Tit For Tat (Beloved Enemy) - Chap 70
Beloved Enemy Chapter 70
FEBRUARY 12, 2019 ~ ROSYSPELL
After returning to the hotel, YuanYang anxiously took out his cell phone to call GuQingPei.
The call quickly connected, GuQingPei’s faint voice sounded on the other end, “YuanYang.”
“Where are you? Are you finished meeting with WangJin? You didn’t go out with him? You’re already home?”
“I’m done eating with him then came home.”
YuanYang displeasingly groaned, “What did you guys talk about?”
GuQingPei forcefully smiled, “YuanYang, you don’t need to check up on us, just one of you is already tiring enough for me, I’m not in any mood to entice anyone else.”
YuanYang was silent for a moment, “After you leave the company, have a good rest. Wherever you go, I’ll go with you.”
GuQingPei sighed, “You won’t be able to. Just do what you need to do.”
“I just want to follow you or you follow me.”
“YuanYang, you can’t possibly follow me, I also won’t follow you. If you don’t mature soon…. I can’t take care of a child all my life.”
YuanYang’s heart momentarily feel pained, “You only need to stay in a place where I can see you. That is enough. I will definitely make you look at me with admiration.”
GuQingPei was silent.
YuanYang pressed the phone close to his face, as if doing so he will be able to get a bit closer to GuQingPei, whispering, “I miss you.”
GuQingPei covered his eyes. This feeling of loneliness and helplessness….can really break someone’s heart. With his voice hoarse, “Where are you going?”
“I’ll be back tomorrow after taking care of some business.”
“What time tomorrow? How about I make curry crab for you?”
“Maybe at night. Okay. That sounds delicious.”
The two are just like any ordinary couple, endlessly talking about things that didn’t mean anything and had no specific reasoning, merely just exchanging a phone call to discuss what to eat for dinner. They didn’t mention the pressure from each side, as if these obstacles did not exist.
It’s that simple.
Only GuQingPei understood that after the holidays are over, they should end it.
After hanging up the phone, GuQingPei looked around the empty room. He had never felt that he had so much time.
When he thought of himself being out of work (unemployed) soon, there are many things that don’t need to be rushed. He won’t need to work overtime nor participate in giving gifts for the holidays, or even meet up with clients. Actually, right now, he doesn’t even know what to do with himself.
Looking at the time, the supermarket should not be closed yet. He decided to go buy some ingredients to make a good meal for YuanYang tomorrow.
This is the supermarket that YuanYang and him usually shops at. Pushing the cart through the aisles and rows of shelves, seeing some of the snacks, he would think of YuanYang. These are things that he never eats but YuanYang loves to eat them. When he got to this isle, he stopped the cart and unconsciously dumped all the snacks that YuanYang usually likes to eat into the cart.
The supermarket is about to close; there are very few people around. GuQingPei subconsciously turned back and looked at the rows of empty shelves that are behind him, all the items on these shelves, looking so very isolated, waiting for people to buy.
But there is no one.
GuQingPei hands were trembling as he gripped tightly on the cart’s handlebar. He never felt so lonely.
The time that he is together with YuanYang is not that long, but because YuanYang’s sense of presence is so intensely strong, unconsciously, he had become a part of his life… his family…his surrounding…. and even at the supermarket that they usually shop at, it is full of YuanYang’s shadows.
If YuanYang were to suddenly disappear from his life…GuQingPei could no longer imagine that.
He quickly paid for the groceries and left.
After he returned home, he sent a text to YuanYang, “Where are you? How about I come look for you?”
Very quickly YuanYang called him, his voice a little tense, “Something happened? Are you okay?”
“It’s nothing. I’m just very bored at home. Where are you? Is it convenient for me to come over?”
“I’m not in Beijing.”
“Oh.” GuQingPei replied, his tone unable to hide his disappointment, “Nevermind then, just come back early tomorrow.”
“Do you miss me?”
GuQingPei lowly laughed, “Yeah (miss you).”
The corners of YuanYang’s mouth couldn’t help but rise, “After I finished taking care of some business tomorrow, I’ll come back right away. How about we plan for a vacation again? I want to go on a vacation with you.”
GuQingPei sadly smiled, “Okay.”
After hanging up the phone, both men had their worries and couldn’t sleep all night.
The next day, just as YuanYang and QinZe where tracking down the video’s whereabouts from LiuQiang, GuQingPei received a call from Chairman Yuan to meet up to hand over some things.
Fortunately, Chairman Yuan didn’t personally come. Instead, he sent several executives from the company to begin the process of transitioning his projects to ensure a smooth implementation of the year end work efforts.
On YuanYang’s side, just as expected, before LiuQiang left, he contacted his ex-wife and their eldest child, this kid is sixteen-year-old, ignorant and incompetent…but extremely reckless, daring to do anything.
This kid is currently abroad. He is the only close relative of LiuQiang that they currently couldn’t locate. Because a phone call would leak their whereabouts. QinZe contacted his colleagues to inform them to seize this person the instant they find him.
After capturing LiuQiang’s son, LiuQiang’s ex-wife, his mistress and his parents were all kept under surveillance for a long. All were also under house arrest.
YuanYang contacted his comrade to capture LiuQiang before he got on the plane.
Not long after LiuQiang was locked up, QinZe told him that it was found in the motel that LiuQiang’s son stayed at. Right now they are investigating to see if there is any back-up.
YuanYang had originally wanted to personally investigate LiuQiang but he was in a hurry to return home to see GuQingPei. Thinking of LiuQiang’s son having to spend the rest of his life in prison, he was in no hurry to do this.
YuanYang got home before dinner. GuQingPei was wrapped in an apron making the curry sauce. The entire house permeated with this appetizing tasty aroma.
When YuanYang entered the house, under GuQingPei’s surprising gaze, he immediately hugged and kissed him fiercely on the lips. Thinking that the matters with the video have been resolved, the big rock that had been weighing on his heart had finally been lifted, he finally dared to look into GuQingPei’s face without feeling troubled and guilty.
One of GuQingPei’s hand grasp onto his shoulder, the other to the back of his head, his actions reversed to become the initiator; he energetically sucked on YuanYang’s lips, their two agile tongues warmly entwined and thrashed against one another. This simple kiss is enough to make people’s heart burn with arousing desires.
YuanYang reached his hands into GuQingPei’s clothes, heartily stroking his body.
GuQingPei lowly panted, “Aren’t you hungry? Want to eat?”
“I want to taste you first,” YuanYang pulled off his apron, half-dragged half-carried him out of the kitchen and pressed him down onto the large soft leather sofa.
GuQingPei lowly smiled, “My body smells of curry.”
“That’s perfectly appetizing,” YuanYang tore apart the front of his clothes and started to rain kisses on GuQingPei’s chest. GuQingPei’s hands caressed through YuanYang’s thick black hair back and forth as he continued to grind his lower body against YuanYang’s body, stimulating their lustful desires. They are like two hungry beasts, tearing apart each other’s clothes, licking and biting each other’s skin, using their most fervently intense actions to respond to each other’s passion.
The two people frantically made love from the sofa to the ground, then from the living room to their bedroom. When they’ve finally satiated themselves, the sky was already dark.
GuQingPei was lying on the bed, not wanting to move. YuanYang gently hugged him, licking the sweat on his back.
In this quiet and beautiful moment, no one wants to be the first to speak for fear of destroying such tranquility.
In the end, it was the ringing sound of the phone that pulled them out of their daze.
YuanYang picked up the phone, seeing the name from the caller ID, his brows furrowed.
GuQingPei saw that he didn’t answer for the longest time, he turned around to look. The phone screen read the character “Father.” Although GuQingPei appeared to remain calm, subconsciously he was holding his breath.
“Hey, dad.”
“Come home.”
“I’m busy.”
“Bullshit, come back immediately.”
YuanYang gloomily retorted, “Let me finished eating dinner first.”
“There is no shortage of food for you in this house. You stay home for this New Year’s. Listen! Come back and explain to me why you went to Tangshan to find him.”
The room was so quiet that GuQingPei can clearly hear what the two were talking about. YuanYang didn’t dare to speak any further for fear that his father would say more.
He responded, “Fine, I know, I’ll come back now.”
Hanging up the phone, GuQingPei looked at him suspiciously, “You went to Tangshan yesterday? Who were you looking for?”
