a solution.”
PengFang was silent for a moment, “You have to tell me what’s going on first.”
“I don’t have time to tell you right now. I really don’t have time. Give me his number.”
“LiWenYao will not be easy to get rid of once he helped you.”
“I know. Just give it to me.”
PengFang hesitated a bit and sighed, “I’ll text it to you.”
“Ok.”
“YuanYang, if it’s because of GuQingPei, then I advise…”
YuanYang immediately hung up.
After a while, PengFang’s text message came. YuanYang dialed the number.
“Hello, who is this?” A sluggish voice sounded from the other end.
“General Li, I’m YuanYang.”
LiWenYao responded with a long “oh” sound, “Little pal YuanYang? Hehe, why would you be calling me? This is very shocking.”
“Help me find someone. The conditions will be up to you.”
LiWenYao laughed loudly, “You’re very direct, not bad. I like it. Hmm, the conditions. I can’t think of it right now. Let’s just say that you owe me a favor, how about that?”
“Fine.”
“Send me all the information you have.”
“Okay.”
“Oh right, alive or dead?”
YuanYang clenched his fist, “Alive.”
“I’ll take care of it.”
YuanYang flicked his finger on LiuQiang’s photo. All kinds of menacing ideas rolled in his stomach.
