Since GuQingPei couldn’t fend off WangJin, he could only watch as he stayed next-door.
When WangJin returned to his room to pick up his luggage and changed his clothes, GuQingPei saw the roses on the table and was tempted to laugh.
What is he treating me as? To actually give me flowers? YuanYang would never do something so impractically meaningless. Instead, he will just cook him a hot meal.
GuQingPei’s expression slightly changed when he thought of YuanYang. He rigorously toweled dry his hair, hoping to wipe out the image from his mind. After blow-drying his hair, he changed his clothes. He definitely expected WangJin to come find him later.
Sure enough, at three in the afternoon, WangJin knocked on his door to take him out for dinner. WangJin smiled, “I figured you’d be too lazy to go anywhere on your own. I’ve rented a car and hired a local driver. It’s still early. Let’s explore around the island and then find a good restaurant to eat. Are you okay with this arrangement?”
GuQingPei lightly smiled, “Whatever Wang Ge decides is fine.”
The two men got into the car. The driver took them to meander around the bustling lively beach and strolled around the pedestrian streets. WangJin’s expression changed from his usual business-like calmness and seriousness to one that is full of smiles as he cheerfully chatted with the driver.
When they got to the pedestrian street, whatever he saw that was new and exciting, he would talk it over with GuQingPei.
GuQingPei responded, “Wang Ge must have not gone out to play for a long time.”
WangJin sighed, “Yeah, I came to Saipan once for a meeting but didn’t even have time for a swim before I had to hurry back. I’ve been to many places these years, but no time to really calm down to have a good rest and enjoy. Actually, lack of time is not the main reason; it’s mainly because there are no suitable people to accompany me. Do you understand that kind of feeling? Seeing such breathtaking beautiful scenery, yet there is no one next to you to share it with. It’s very lonely. If it was just a person alone, even in the most beautiful of places, it’s dull and boring.” WangJin gave him a sentimental look, “So, as far as I’m concerned, right now is a real vacation for me because you are with me.”
GuQingPei faintly smiled but did not respond.
WangJin squinted his eyes to look at the sun, smiling very comfortably.
When the driver came, he kept holding WangJin’s camera to help them take pictures. GuQingPei didn’t care too much about it, but it was WangJin who was very eager as he put his arms around his shoulders to snap several pictures.
The two men wander around the pedestrian streets. There are many things that are suitable to be brought back as gifts, but both people had nothing they needed to buy. Getting to the end of the street, the driver drove over to take them to dinner.
They pulled into a restaurant that is by the sea with excellent scenery. Because it was still early, there weren’t too many people. The two sat at the window and chatted. They do have many things in common and chatted incessantly about things like the colonial history of Saipan, the American economy and then about the domestic investment situation, exchanging a lot of beneficial information.
WangJin is a very knowledgeable person with excellent eloquence. The two people spoke with special resonance. GuQingPei especially liked to chat with WangJin. Not that he is conceited, but most of the people he came in contact with, he can’t really communicate to them.
Moreover, WangJin didn’t mention anything about his photos nor did he mention his departure from YuanLiJiang’s company. For merely this point alone, he was thankful. Even though he wouldn’t respond even if WangJin asked, he didn’t want anyone to mention it.
After the two people finished eating, the driver told them that they were only a mere twenty-minute walk from their hotel. So they decided to not go into the car but instead walked back, chatting along the way.
After they returned to the hotel, they played billiards for a while and drank some wine. GuQingPei realized that the time that he spends with WangJin flies by very fast, as if they hadn’t yet finished talking and it was time to go sleep.
WangJin glanced at his watch, “Although I don’t want this to end, it’s already past 11pm. QingPei, go to bed, don’t get too tired.”
It was only then that GuQingPei felt a little tired. He yawned, “Wang Ge, you should also rest early.”
WangJin followed him back to his room. Before GuQingPei walked into his room, WangJin looked at him with a smile, “Can I get a goodnight kiss?”
GuQingPei was noncommittal. He just smiled and patted him on the back and turned around, about to enter his room. WangJin immediately moved close and quickly kissed him on the cheek; then he even winked at him with a smile.
GuQingPei shook his head helplessly and responded, “Good night.” Then he turned and walked into his room.
WangJin looked at the closed door as he licked his lips, revealing a confident smile.
The next morning, he (GuQingPei) slept till past ten o’clock.
While lying on the bed, he heard the sound of someone swimming outside the windows.
The room in which he stayed in is a suite with view of the sea. Opening the French doors, heading straight out is a swimming pool where you can look directly out into the vast sea. There are only three types of these rooms. It is probably the neighbor getting up for a morning swim, or of course, it may also be WangJin.
GuQingPei washed up and then went to the windows and opened the curtains. The dazzling sunshine instantly filled the bedroom. GuQingPei squinted his eyes. Sure enough, he sees WangJin swimming.
GuQingPei opened the French doors and walked out. He sat down on a chaise lounge and looked at WangJin, “Got up so early.”
WangJin swam toward GuQingPei, wiping the water on his face and smiled, “I usually get up at 6:30am. Even if there is a timing difference, I usually can’t sleep in. Did I disturb you?”
“Nah, I’ve already awakened.”
WangJin got to the edge of the pool and climbed out. His movement made his upper body muscles bulge. His firm and strong body is usually hidden beneath tailored suits. But in this moment, it is all exposed. It is really an unexpected sight to see him with such alluring beautiful sex appeal.
GuQingPei raised his eyebrows and unconsciously looked away. As WangJin used a towel from the lounge chair to wipe the water off of himself, he tells GuQingPei, “I was waiting for you to wake up so we can go eat together.”
“Breakfast or lunch?”
WangJin grinned and smiled, “Either.” When he saw GuQingPei’s eyes drifting, he smiled, crouched down and used his fingers to gently touch GuQingPei’s chin, turning his face over, “Haven’t I kept myself in good shape? Why don’t you at least take a look? Wasting my effort in exposing myself in the pool with an empty-stomach.”
GuQingPei narrowed his eyes and smiled, “You’ve kept it well.”
WangJin smiled happily, “Just looking…you might not know how good it is.”
GuQingPei looked directly into WangJin’s eyes and calmly stated, “Is Wang Ge willing to let me fuck you (be on top)?”
WangJin is stunned, “What?”
GuQingPei extended his hand and lightly touched his waistline, “If you are willing to, then we won’t have to go eat.”
WangJin’s face flashed with a tinged of embarrassment. It was fleeting, but GuQingPei still saw it nonetheless. GuQingPei pulled back, his mood was a lot better.
WangJin blinked, “Whoever is on top or bottom could be discussed on the bed.”
“It should be discussed ahead of time so as to avoid disappointment.”
WangJin slightly frowned, “You and YuanYang…I thought you are the …..”
GuQingPei eyes beamed with shimmering light, remaining calm and composed, “You think I’m a zero(T/N). How did you come to that conclusion? From those photos?”

WangJin immediately answered, “QingPei, that’s not what I meant. It’s just a personal choice. There’s no differentiation between good or bad.”
“Right, it’s just a personal choice,” GuQingPei revealed his calming smile once again, “So if Wang Ge is unwilling, then there is nothing more (than just friendship) for us.”
WangJin forcefully smiled, “I really can’t accept it. But…” WangJin bent down and used his fingers to outline GuQingPei’s lips, “This alone won’t make me give up. There will be that day, sooner or later, where I’ll make you willingly be with me.”
GuQingPei leaned over and stood up, “Let’s just go eat.”
WangJin shook his head and smiled. Then, he turned and headed back to his room.
The two did not eat in the hotel because GuQingPei said he was tired of American breakfast. He wanted to have some porridge, so they found a Chinese restaurant on the island.
The two people sat down but didn’t say much. WangJin suddenly asked, “What is your plan after the vacation?”
GuQingPei’s hand stirred the coffee spoon; he paused and shook his head, “To be honest, I haven’t thought about it.”
“You are a very methodical person, even if something unexpectedly happens; I don’t believe you can be perturbed.”
GuQingPei bitterly smile, “This time, I’m really confused, haven’t really thought about it.”
He had already decided to leave Beijing and be with YuanYang, to start up their ‘husband-and-wife partnership’. They will have their business and naturally will have no worries about their livelihood. However, the hope he had at the time had been utterly shattered by those few photos. He now only wanted to get as far away as possible from those with the surname “Yuan.”
What exactly should he do after the vacation is over, he really has no answer.
It would be very difficult for him to return to Beijing to find a job. He may go out and venture alone. After all, he is fully capable and competent. He won’t starve wherever he goes. It’s just that returning to China takes courage and to re-establish himself in the business world also takes courage.

My company’s doors will always be open for you. I always welcome such talent and competent people like you. Even if we ultimately don’t end up together, it doesn’t prevent me from admiring your abilities.”
Seeing his sincerity; in all honesty, GuQingPei was a little tempted.
At this time, the domestic conditions are not favorable. Even with the asset disposal business that he had been busy with for several years, only one project was completed in the past two years. One is because he had been too busy with his job, and the other is related to the economic situation. In fact, comparing to doing it on his own, he rather preferred to be an executive, leading a team to strive for a common purpose. It is not an ideal time for him to be venturing alone. What’s more, he no longer feels indebted to YuanLiJiang nor to YuanYang. On the contrary, if he joins WangJin’s company, he will be able to rely on WangJin as a powerful backer who can compete with YuanLiJiang, so that YuanLiJiang will not mess with him again.
WangJin was able to grasp people’s minds. He continued to add, “QingPei, I think that what I have considered for you, you also have thought about it yourself. I don’t want to say too many things for fear that you may feel uncomfortable. But what I know is much more than you think. The matters with you and YuanYang have made it hard for you to further progress in Beijing, cornering you in a tight spot. I don’t think other people will have the guts to help you. But I’m willing to, not for anything else, but just for you.” He grabbed onto GuQingPei’s hand, “Come to my company. You’ve worked so hard in Beijing all these years, are you telling me that you’re willing to give it all up? You’re so smart. You know what choice is best for you. I hope you can use me.”
GuQingPei silently looked at the coffee in his cup, the thoughts in his mind keeps churning and churning; these reasons instantly aided him in whether to accept help or not accept these pros and cons.
WangJin patted GuQingPei’s hand, “We have time during this vacation for you to think carefully. You don’t need to answer me right now. For the next two days, I want to talk to you in depths so that you can understand my company even more. Set aside personal feelings and just analyze my company’s prospects. Then, think about your own situation. QingPei, I believe you will make the right choice.”
This time, GuQingPei did not directly reject, but instead softly uttered, “Let me ….. think about it.”
