Zhao Jinxin pouted. He stared at the back of Shao Qun’s head for a while, then jumped off his back. He ran to the side and unplugged the TV.
The screen went black. Shao Qun howled in agony, shouting angrily, “Zhao Jinxin, what are you doing?! Do you want a beating?!”
Zhao Jinxin squatted on the ground, holding the plug guiltily. His eyes drooped sadly, “You said you’d play with me.”
“I was about to win! Just wait until I catch you!” Shao Qun jumped up from the ground.
Seeing trouble, Zhao Jinxin stood up and ran. Despite his short legs, he ran fast.
“Stop right there!” Shao Qun, who was in a growth spurt and a head taller than Zhao Jinxin, caught the child just outside the room. He grabbed him around the waist and lifted him up to pretend that he would throw him into the pond.

A stern, low voice came from behind them.

“Who bullied him? He unplugged my TV first!” Shao Qun retorted angrily.
“Why are you playing games instead of doing your homework? And you still have the nerve to argue with me?”
“It’s summer vacation, so what’s wrong with playing for a bit? Jiejie said I could play.”
“Your Jiejie has to listen to your old man too. No more playing!”
Shao Qun’s face turned red with anger as he turned to leave.
Zhao Jinxin stood there dazed for a while. He then ran after him, grabbing Shao Qun’s hand, “Gege, don’t be mad.”
“Get lost,” Shao Qun angrily shook off his hand.
Zhao Jinxin simply hugged his arm with both hands, “Gege, I’ll play games with you. I won’t tell Shushu.”
“Get lost. It’s all your fault.” Shao Qun pouted. His face was full of anger.
“Gege,” Zhao Jinxin said softly, “Don’t be mad at me. I’ll sing for you, okay? I’ll play games with you.”
Shao Qun looked down at him. He couldn’t help but smile, then straightened his face, “You can’t play for shit.”
“Even if I can’t, I’ll still be with you. I like being with Gege,” Zhao Jinxin smiled sweetly at him.
Shao Qun’s heart softened a bit, “Fine. Let’s play something that you can play.”
“Let’s drive toy cars! Yay~” Zhao Jinxin pulled Shao Qun towards his room.
As Shao Qun walked, he thought, why does he have to play with this little brat who ruined his game?
